Despite having grown up in a very tight knit community Eeva didn't see much of her family, or even other druids often now-a-days. It wasn't because she felt disconnected from her heritage and beliefs though. Far from it. She was, in many ways, still deeply connected to her druid roots. It was simply because she could not bring herself to return home. Home for her wasn't Hy-Brasil. Home was Stuorraguovssahasat. The remote Druid and Sami community. Eeva hadn't been home in 9 years. And while she'd been to Hy-Brasil a few times it wasn't the same. Those that knew her history though (though those people were very rare) understood why though. Home, while had many wonderful memories, had become a very dark place for her. It meant she didn't see her family often though, as many of them were still back in Finland. Recently though a few had started to leave and explore the world. In particular her Taikalainen cousins.
Still, due to schedules and work she still didn't see them often enough. Petri in particular was one that always seemed to be a challenge t o get their schedules to line up. They'd finally seemed to find a day they both had off though: today. Eeva had invited her younger cousin to her home, a unique cave in which she'd magically carved out to suit her needs. She knew that her home would be the most inviting for other druids, as it was built into nature, and was also cut off from modern society. In many ways it would quite similar to the homes on Hy-Brasil, though with her own decor style. The only downside was that she hadn't built a sauna. She'd felt that a sauna deep in a cave might not be the wises decision, so that was more a task for down the road. THough that might remind her too much of home... She was still debating.
She'd let Petri know how to find her home and a time. As she waited for his arrival she worked in her kitchen, sorting through a few different tea mixtures to decide which one to prepare. She'd left the door ajar so that her jarvey could come in and out as he pleased (though he had the important task of catching any bugs that tried to enter the cave. She didn't need them creeping around. Not that she minded their presence. She simply had an... ailment and preferred to keep a tight control over what got inside the cave because of it. The Jarvey had been crawling around one of the flower boxes by the door, inspecting the flowers she'd planted a few days before, when he spotted the tall redhaired man approach. The jarvey leapt from the box and scurried a few feet forward on the grass. He balanced on his hind legs to inspect the approaching stranger, trying to decide if this was who his master was waiting for. Once satisfied it must, he dropped back to all fours and raced inside the open door, loudly proclaiming "Intruder! Intruder!" in brasilic. So loudly that no doubt Petri would hear. The creature wasn't being rude, of course, just alerting it's owner to the arrival of her cousin. The creature just simply didn't know the words to convey what he really meant. While Eeva would have understood him if he didn't speak, and instead just chirped, or simply thought it, Jarvey's were copy cats. THey loved to use human languages.
Eeva set down her tea choices and turned as the jarvey raced into the kitchen and leapt. Eeva, knowing instinctively from it's thoughts what it was about to do, caught the jarvey in her arms. He then scurried up, and nestled himself on her shoulders at the back of her neck, as Eeva made her way out of the kitchen and to the living room then out the door. She smiled as she saw him. Though it had been quite some time she recognized her younger cousin with ease. "Petri, when did you get so tall?" She greeted in brasilic.

Despite living in central London, Petri much preferred the wide expanse of the countryside. When he'd moved from Finland for a change (which was still terrifying to him), he'd gone all in on the changes front. He'd rented a flat that he was sharing with a young architect. They'd had their ups and downs, especially considering her father and siblings were werwolves, but Jules had become like another sister to Petri. She needed it anyways - she had some sort of lung condition that Petri couldn't figure out. His herbal concoctions had helped her greatly, as well as the fresh air, but Petri suspected that she needed a lot more time and space to heal.
Petri had even found love, or something close to it at least. Ana intrigued him, and he was certain that he was one of the only people allowed to call her that. She was so different, such an immense change from his previous life, but it was refreshing. He liked the way she took charge, how decisive she was and the way her dark eyes twinkled in the light of the moon. In just a few months, Petri had gone from doubting his decision to join his sister in England to embracing his new way of life fully.
It was jarring then to receive a letter from his cousin, Eeva, inviting Petri to her den. Petri hadn't seen Eeva in a long time, though through no fault of her own. She had developed a taste for the world, sort of the same way Petri had. But Eeva had discovered it at a much younger age. She'd run away from their community to join the circus as a performer. Petri had never understood her love for the spotlight, preferring to work in the background himself, but if Eeva was happy, so was he. He hadn't expected her to put down roots anywhere after being on the road for so long, though apparently she had found a nice place.
Petri apparated to the address his cousin had indicated at the appropriate time, leaving directions to Jules to continue taking the tonic he had left on the kitchen counter. The moment he popped back into existence, there was a cacophony of noise, all emitted from a weasel like creature that skittered away. With a chuckle, Petri understood what the creature was saying, though it was not speaking any muggle language. He followed the sounds of alarm into a vast cave, peering around at the natural walls that curved around the door and created an entrance to his cousin's home. "Eeva!" Petri exclaimed in delight, scooping up his cousin in his overlong arms and spinning her around. "You look well! Thank you for the invite," replied Petri in Brasilic. "How did you find this place? Or did you create it yourself?"

The last time she'd seen Petri she was sure she'd been taller then him. But she recognized him immediately because of the resemblance to his father and mother. It reminded Eeva of just how much she missed. He'd been a child when she left. Though she'd expect a warm greeting she hadn't expected one as enthusiastic as scooping her up and twirling her in the air. She laughed, bracing her hands on his arms as he spun her, and then set her down. He was practically beaming. "Please, Petri, you're the one that looks well!" She paused, still amazing at how much she had to tilt her head back to look at him. "Your poor mother, is Pertu just as tall?" She teased.
Eeva motioned for him to make himself at home. "Please, come sit. Vaito, run along." The last part of her words were directed to the jarvey that seemed far to comfortable around her shoulders. The jarvey raised it's head to give her a bitter look. Vaito, of course, in usual jarvey phase swore at her in Brasillic, before leaping off her shoulders and scurrying out the door to go back to it's business. "I found the base of it, with a little magic of course I made it more suitable for living," she explained as if it hadn't been any trouble. It was a rather typical druid home, if you thought about it. Taking what nature gave you to gill your needs. Though she'd chosen a cave before of other reasons. Her ability to hear the thoughts of creatures had definitely made much of life a headache at times. So, the cave was often her safe haven from the constant invading thoughts.

Petri had to crouch to get through the entryway of Eeva's home, and stood towering over her. He beamed at their greeting. "I have missed you," said Petri in their native tongue. She had to tilt her head back to see his face, warranting a rumbling laugh from him. "Unfortunately yes. How she managed children after us is a big question!" Petri boomed with another chuckle. "You'd think maybe we had giant's blood, but then again, we're not quite as tall as Kalju," said Petri, referring to another druid from their community. Petri had heard that Kalju was dating a muggleborn witch now - and was working at a zoo. Hopefully, Kalju could convince the owners of the zoo that the animals were best fit for sweeping landscapes.
With a nod, Petri followed Eeva to sit. He snorted at the curse the jarvey chirped back to Eeva. "Pleasant as ever," said Petri with a grin. He asked how Eeva had found the cave, and she explained. "You have outdone yourself. Family would be very pleased," said Petri. Petri settled deeper into his seat, and fixed Eeva with his gaze. "You join circus. Nomad. How has it gone?" he enquired, tilting his head slightly.
