In the wake of The Final Battle, Hogwarts Castle is undergoing repairs even as a new term approaches. Despite this, Hogwarts is expected to welcome both new students and old when it re-opens in September. An expert team of witches and wizards will also remain on-site to continue restorations for some time to come.
Senior students whose N.E.W.T studies were interrupted by the Death Eaters' takeover of the school have been invited to return to complete their education.
Meanwhile, many of Riddle's followers have fled the Wizarding United Kingdom and are on the loose across Magical Europe and even in the muggle world. Some seek to continue the work their Dark Lord began, while others merely wish to avoid the repercussions of their actions.
