Ah, festivals! Hogsmeades in particular was one of the best Christmas festivals she’d ever come across. As such, Mercy had spent plenty of her free time enjoying the festivities. Ice skating in particular was great. Despite being from such a warm place, she’d learned to love winter. It was a nice contrast from the heat. Today she was sporting light brown hair, chin length, with gray eyes. Stepping away from the food stand selling roasted almonds, a bag of the delicious smelling nuts in hand, she smiled at the crowd. Popping an almond in her mouth she narrowly avoided walking into another patron of the festival.
”Oh! I’m so sorry, are you alright?” She asked, sporting a cool Russian accent today as she held out a hand to help stabalize the poor soul she’d almost run into. ”I did not see you there.”

Normally, Roxanne now commuted soley between her home in Wales and Diagon Alley in England, where the joke shop she worked was. She hadn't been to Hogsmeade in a while but the Christmas festival looked worthwhile, so she'd Apparated here as soon as she finished her project that she told herself she'd complete today. The place was lively and free, and Roxanne felt at home almost immediately, enjoying the ambiance and the festive mood. She felt herself smiling as she trailed her hand along a wooden fence, content to simply watch instead of participate in any of the activities or approach any of the stands and shops. She was so engrossed in watching some people happily ice skating a distance away that she didn't notice someone heading towards her until it was almost too late. A body appeared in her peripheral vision and she turned sharply enough just in time to avoid a collision. "Oh! I'm so sorry, are you alright? I did not see you there." asked the woman, who was obviously Russian by her accent. It appeared that she had been distracted as well. "It's fine, I'm good," Roxanne returned, brushing away her apology with a wave of her hand. "I'm sorry too, I wasn't looking either, equally my fault." She glanced at the nuts in the other woman's hand, and suddenly her stomach growled at the delicious smell. "Say, where did you get those? They look wonderful." she pointed at the snack.
