Sutton walked into the crowded club. It was New Year's Eve and it seemed she was celebrating it on her own. She got the night off from work and Sutton realized she didn't really have friends or anyone. Her sister is busy with work and her parents, well they were muggle's and didn't even want her to be in the magical realm with everything that is going in. She was wearing a gold starkly dress with spaghetti straps, the dress ended just a few inches above her knees and fitted her well, showing her figure. She wore flats because let's be honest, drinking and heels with Sutton's clumsy side, it was not a great combo. She sat at the bar and ordered a drink. She didn't drink much but it was a special occasion. "Cheers..to me and hopefully new friends or maybe even someone special." She said to herself with a huge smile to her face. rose harriet granger-weasley

Rosie wasn’t sure what drew her to the violet hound that evening, perhaps, though she would never admit it, she didn’t expect it would be a place that she would run into Brandon at. She knew he sometimes played at Club Indigo, but she hadn’t ever heard him say anything about the Violet Hound while they were dating. She had expected to hang out with Albus for new years eve, but it didn’t work out. The two of them were just busier than ever with the discovery of the island and while they lived together she felt like she hardly had seen him over the last few days.
She hadn’t really thought about how crowded the place might be, but she stepped into the pub after leaving the Daily Prophet office just minutes before and was greeted by possibly hundreds of people all drinking and laughing and dancing. It wasn’t entirely her scene but she didn’t want to be the pathetic one spending new years eve at home alone drinking a blood infused cocktail while watching the world pass by out her window. She made it to the counter and ordered a glass of red wine, not really feeling like getting drunk but instead just wanting something to hold in her hands. It arrived to her just before the clock hit midnight and she joined in the group toast but didn’t really have anything come to mind for herself. Resolutions weren’t really her thing. “That sounds like a good wish for the year.” She said offhandedly to the woman on the stool beside her, she looked vaguely familiar, but Rosie had always kept to herself before now so she couldn’t recall a name.

Sutton didn't even noticed the girl that happened to sit next to her. She was about to take a sip of her drink when the woman spoke and agreed with her new resolutions. She turned to the woman raising her glass to her, "Cheers?" she said with a nice smiled. Maybe this would be her year for making friends. Sutton has been having a hard time making friends lately. "Um do I know you?" she asked, the girl looked very familiar but Sutton couldn't figure out where. Sutton was always getting into trouble so life was just pretty much a blur for her.. rose harriet granger-weasley

Rosie offered an easy cheer to the girl when she raised her glass. The Hufflepuff had always been friendly to everyone, even strangers, it was part of what got her into her whole situation in the first place. Rosie had once been a girl who had more friends than she could count, she wouldn’t say that she had been popular, but she was at least known, mostly due to her own inability to let anyone pass by without saying hi and wishing them a wonderful day. Now, she was just starting to get used to the idea that people didn’t despise her because she was a vampire. “Oh um, probably. If you went to Hogwarts at least.” she admitted with a nod. She found the girl familiar as well. It was hard not to at least know the face of everyone you went to school with. “Rosie Williams, I was a Hufflepuff.” she introduced herself after taking a sip from her wine glass.
