She asked if he objected to vegetarian food and he instantly shook his head. It wasn't really a problem to him. He had never been a huge meat eater to begin with, always eating whatever meal was presented on the table, meat or no meat. He wasn't a picky eater, apart from his allergies but he figured that she'd probably considered those. If not he'd probably not be able to stay all that long for sake of being in pain and being a bit of a horrible guest. "I don't mind, as long as it doesn't have cows milk in it." Rather safe than sorry in his mind. It wasn't like he asked it because of being a picky eater anyway. It was a health thing for him.
She said she had plenty of books if that was his preference, but sitting together reading in silence hardly seemed like the kind of thing to start off with, especially since he really wanted to get her know her better. Yet he appreciated the offer, as it was an easy option if they found nothing else to do. It was when the offer came to do something else in stead that he smiled, a hint of intrigue in his eyes. "I can't say that I have." It was easy enough to admit, as he'd never really sought it out. Though as his job suggested, he was quite adventurous and never really had minded trying something new, even if if it was dangerous. "But I'm willing to try," he admitted easily. It probably was a lot harder than it looked, but that just meant it was a challenge. A different kind of adventure, fewer traps but not by default safer than his normal passtimes at work.

Right, the milk thing. Eeva had almost forgotten, but his reminder brought Hannah's memories into focus. He was allergic to milk produced by cows. That's didn't really pose a problem to her though, there were plenty of other animals that produced milk. Though, to be honest, Eeva wasn't even a big milk drinker in general. But when she did drink it? She went for reindeer first. "That shouldn't be a problem," she answered. She sat up fully, covering a large yawn. The jarvey, of course, was very unhappy at her movement. He tumbled into her lap, and unleashed a slew of swear words in English and Brasillic. Eeva ignored the swearing tirade but she did at least reach down to scratch the creature on his head. That seemed to pacify him enough for his swearing to go from almost screeching to angry grumbling under his breath.
Eeva knew flying on horses wasn't actually a common practice in the UK. The British seemed to prefer brooms. So it didn't surprise her that he'd never ridden a flying horse. It could be dangerous, of course, but Eeva was probably the safest person to fly with. Since sh could communicate and understand the creatures, she had a bit more control over what they might do, but could also react if she heard anything concerning. She smiled as he spoke, glad to hear his willingness. "Then we can do that after dinner." She got to her feet, scooping up the Harvey into her arms in the process. She crossed to Ilija and practically tossed the Harvey onto his shoulders. The creature was quick to balance himself, but he didn't look pleased at being thrown onto someone. "Watch him for me while I start something." The jarvey was actually glaring at Ilija now, as if blaming the man for his master abandoning him. Which is exactly what his thoughts were telling Eeva. She started walking back into the cave, heading for the kitchen. "He's fine to come inside if you want, just don't let him in the kitchen. He likes to steal food when I cook." She called back to Ilija as she took the pot off the hook over the fireplace. She quickly started the fire and with a wave of her hand a knife animated and started to chop up vegetables.
