Where would you find Ronan on a Friday night such as this, well normally he would be either in Gryffindor Tower or exploring the castle and the grounds most likely with his friends. But not tonight. Tonight Ronan could currently be found up on the fifth floor. What was he doing here one might ask. Well he had already passed by blank section of wall several times now. Ronan stopped his pacing and watched as a door with a crest of a phoenix and a crossed sword and wand appeared where there had been no door before. It was the Room of Requirement and apparently this was it’s contribution to their group, a crest that has never been seen before. Ronan was excited as he opened the door to the room, and said door was only visible to those that had been invited by either Sammy, himself or their most trusted friends. Sammy and Ronan had come up with the idea to start this group, so that they could not only figure out for themselves just who this person is, the murderer. Of course they were going to teach everyone new spells and also spells that they had not learned yet. Ronan had gotten the idea from his dad to use the Room of Requirement for their meeting place and he agreed. Any and all letters that Ronan had sent, even if they didn’t contain information about Phoenix Rising, had been charmed in much the same manner as the Marauders Map, and it also would burn itself if someone read it that it was not addressed to. He had sent letters to his dad, Harry(asked him not to call him Mr. Potter), Walton, and he had even sent one to Professor Longbottom telling them about the group. And he asked them if they had any advice for him as to where to hold their meetings and also where they should start as far as practicing or teaching spells. Ronan had gotten feedback from his dad, Harry, and Walton, almost immediately, he had gotten a letter from Professor Longbottom not too long ago telling him to be careful. And here he was standing in the doorway to a most magnificent place. The room was huge. At the back of the room on the wall there it was the same crest that he had seen on the door. “Nice touch, you really out did yourself this time.” He said in a complimentary tone. His words were directed at the room which he knew would appreciate the compliment. There was even changing rooms. Closing the door he almost dropped what he was holding as he saw a library full of books that could help them out, also an area where they could all relax, a large area for them to practice, and even a separate room where they could brew potions. This place had it all. Ronan began to explore the room since he had a little bit of time before the meeting was supposed to start and once it did the door would seal itself. He also had to wait for people to show up. He was also sure that Colleen would be here soon, that is if he had judged her attitude correct for his sister had been excited all day. Most people thought that she was going crazy but he knew better. As he browsed some of the books he noticed that some of them were books that he had seen in Walton’s office the other night when he was supposedly serving detention. As Ronan was about to pick up a book he heard the door to the room open and close. What could she say? Ever since Ronan told her about this Phoenix Rising thing she had been quite a hyper Gryffindor. Not only did it sound cool and exciting, but it was also heroic and had a worthy cause. She really did want to help, even if a factor for her joining was because Ronan was part of it and no well in hell was she going to let him have all of the fun action. Her competitive spirit kind of flared up when she thought about him being part of a secretive association. But, Colleen did understand that it wasn't all fun and games, because there were serious matters at hand. And she was equally as serious to do what she could to be useful.
Anyway, as Ronan said, she had been excited and jittery all day. Those around her probably thought that she had dank the euphoria potion that caused people to be happier than usual, and she was content to have them think that way. She wasn't going to reveal anything about the Phoenix Rising to those who were not part of it. And really, what kind of a young girl didn't experience random changes in their mood sometimes? Like, she could've met a boy who made her want to squeal but could be reserved about telling others. It happened, so there was no cause for suspicion there.
Finally the time came for her to seek out the Room of Requirement. Colleen, being the daughter of Seamus Finnigan, was not afraid of walking around the lonely halls by herself, especially when it came to doing something secretive. In fact her father had actually given them advice about the using the Room of Requirement. Her only problem was not making giving in to the urge of running right at the Room of Requirement at top speed. So excited and eager was she.
Eventually, she did make it to where the door of the Room of Requirement should be. She was not alarmed when she didn't see a door in the first place, for she knew that it would show itself to her soon, as she was a member of Rising. She passed by it three times and, voila, a crest appeared! A phoenix crest with a sword and wand crossed at the center. She whistled. So noble and heroic!
Anyway, Colleen wasted no time in entering the door, and she gently closed it behind her when she did. After that, she got a good look at the setup of the room. It was a large, spacious room, but it was also a filled room. A room filled with all that they needed to operate. Her eyes widened at the sight in front of her, and she let out another whistle. She was impressed. However, what caught her attention the most was the sight of her brother in the room. He seemed to be the only one there. Yay! Finnigans beat other people in make first appearance. Normally she would've liked to beat her brother, but because she couldn't she was content to share this victory with him.
Grinning, Colleen crept her way up to him, and when she was behind him, she jumped at him and wrapped her arms around his neck, almost as if he were giving her a piggy-back ride. "Dia dhuit!" she greeted him in Irish Gaelic, which meant 'hello', and pronounced as "dee-a ghwit".

