As you all probably noticed, we're approaching the season of love IC. We've just passed it OOC but well, we're hopefully still content with full hearts and a lot of discount chocolate.
Now to have something fun for our characters to do, we've decided (on popular demand/request) to hold a little poetry contest. IC this will be held by witch weekly and the winner of the competition will get their poem published along with a grand prize of 100 galleons!
This goes for both IC and OOC. The second place will win an enchanted 2 way mirror for themselves and their secret crush. Third place will win 25G.
Every character that participates will also get 10G (though this naturally is OOC only).
So now you might wonder? How do I join this wonderful competition?!
It's very simple really.
1. Write a poem from the perspective of one of your characters.
2. PM said poem to me (Mod Seph) or other staff members.
3. Wait.
Staff will pick the winners and publish them in an article joined by some witty commentary from the people at witch weekly.
You can submit your poems until the 25th of February.
Staff will take time to pick a winner. The AIM (no promise though) is to announce the winner by the 28th.
Any poems that do not win prizes will still be published separately, unless you'd specifically ask us not to. If your poem wins it will definitively be published.
