The goo encased Doms left arm and the shelf flew forward. Dom dropped so quickly that Vic didn't have time to register than the shelf was now coming her way. Doms Confundus spell hit her and she blinked, confused, and didn't move out of the shelfs way. It slammed into her and she was flattened against the wall behind her for a moment. She groaned, pushing the shelf off of her and whipping her wand back at Dom on the ground, "Avis," a flock of birds flew toward Dom but slammed into the shield around her. Vic glared, then pointed her wand at the shelf, "Ascendio!" The shelf floated in the air and then Vic thrust her wand forward, pushing the shelf toward Dom, the last few books on it flying off. @dominique

Dom definitely didn't expect her spell to hit Vic, and she definitely hadn't expected the shelf to either. Her eyes widened as she watched her sister. Dom was still trying to catch her breath as she watched her sister send birds her way. She smirked ever so slightly when the birds couldn't reach her. Then she frowned when the shelf was headed towards her. That wasn't good. She jumped to the side, trying to avoid the shelf, but she was off on her timing a little bit and the edge of the shelf hit her foot. She grunted, annoyed at how much it hurt, but rising to her feet and casting her protection charm again, levitating the books and other things from the shelf and sending them all across the room toward her sister. "How long does this go?" Dom called across the room. She was definitely starting to get a bit tired.

As Dom gathered herself and fired books across, asking how long this was supposed to go, Vic smiled. "Imobulus," she cast. Everything around the room froze just sort of floating in mid-air. She gently brought her wands down lowering books and things to do land on the ground, table, and couch softly.
"The enemy doesn't stop when you're tired," she explained firmly, pocketing her wand. "Thankfully I'm not your enemy", she chuckled, walking forward to hold out a hand to her sister or handshake. "But this proves my point, this is what I mean all of us needing to train together. Maybe in a less... " she looked around the slightly destroyed room, "homie place."

Dom felt herself relax slightly when Vic froze everything and slowly lowered the books and other items back to the ground. It seemed like their little duel was coming to an end, which wasn’t a bad thing. It gave Dom a lot to think about. There were quite a few things she wanted to practice and do better on for her next duel with her sister.
When Vic started to lecture her about her enemies not stopping just because she was tired, Dom resisted the temptation to roll her eyes. Obviously they wouldn’t stop for that, but she and Vic weren’t really enemies and this wasn’t a real fight. She was more asking how long they were going to do this today, but then Vic was putting away her wand, laughing softly. Dom took her hand and smiled, “I agree. I like training together.” She glanced around the room as well, “Though yeah, we should find somewhere else for it. I don’t want to always have to repair everything when we practice.” Dom laughed, feeling more relaxed now than she had in a while.

Dom said she liked training together, agreeing that they should find somewhere else. "Yeah... definitely not the best place," she agreed. She moved toward her sister and placed her hands on both of Doms shoulders. "I didn't take you seriously before, I'll admit it. I was scared," she explained. "But we're in this together now, we'll do whatever it takes." She held Doms gaze for another moment before giving her shoulders a tight squeeze, and pushing her away a little with a smile. "Let's clean up," she suggested, lifting her wand to start the process.
She felt like they had broken through a barrier, one that Vic had put up herself. It was a new world when your baby sister became more than just that. More than a friend. No, Dominique Weasley was now a powerful ally. And Vic wouldn't forget it.
