23RD DECEMBER 2024
Refusing to spend another upcoming year alone or even Christmas amongst her Pureblood family any longer, Sari Fawley found herself writing her name in for the Blishwick dating roulette. It was something silly and for fun, joining alongside her elder Hufflepuff friend: Eli and even her shy, quieter friend: Zenevieva. It was the blonde’s first time participating in something rather popular and exciting but she feared who exactly she would be paired with. It was no secret that Sari loved both men and women, but knowing she could be paired with either, she did her best to dress her best. After finding out she would be going on a Ghost Tour not too far from her home, she didn’t overdress but still attempted her best.
At Trafalgar Square by the early evening, ready for the first tour on that Monday, the young blonde wandered around the Muggles, somewhat craving a tea. But for at least ten minutes or so, she watched as couples would walk in and out of the local coffee stores, huddling together and acting all…cutesy. Ah. Maybe one day it’ll happen. The twenty-third of December was a chilly one, like most of December’s days and as time grew closer to the arranged time from the information given, the blonde began to walk closer to the tour bus.
Maybe she’ll somehow get along with whoever she’s matched with…While being creeped out from whatever the tour had for them? @louis & hopefully this works ;u;

A date. Louis Weasley was getting ready for a date. It was odd because it wasn’t with Georgiana, who had been his first - and so far only - girlfriend, and they had ended things at the start of term. Not that Louis had spent his time moping about the castle, like he’d seen the Krum girl do when that Durmstrang boy left her, but he was respectful enough of their time together that he didn’t want to start up with someone else for some time. Now that it was break, he had decided to give this Blishwick fellow a whirl, and see what happened. He was to go on a Ghost Tour in London, which sounded delightfully fun. London of course had plenty of ghost and ghost tales to pick and choose from, some more gory and disgusting than others. Jack the Ripper of course immediately came to mind as one of the more gruesome tales, and Louis was sure it’d be covered during the tour. Louis wore a nice navy button down shirt and khakis before shoving on his black winter pea coat and Apparating to the Leaky Cauldron in London, having passed his Apparition examination last April. He pulled on his gloves and started making his way out of the warm pub into the cold London air. He made it to Trafalgar Square with a few minutes to spend, and began looking around the throng of people waiting to get on the warm tour bus. He spotted a blonde on her own to looked to be around his age, and made his way towards her. “Hi, are you here for a blind date?” he asked her abruptly, then laughed. “That sounds a bit forward. I’m Louis, I’m here from Blishwick’s dating service,” he told her, hoping he had the right girl and she wasn’t about to scream her head off about the madman asking her about blind dates. @sari

London was a great place for wizards and Muggles alike - filled with random buildings, places to tour and activities to take part in, so the Ghost Tour was one thing Sari was excited for. Considering she grew up in a large Pureblood family, boredom and going out into the Muggle world for a day of enjoyment was very slim, considering magic brought everything the blonde really needed. Waiting around for the short amount of time was perfect enough for the Fawley, especially when someone eventually walked up to her.
As he spoke, Sari couldn’t help but gaze upon his outfit. The male brushed up rather well and sounded rather nice. The blonde nodded, her hands reaching up for the curls around her ears, pushing the stray strands behind it. ”I-I am!” She smiled, looking up at him through her lashes. ”I’m Sari…Also here from Blishwick’s.” The Fawley was tempted to play an act, go absolutely insane at his statement before revealing the truth but considering how…Cute he was…Sari went against her initial idea. ”I just know we’re here for the Ghost Tour…” She began, looking up at the detailing of the bus. ”Have you ever been on one of these before?”