A couple of weeks ago Dominique had been out and about near the pond just looking for a quiet place to sit and think and maybe do what little she had left of her homework. But that plan was quickly scrapped when Ronan, a longtime friend and basically like a brother, since they had pretty much grown up together, due to the fact that their parents were good friends as well; to her had come up behind her and scared the daylights out of her. But no that wasn’t the only reason why he had come over. He wanted to talk about something, this something being Phoenix Rising. A group that Ronan and Sammy were starting. When she inquired as to what the group was for all she got in response was a secret group to learn more advanced magic and to also try and find/stop whoever it might be behind all of the killings. To say that Dom was intrigued is basically a good way to put. Of course she agreed, it was never in a Weasley to back down from something dangerous and that would also be an adventure. Especially not when you are the daughter of Bill Weasley a renowned Curse Breaker and someone who was also part of the Order of the Phoenix. Although Dom never ever said anything about that latter tid bit.
Dom made her way over to the fifth floor, from her common room, where the room of requirement was located. That was her destination. This whole thing seemed like Dumbledore’s Army or the Order of the Phoenix, if you asked Dom about it. But hey this was going to be fun right? Probably very dangerous. That would mean that she would need to always be on her guard. And it was a good thing that she had accepted the invitation from Professor Grey who asked her to participate in an extra class where she would learn advanced magic in all areas of study that the school offered and more.
She was excited and almost jumped when she found herself mere inches away from the door that hid behind it the room of requirement. The door had a crest on it as well, a very cool looking one. Opening the door Dom stepped inside the room and felt her mouth open just a little bit as she stared in awe at all the things that had been provided for them. After closing the door, it is rather rude to leave a door open if it is the entrance or the exit, Dom walked around as she heard a voice speak in Irish Gaelic. Of course she didn’t know that language but she knew who it belonged too, there were only two people that she knew of here at the school that could speak it, and that would be Ronan and Colleen Finnigan. Rounding a corner she spotted the two that were there and smiled. “Well if it isn’t the Finnigan siblings.” She said in greeting. Dom loved both of them since they were basically family and well family is something that you can always rely on and trust.

She had just got done talking to Whitney, her little sister, about some things. Mostly about school, and anything that happened to come up. She was a little worried about Whitney since she was a little more reserved than usual. Maybe she had a nightmare or something. Maryn wasn’t sure what to do about it, but she decided to talk to Sasha about it. That is when she got around to deciding to talk to her older sister. Maybe when she went she could get Ronan or Cori to go with her. Speaking of Ronan that boy had asked her to join a group called Phoenix Rising that was to be a secret group, and then they would learn new spells and other things. And they were going to try and figure out who was behind all of this. By this I mean the murders.
Maryn had a feeling that it had to do with whoever Arachne was and that person was linked to the mastermind of it all, in someway. She knew that the person was in Ravenclaw but she didn’t know who. And what was with the stupid and idiotic spiders that the person was using to send her notes? She really wanted to know what type of person associated with spiders like that or rather had control over them. Granted each spider she saw with a letter she promptly transfigured it into something and tossed it out a window or into the fire, or a garbage can.
She had made her way up to the fifth floor and to where the Room of Requirement was supposed to be at. Once there she saw a door with an ornate crest on it. Maryn opened the door and stepped inside not even noticing that the door closed on itself or the fact that Walton was standing in the shadows not too far away from the room. Maybe if she had noticed Walton, Maryn might have stopped and asked what he was up to, but alas she had not seen him. Looking around she walked over to where Dominique, Ronan and Colleen were at. “Hey guys! How’s it going?” She greeted her friends happily. Maryn was in a happy mood today and that was a good thing.

