HOLIDAY POST CHALLENGE

Hey everyone! Well aren’t we lucky that Christmas IC lines up with Christmas OOC?! In all seriousness, here’s a fun challenge for everyone that wants to participate! Below is a list of “challenges”, or rather, things to do in posts! By doing these things, and reporting them, you earn a raffle ticket! Some of these can even earn multiple raffle tickets (will state if so). 

At the end of the event staff will randomly chose several winners for a number of prizes! The prizes are as followed:

• 4 winners will win character spotlights in the banner, on the IV tab. (we haven't used this in a while, so might as well! )
  
• 3 winners will win custom single character banners made by Sora. (Some examples of what I've done are here, here, and here) These take quite a bit of work, so I don't do them often!
• 2 winners will win skill masteries without post requires (item in shop IS included)

• 1 winner will win a special custom ability (people that earned one last month are not eligible for this)
• Additional prizes may also be rewarded, depending on participating, trends, etc. Basically, there will be secret rewards I'm not sharing on how to win, but they won't be raffle wins.

Now, like always, a few guidelines of how to participate.

• Only posts dated Mid November and all of December count (cause... this is holiday stuff. don't be a monster and do holiday stuff too early)
• One shots and past threads don't count (cause... why you doing christmas stuff in IC june?)
• You can complete multiple challenges in a single thread BUT you can only complete one challenge per post. (aka, you can't drink chocolate, bake cookies, and sing christmas songs all in one post and get credit for all three.)
• Most of these challenges are 100% repeatable! (aka, you can get credit for drinking hot coco more then once) But not all of them. (aka, christmas stuff IS, but new year stuff ISN'T. A few others aren't as well. Those that are repeatable though CAN'T repeat in the same thread (aka you can't claim drinking hot drinks more then once in a thread.) Unless it's a multi post reward (like the hats or ugly sweater where you'll get extra raffle tickets if you keep it on for multiple posts).
• When you report your completions you have to give me links directly to the post  (You can get this link by clicking on the gear by the post, then link to post, then link to this post in this thread.). If you don't give me a direct link, I am not counting it cause I'm not  gunna go looking for it.

THE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGES:

• Write a letter to Santa
• Attend a Tree lighting ceremony
• Go to a Christmas festival/market (NOT the party)
• Go to the Windsor Christmas party (only once per character.)
• Bake/decorate cookies
• Drink eggnog/hot chocolate/cider/hot toddy/other christmas appropriate drinks (must be HOT)
• Decorate a christmas tree
• Chop down a christmas tree (x2 if you use an actual ax and NO magic.)
• Decorate a gingerbread house
• Write christmas cards (x2 if you actually send it via owl!)
• Decorate a christmas ornament (x2 if you give it to someone)
• Roast chestnuts on an open fire
• Sing a Christmas song
• Make paper snowflakes
• Go ice skating
• Watch a Christmas movie
• Volunteer at the Werewolf place, the orphanage or donate blood at the blood bank (to help poor souls during the holiday season)
• Decorate your house or business with Christmas decorations
• Go caroling with at least 2 other characters (different then just singing a christmas song)
• Read a Christmas story/poem
• Wrap presents
• Use an advent calendar
• Wear a Santa hat (x3, can get triple points if you wear it for more then 3 IC posts in a row)
• Wear an ugly Christmas sweater (x3, can get triple points if you wear it for more then 3 IC posts in a row)
• Have a snowball fight
• Kiss someone (doesn’t have to be on the lips!) under mistletoe
• Eat a candy cane
• Visit Santa (with your own child, with a younger sibling, with a friend and their child, whatever, go take a kid to see santa!)
• Go Christmas shopping
• Go sledding
• Open 1 Christmas eve present
• Opens presents on Christmas
• Have a big Christmas feast
• Eat Christmas pudding

THE NEW YEARS EVE CHALLENGES:
P.S. New years eve challenges can only be completed ONCE per character, since you literally can’t be multiple places at the same exact time (you can complete them multiple times, just not as the same characters)

• Attend or host a New Years eve party/gathering
• Stay up to midnight
• Kiss someone after midnight
• Set off a noisemaker (inside) after midnight
• Set off fireworks (outside) after midnight
• Drink sparkling cider/wine/juice
• Make a new years resolution
• Make a toast
• Make corny “since last year” jokes after midnight
• Participate in the count down (with friends, on the tv, whatever.)
• Play games (any)
• Wear a new years hat/headband (has to have 2026 on it!)

HOW TO TURN IN

To turn in your raffle tickets it'll be easy! Just use the template below. You can report as many at a time as you like, or report them as you do them. I don't care, whatever makes most sense you to! As long as it's all reported by the deadline, as I will NOT accept any more posts after the deadline.

THE KRAMPUS

To have some extra fun, I will also be unleashing a Krampus on the site once every day of the challenge! To be fair to all our time zones, this will be at COMPLETE RANDOM. It could be 2 am, could be 2 pm. You never know! The way it will work is I will post the gif below in a post somewhere on the board. It will be edited into a post. I will then announce in the HOLIDAY-POST-TURN-IN discord chat what category it's in. The first member to find it and post the link to the post in discord will win 10 raffle tickets. (don't worry, I'll edit it out after it's  found)