Louis smiled; the girl in front of him must be his date then. It made sense; she was around his age, and a girl on a date from Blishwicks. It’d be odd if the organization sent two sets of dates to the same place and time - what if he had matched them up wrong and they swapped partners? Sure it’d be good for the people involved, but bad for Blishwicks. “Well nice to meet you Sari,” he said with a warm smile. She was pretty, blonde and seemed a little nervous, which was a relief as Louis felt a ball of nerves as well. He’d pretty much fallen into his relationship with Georgie, so this whole dating thing felt like a whole new experience for him. “Never,” Louis admitted, offering a hand to Sari as the tourists made their way up onto the bus. Louis chose seats near the front and let Sari sit in the window. “London has plenty of ghost stories to be told though, so I can’t wait to hear what’s up first.” Perhaps Jack the Ripper, though he doubted they would start with one of the most famous cases in all of London. He only really knew about the Ripper when it came to Muggle serial killers; the Wizarding world had plenty of violence for their kind to focus on without having to deal with psychopaths without magic. “Do you know much about London ghost stories?” he asked, wondering if she was in the same boat as him. @sari

It only made sense that he was her date, especially since Blishwick's services were usually exclusive for wizards alone. She wondered if Blishwick had potentially sent Sari to the wrong person, especially considering how cute her match was. He stood rather tall and had dark hair and his smile made her feel just a little more comfortable. The Fawley had a feeling she had seen him somewhere before, possibly in Hogwarts but she couldn't figure out whether he was older or younger than her. "Nice to meet you too Louis.", she responded, her lips curving into a smile. "I have a confession to make." She began, pausing. "I'm quite nervous. Go easy on me." How dramatic.
Dating wasn't exactly Sari's best area, especially with her confused sexuality and her longest...situationship was filled with chaos and problems. Giving Blishwick a shot was mainly for the blonde to put her mind off of things and to potentially have a good time. Taking his hand and following the Muggle tourists up the bus, she slotted into the seat first, glad she sat by the window. Windows seats had always been her favourite especially when returning from Hogwarts, it allowed her to see the best of sights. "I don't think I've heard any. Maybe a few ones relating to-" The blonde paused, looking around to note if any Muggles were exactly close. They weren't, allowing her to continue. "Wizards." She added, in a soft murmur.
”I’m guessing you know a few?”

Louis broke out into a relieved grin. “Don’t worry, I’m nervous too,” he told her confidentially, nudging her lightly to make her feel better. “But I will try to go easy on you,” he added with a nod. He sat down on the trolley next to Sari, and noticed he was tall enough to see over her head if he really needed to see anything out the window. “Yeah, they don’t know how much death and destruction really happened,” he whispered back, jerking his head towards the front of the bus where their guide was preparing his introduction. He sat back in his seat as the guide called for their attention and the bus started to move. As he had presumed, their first stop was in East London, where notorious killer Jack the Ripper had hunted for his prey. They filed off the bus to listen to a costumed narrator, dressed in nineteenth century garb, as she began to paint the picture of what life was like in the Ripper era for the impoverished population. “D’you reckon that Jack, whoever he was, may have been a wizard?” Louis mumbled lowly so only Sari could hear. He had killed in a very violent, non-magic way, but that didn’t necessarily mean he didn’t have wizarding blood. Perhaps he had been a Squib, or poorly talented, and had taken his anger out on prostitutes and the poor. @sari

WHILE THE NUDGE WAS meant to be reassuring, Sari only felt her face flush red, and her body spew out anxiety. She dressed nicely for the event, considering it was a date after all, but she hadn’t expected Louis to be rather cute. Her confidence flew out the window as he grinned, but Sari nodded, putting on a smile of her own at his response. With the two of them sitting, the blonde fumbled with her fingers before clasping her hands together, looking up at him briefly before the guide began his introduction. Slowly with the bus moving, the guide introduced where they were next headed to and shortly after they arrived at the first stop.
Following after him, Sari listened to his mumble before widening her eyes. They were surrounded by Muggles after all. ”Lets come up with a code name instead of…You know what.” Just for safe keeping anyway. ”If he was, he was of course a dark one. Maybe used the Unforgivable curses on his victims.” It was an interesting thought after all. ”But I thought he killed all of his victims like any Muggle would kill another?” She asked, now that she thought about it. ”What if…He killed in a Muggle style to avoid the revelation of…You know what once he was caught? A considerate murderer.”
