the rush of wind and falling leaves.
DESPITE NOT FINDING ENOUGH TIME to grieve herself, Sari knew she still...seemingly wanted to be there for Maddie. In all of the time she had known the other Hufflepuff, she hadn't really seen Maddie speak to other people. It was obviously just an assumption but the Fawley knew Maddie wouldn't usually be open to discuss her problems or in this case, her situation with just anyone.
At the mention that her parents only visited once per week, Sari gritted her teeth quietly, looking away in understanding. Her own family was the same, as some of her younger siblings would join her to visit Laurel's grave, but her father and even her mother were never bothered to even go with her. "That...Obviously sucks but...I guess it's better than nothing?..." Sari tried to find the best of the situation but given all of the circumstances...She felt bad for the Hufflepuff.
Humming quietly at the other's answer, Sari tapped on the table to fill the silence between them. She couldn't do much exactly, except from simply just egging her on. "I guess...But it also gives you another year to prepare for it all...See if you decide to change your mind for any of your future goals...Or if any options come around instead." Sari lifted her hand to scratch at the back of her neck as she paused before speaking yet again. "I know you'll do your best regardless.." Sari's smile then was genuine, compared to her usual forced one. Maddie might of generally been a mean person, but with any goal in mind, Sari knew she could do it. "Hopefully...We're also 'friends' by then.."
