Virva had an appointment today for sake of the costume she'd be wearing for her new job. Why they called it a costume was beyond her as the word didn't mean a lot to her. The additional English lessons had yet to start for her and she'd only barely scratched the surface of everything it meant to start a new career with a baby on the way. She felt like a giant balloon and was not looking forward to sitting still a large part of what remained of her pregnancy. She wanted to be busy but everybody kept telling her to calm down and slow down. Well, everybody but her relations that were not Petri and Aidan. Most of them seemed to understand her need to keep moving as she'd never really been good at sitting still to begin with. So she'd went ahead and asked to move up the meeting with the costume designer for the show. While exact measurements were... mostly impossible she figured she could at least make sure that the person was using only natural fabrics because she'd curse herself before wearing any sort of plastic and had hopefully made that clear enough when she took the job. She was fairly sure it was in her contract. She wasn't sure if the person had been briefed about her requirements ahead of time but Virva certainly hoped they had been. She waddled in and shot some truly murderous glances at people that instantly gave her the 'oh my, a pregnant lady' look. She hated that look. Yes, she should be on her feet and not resting and she most certainly did not need coddling. "I have appointment." She said rather crisply to the lady behind the reception desk. "With the head costume maker. I'm Virvatuli." At least her name was unique enough not to cause confusion there. Not ot mentioned that her usual clothes and accessories were plenty of warning she wasn't quite the common young woman. The all natural materials, today a blend of cotton and leather, almost hid the twigs, flowers and bones that made up most of her ornamental jewels. She was without a doubt a druid and not one that was used to blending in, but she knew she needed to look a little more... approachable on the little boxes. She was told to wait in the seating area and noticed the routine as they offered her a cup of tea, so she gladly accepted. The liquid was perfectly drinkable by the time somebody came to pick her up. She was delivered into a space with a lot of fabrics and multiple mannequins. Virva looked around as she spied some materials around the room that made her toes curl up in mild disgust but she tried to keep an even face. At least not everything looked.... horrible. In terms of design almost everything looked extremely gorgeous but the materials? They were almost offensive to the young druid girl. She then looked as a tall blonde approached her and she smiled. At least she seemed nice enough, and young. Virva had noticed this often meant a lot more flexible in mainlander culture as old people for some reason thought they knew better than everybody by life experience. Idiots, clearly, but that was nothing new. "Terve." She said and held out her hand to shake that of the woman. "I'm Virvatuli, nice to meet you. I'm here to go over kostumes?" She said, trying her best to figure out what on earth they were supposed to discuss, outside of materials. Well, probably that she could properly move in them and that they had a few charms to make them more compatible with the job... hanna horváth