Sammy was both very excited for this, and... very not excited. On one hand, this was a very good thing; there was something happening here on the grounds, a murderer, and the students both needed to figure out who it was (not that she didn't think she already KNEW, that awful Ravenclaw Lestrange-!) and defend themselves. They didn't want any more bodies, no more people for them to trip over and see with their lifeless eyes and cold bodies and the blood and the gore and the horror on their-
Ahem. Breathe.
On the other hand, it was awful just because of that. On a normal day, she could try to ignore that memory. That image of that poor boy burned into her eyes, the thought that she hoped he died quickly, oh Merlin, or the horrible thought of what if she got there earlier, if she had managed to save him, or stop Aurora, or if she would have gotten killed herself or-
It was especially awful, because she could have fled the site right before Sammy got there, and she wouldn't know; she wouldn't have been able to hear her go, nor hear his screams. It tormented her, and brought all of her swirling emotions to the surface, and she didn't really want to endure that, not at all; something that she felt was very, very reasonable, in her opinion.
On the other, other hand (and when had she grown an extra limb?), she was nervous about leading this kind of thing, even if she wouldn't be doing it alone. Ronan was there, and @ethanjohnson was going to be there to translate her signs. Good ol' Ethan. She didn't want to get him in danger, if she didn't have to, but learning how to protect himself was super key; also, she kind of needed someone to translate her signs, very badly, so that worked. Unfortunately, the average person didn't understand signs, so... Ethan it was.
Speaking of which, he was right alongside her, and Sammy gave him a nervous smile, aware that she probably looked nauseous. 'Kind of nervous,' she signed quickly, as they approached the new door that was on the fifth floor. The prefect glanced around quickly, to make sure that no one was there, before shoving open the door. Huh. There were already more people here than anticipated.
Hoping that she didn't look ill to the people that didn't know her as well as Ethan, she gave them all a quick wave, stepping inside. Well. Time to get the show on the road.
Please let her make it through without losing her dinner.

When Sammy told Ethan about a group of kids getting together to try and solve the murders, he didn't want any part of it at first. He knew that he was one of the number one targets for the murderer, and it wouldn't be safe for him to get that involved. That being said, however, Ethan really did care for Sammy a lot. They had gotten pretty close over the years and Ethan had taken the time to learn Basic Sign Language in order to communicate with her. It made conversations with groups easier for her too because he could tell other people what she was saying. Granted, he wasn't very practiced in it at first, but now he was pretty decent at reading the signs. Heck, he had spent a good chunk of his summers practicing Quidditch and learning how to sign. Now, he was pretty good at both. Well, he was more than good at Quidditch, but that was a different topic entirely.
Now he was walking beside her on the way to this Room of Requirement for some fancy dancy meeting. He wasn't surprised when she said Ronan was involved, that made him feel a little better about it. He knew these guys wouldn't let him get murdered, at least not on their watch. They would probably talk about ways to protect other muggle borns too. Ethan knew this was a good idea, even if he was a little freaked out about it. But what muggle born wouldn't be? As he walked next to Sammy he noticed that she actually looked a little queasy. He raised a quizzical brow but she answered his question by signing that she was nervous. He smiled back at her and signed, not as fast as she could though, 'You've got this, trust me' he encouraged. as they approached the door. He glanced around as she did, not entirely sure what they were looking for at first but then he remembered that they were indeed being sneaky.
He stepped into the room behind her, but that didn't make it so he had a bad view. He was quite a bit taller than her so he could see over her head. There were a lot more people there then he had really expected either. Though, the people themselves didn't surprise him. Maryn, Ronan, Colleen. He actually was a little surprised to see Dominque there, a girl a year younger than he in his own house. He turned to Sammy and signed 'that's Dominique Weasley, she's in my house' he explained. He figured that Athena probably already knew who Colleen was, considering she was Ronans sister and a Gryffindor. Maryn was captain of the Hufflepuff team so Sammy would know of her too.
He raised an eyebrow at Colleen first after that and waved as he shut the door behind them. "Hey Leeny," he smirked as he spoke, then he shifted his gaze to Ronan, "Is this where the party is?"

Alice was always one to do the right thing, just never alone. When James discovered the first body, Alice was devastated. James didn't deserve to have to live with that memory. And neither did Sammy. When she found the second body, Alice was horrified. It was only a matter of time before someone else was killed and Alice didn't want anyone stumbling upon another dead body. No one deserved to have to experience that. So when Ronan told her about this little group that he and Sammy were orchestrating, Alice didn't hesitate to accept a chance to help her friends.
The blonde was pacing the corridor in which she had heard the Room of Requirement resided. She had been doing this a while now but no door had shown itself. Alice was beginning to grow very frustrated until she heard footsteps coming down the corridor. She froze and waited for them to show themselves. On the opposite end of the corridor, she recognized Sammy and the Ravenclaw prefect, Ethan, standing in front of a door that had just appeared out of nowhere. They stepped through and Alice blinked. Quickly, Alice walked to where the door had appeared and then vanished again. She stared at the wall, thinking on wanting to get in desperately. She blinked again then found the door suddenly in front of her. The right side of her mouth flickered briefly ino a smile before entering the Room of Requirement.
Upon entering, Alice looked around. The Finnigans were here, as well as one of James's cousins, Dominique. Alice debated who to go and stand by. She figured Ronan would be busy leading, she didn't know Colleen or Dominique well enough, and after that night in the common room, Alice stuck to avoiding Maryn. She looked at Sammy, who was next to Ethan. Alice didn't particularly care for the Ravenclaw, but she liked Sammy so she made her way over to them. Quietly, she made her place next to the Gryffindor. She nodded a "hello" and flashed her a smile before signing the greeting. Alice did not know much sign language, but she knew enough basics to communicate well enough with Sammy.

