One could lose their mind in art. Or at least their thoughts and worries. Selene had slept rather poorly that night, chased by visions and nightmares until she couldn't tell the two apart anymore. It had been almost a full year since she'd been in that state and she hated it. So she'd hidden herself away at a magical arts museum, longing to forget herself for a moment.
On her phone she'd put on music she considered soothing. Not that it was the usual quiet classical music she normally had on to focus her mind. It was very different music by some vampire musician. She wasn't sure yet how she felt about this change, but she wasn't sure of anything that day.
Some noise by the door and the devil himself stepped in, as if summoned by her thoughts combined with his music. She blinked stupidly a few times. Then she smiled slightly, tempted to try and see how he'd react if she spoke up. She opted against it. She didn't want to be seer anymore after all. "You look like Mordrain." She told him in stead, not caring if it made her look a fool. "I love some of his songs, but I haven't heard them all." Nor was she fully sure she would. One of the small choices.

It had been a number of months since Emrys and Xantha had moved in to their new apartment together. This three bedroom penthouse apartment had plenty of space in which art had been placed by his interior designer But for one reason or another, Emrys decided to go and look to see if anything new struck his fancy. He needed to replace at least one painting spot. If he didn't see anything he liked here, he would just commission something. He needed something that wouldn't be cheeky and get on the residence nerves.
Being in a public place for private reasons, Emrys had a body guard not far from him, keeping their eye on him from a distance, he entered the gallery. He himself wore dark wash jeans, a black hoodie, with the hood up, and sunglasses on.
It wasn't long until a young blonde girl approached him. So he looked like Mordrain huh? He chuckled, giving the girl his patented fanged grin that was plastered on fangirls walls everywhere. He took off his sunglasses. Should he have some fun? "Thanks, I hear that guy's quite the Casanova." He was very used to people approaching him. Often wanting pictures and autographs. Though this girl mentioned only hearing some of his songs. Was she a new fan? "Only some of his songs? He can have quite a range of styles. What's your favorite song so far?"

Selene wasn't too much of a dumb blonde, although she sometimes acted the part to avoid people that'd get on her nerves otherwise. So as he flashed a fanged grin at her she suspected that not even his look-a-like was likely to wear those kinds of things out in the world when it wasn't related to work somehow. Maybe if they were also an insane fan but all in all, he didn't imagine those tried to hide any part of themselves. Not to mention the eyes when he took off his sunglasses. Lenses never gave the same vivid effect as reality did. So she gave him a half smile in amusement as she presumed him to speak of himself in third person. Whatever his reasons, she could play along. "I haven't done research on him." She admitted with a half shrug. "But from what I understand it's not by default uncommon in showbusiness."
He mentioned Mordrain to have quite a range of styles and it explained quite a bit to her. Like why she wasn't a huge fan of everything she'd heard and why there was quite a range of songs that she actually did enjoy. She wasn't overly familiar with any music from this century, all in all. It came with the field of enjoying classical pieces of music most of all. "Mostly the balads so far. I usually listen mostly to classical music so I'm hardly an expert. My favourite piece is Bewitched. I really like the melody lines in it." She said with a bit of a nearly dreamy smile. One could sway to those. She didn't really want to bother him, but she also was quite unsure what one talked about with music stars. Well, aside from music?

Whether or not the girl believed him to be Mordrain or a simple look alike was still unclear. "Done your research? Don't tell me your a stalker in the making." He stated in a mocking tone, though inwardly rather cautious about this. He had plenty of stalkers already, the last thing the vampire needed was another one. Especially with his now living with a muggle girl. "But they do say that the limelight can corrupt even the purest of soles." He shrugged, almost excusing his outrageous behavior. Emrys never felt like he had to justify himself, though it seemed like it wasn't uncommon for others to feel like they needed some form of explanation.
The girl mentioned that his ballads were her favorite. While he had a range, he definitely had a few styles that he tended to prefer. It definitely was a good reason why she wasn't one of his die hard fans. She spoke of one of his songs with a fanciful look on her face. He could tell how much she enjoyed the song. He smiled longingly, remembering the time he created it, and even the process of translating that song. "That is a good one, isn't it. I'm curious, what about classical music do you like so much?" He was aware of all styles, and even could play some classical pieces, provided he had the sheet music, from times of practice, but they always seemed so boring to him.
