It's time for a site-wide event for all to enjoy, one we're calling Cupid-a-Palooza (sponsored by Jimbo Blishwick, naturally). This event will run all day long IC on Monday, February 14, 2028, which also happens to be Valentine's Day for all you lovebirds out there. Your characters will be able to enjoy a festival held in Hogsmeade for the occasion, run primarily by the students of the three schools that now make up Hogwarts (with requisite supervision by school staff members, of course). The festival will feature games, stalls, food vendors, and more. Of course, the businesses in Hogsmeade will be open as usual for all your lovey-dovey needs, including Madam Puddifoot's.
In addition, this festival might be a nice distraction for some of your students out there, since we're also making this event double as an opportunity for parent-teacher conferences. (Disclaimer: We can't promise that there won't be any Howlers as a result!)