What the hell was she doing?! Absolutely nothing and minding her own business when she was hugged from behind her, it had been Dom. One of her favorite cousins. Dom told Anna about a secret group of students meeting today and that they could use someone like Anna who was great for getting information, well because Anna knew almost everyone’s secrets in the school. So Anna decided to go ahead and indulge her cousin and attend the meeting to see what all of the fuss was about. Anna watched from the shadows as everyone entered the famous Room of Requirement. By the looks of it she was going to be the only Slytherin in that meeting. This was perfectly fine with Anna since she hated almost all of her housemates and they in turn hated her.
Never one to pass up the opportunity to use her Slytherin mind Anna stepped out of the shadows and approached the door. She tentatively pushed the door open and took a few steps to get into the room. After she had closed the door behind her Anna looked around and saw everyone over in one area of the room. But what caught her attention was the look that Ronan gave her upon entering. He smiled at her and nodded his head in greeting. Well now that she was blushing a little bit Anna ducked her head and diverted her gaze to take in the room.
The next thing that caught her attention was the complete potions lab that the room had provided for them. She quickly walked over there and began looking at all of the books and also the ingredients that had been provided for their use. Potions were one of the things that Anna enjoyed the most. Taking a seat, Anna grabbed a book off of the shelf that was titled “A complete guide to the uses of magical and non-magical ingredients” Anna was beside herself, this particular book was very rare since it listed not just common ingredients but the uncommon ones, and the rare ones as well. This would be an immense help to her since it also described what the ingredients did in a lengthy detail. She opened it and began reading the book until the meeting started.

Colleen was still on Ronan's back, forcing him to give her an involuntary piggyback ride. She certainly wasn't getting off of him, not unless he reacted to it and acknowledge her presence.
Alas, the two siblings were no longer alone when Dominique entered. Finally, their first person! Colleen knew that the people would show up, but seeing them do so with her very own eyes gave her more confidence in the success of their meeting. Seeing it happen in real life boosted up her hopes. "Hey Dom!" she greeted the ever so pretty Weasley girl with a smile. Colleen knew her brother, Louis, but if she was correct, Louis wasn't joining. Such a shame, she thought. "It's great to see you here! Although next time remember to bow down to King Ronan, okay?" Colleen giggled at that. Of course she was joking, because Ronan was no king. Although, he did look like he would make a good one.
The next two people to enter were Sammy and Ethan, and their presence convinced her even more about how seriously the Rising was being taken. Sammy and Ethan were in Ronan's year and they were also his friends who he knew better. Colleen was ashamed that she didn't know sign language, but she smiled at the beautiful dark-haired Gryffindor and nodded in greeting. As for Ethan, she grinned at his nickname for her. Most people called her Colly, so she thought that this different pet name for her was fun. "Fancy seeing you here too, Ethan," she said. She chuckled at his quip at Ronan, but she let her brother answer that, for it had been addressed to him, of course.
And then came Alice Longbottom, who Colleen didn't know all that much. She knew that Alice took classes with Ronan, though. She waved to her, but because Alice seemed like a quiet person she didn't see the need to say anything. And then came in another Weasley, a Slytherin. Colleen knew that there were Slytherins who were just cunning and ambitious but nice at the same time, and if Annalise was part of the Rising she must be a decent Slytherin.
She was about to greet Annalise, but then her brother greeted the girl first and Colleen watched with interest how Annalise blushed, ducked her head, and averted her gaze. Her eyes brightened with pleasant surprise and she had to suppress a giggle. Oh, the pretty dark-haired lass was infatuated with her brother! Colleen thought that was quite a fetching idea. She was a pretty dark-haired maiden, and her brother was a tall, handsome, blonde knight in shining armor. Sounded like the stuff for medieval romances. She thought that they matched perfectly!
She watched Annalise with interest. The girl was now looking at books and ingredients...so, she was the serious, quiet, studious type...well, that was quite Slytherin-like. Her brother, the mischievous, pranking, funny, sporty Gryffindor and the reserved Slytherin Weasley? She thought it would be cute to see her brother pursue her, and not to mention, the Finnigans were well acquainted with the Weasleys. But that was Ronan's choice and Colleen couldn't get involved, obviously. She could only watch it from the distance, but she hoped that it went well for the two of them!
