DESPITE LIVING WITH HER GIRLFRIEND, Bryelle couldn't wait for her to come home to break the news. It had to be revealed there and now. 'There' being at Sami's workplace and now being...right now. Pushing open the doors to the Leaky Cauldron with a wide grin, the Goyle scanned her surroundings, knowing that Sami usually worked the front desk.

Walking further in with a pout due to her girlfriend not being in sight, the brunette leaned over the counter, speaking to the other staff member about Sami's whereabouts. Being told that she was just finishing up her break and ready to come out, Bryelle nodded, turning in her spot so she could scan her surroundings once more.

Thankfully, it didn't take long for the Warsame to make her appearance and as the Goyle locked eyes with her girlfriend, she made her way over with a wide grin and open arms. "Sami!!!"

Working at the Leaky Cauldron was better than working at C'est La Vie had been. Sami could say that with certainty, having come to recognize that her younger self had severely romanticized what it would be like to spend her time working at the hottest boutique in Hogsmeade. That didn't mean that the combination pub and inn that served as the gateway into Diagon Alley offered the greatest jobs ever—or that dealing with guests' reservations (and pretty much every issue pertaining to them) was always a fun time—but Sami had learned to live with it in a way that she never had when it came to folding clothing over and over again.

She typically didn't spend her workdays doing anything that she thought would have been of much interest to anyone else, and that included her breaks. Mostly, Sami was just glad to have a little chunk of time during which she didn't have to deal with anyone or be ready to go in "customer service" mode. In the back, she was free, theoretically… Until it was time to get back to work. And then she wasn't.

On that particular day, Sami headed back out to finish her shift to find that the person standing opposite her across the front desk of the most established pub in that corner of the magical world was none other than Bryelle Goyle, her girlfriend, grinning with arms outstretched. "Sami!!!"

Sami smiled back at Bryelle, slightly confused by her sounding so upbeat but delighted to see her nonetheless. She moved from behind the desk to hug her. "Hi! What are you doing here?"

SQUEEZING HER GIRLFRIEND AS THEY embraced, Bryelle's grin only grew wider. She had missed Sami, and determined so all from a simple hug. She had missed her in the morning, considering she needed to wake up rather early for her training, and it usually wasn't until the late afternoon or evening that the Goyle would get home.

Pulling back a little, Bryelle felt like she couldn't contain her excitement. "Why?" The Goyle began, feigning a pout. "Did you expect to just see me at home?..Can't I visit my pretty girlfriend while she's working?.." Bryelle had always been a tease, even when the two Hogwarts alums were 'enemies'. "I just..wanted you to be the first..well technically second to know something.." Renard had received the news first of course, he was her brother and seemingly father-figure no doubt.

"Why?" Bryelle pouted her lips, looking like a little kid begging for a visit to Honeydukes. There was no way that she was actually upset, though, given the grin that had been on her face moments before. Instead, she was clearly doing it for dramatic effect. "Did you expect to just see me at home?" she asked. "Can't I visit my pretty girlfriend while she's working?"

Damn it. She was so cute with that look on her face, thought Sami. Although she hadn't ever said anything about not being able to visit her at work, her job at the Leaky Cauldron typically kept her too busy to entertain anyone other than the guests who needed something from her at the reception desk. It was sort of astounding how many ridiculous things could happen in the course of a typical day.

"Well, yeah…" Sami's voice trailed off, but she smiled at Bryelle. As long as she was responsible about it and didn't prove to be a distraction, she was welcome to be there. Sami knew her thoughts were making her seem like her mother, yet there were actual consequences to not doing things professionally in the working world, like getting sacked.

Bryelle hadn't only stopped by to keep her company through the rest of her shift, though. She had a reason for being there other than that, as she soon explained; she wanted her to be the first—no, second—person to know something.

So her girlfriend had come to her workplace not merely with a cute little pouty face but with news. It wasn't clear what that news was, but Sami was going to make a guess and assume that it wasn't bad news, or Bryelle wouldn't have been as happy as she was.

"Yes? How may I help you today, madam?" Sami asked Bryelle. She had switched back into the sort of voice she used with the guests at the Leaky Cauldron and hoped that doing so would keep her from running into any issues while on the clock, but she looked at her girlfriend knowingly.

SMILING JUST AS HARD AS Sami looked back at her, Bryelle knew there and then she felt so lucky to have Warsame as her girlfriend. Their..relations had started off on a rough patch no less, but she was glad they were able to result in dating in the end.

Taking a little step back as she remembered Sami was on the clock, the Goyle cleared her throat, looking around to see if there was anyone that could point out that she was technically distracting her girlfriend while she was working. "Um..I was wondering if a message could be delivered to my girlfriend?" She began, playing along while signaling with her eyes towards the counter, so Sami could keep up the act.

"Maybe it could be written down also? Just so it's delivered perfectly." She grinned. Bryelle loved to tease and play with Sami in the same way she used to when they were 'frienemies' and friends even.

Bryelle went right along with her change of tone and asked if a message could be delivered to her girlfriend. That was more than doable in itself; Sami did take down messages for people staying at the Leaky Cauldron as was necessary, and it absolutely helped matters that she was Bryelle's girlfriend. The message wouldn't need to be passed on to anyone in actuality, since they were both just playing around a little. Sami, not wanting to draw attention to her conversation with Bryelle, had to bite her lip to keep herself from laughing when she requested that she write down the message instead, just so it would be "delivered perfectly".

Sami kept speaking in the same more professional voice temporarily, even though she knew that she was opening up a proverbial can of worms. "Yes, of course," she answered as she tried to keep a straight face. "I'll get some parchment and a quill and ink." She stepped back behind the desk and did just that. "Would you like to write it yourself, or would you prefer to dictate it to me?"

AS SAMI SOMEWHAT DIRECTED HER back to the desk, Bryelle couldn't help but keep her grin fairly wide. "I'll dictate it to you Madam." That was another odd thing about Sami that Bryelle loved, she loved her handwriting. Even when she was writing notes or memos for herself, Sami's handwriting was still oddly cute.

Opening her mouth to begin her message, Bryelle leaned a little closer to ensure that Sami was writing the right thing. "The receiver is Samira Warsame. And the message is...her girlfriend - me, Bryelle Goyle, passed all of her HIT witch exams so she's due to become a full time HIT Witch this upcoming September.."

With a grin like a Cheshire cat, Bryelle confirmed that she would dictate the letter to her. Sami, quill freshly dipped in ink and poised to begin writing, nodded, somehow still keeping a straight face. Bryelle leaned in then before speaking, which made Sami question just how dirty her girlfriend was about to be.

"The receiver," she started, "is Samira Warsame." That much, Sami had figured, but she still wrote the information down as though she hadn't known. "And the message is… her girlfriend—me, Bryelle Goyle, passed all of her Hit Witch exams"—Sami stopped writing, nearly dropping her quill—"so she's due to become a full-time Hit Witch this upcoming September."

Sami left behind the silly roleplaying pretense as soon as she heard Bryelle's news. "Yesss!" she exclaimed with a squeal, which she had to muffle a little because of where she was. She felt as though she could have jumped straight over the desk, though she didn't actually. Still, she hastily set down her pen and rushed back out from behind the desk to embrace Bryelle. "My girlfriend's going to be a Hit Witch," she sang, ready to kiss her right there.
