After centuries of drama surrounding blood purity, a new era dawns. One where your heritage doesn’t matter, only that which you choose to believe in. The old, forgotten gods have risen and are thirsty for revenge.
While blood and flesh satisfy these gods, they require something even more plain: someone to believe in them.
Enter a budding group of young witches and druid women, who practice a deep connection with nature and the spiritual forces that permeate the world. Their rituals often involve sacred groves, stone circles, and sacrifice. They never forgot the old gods, or the stories that were passed down generations and ultimately coined as folklore. They believe that by following the demands of the old gods who are calling for blood will bestow upon them incredible magical gifts.
They are determined to rethread their beliefs back into society, to please the gods that were swept away by modern society, and take vengeance on those who sought to diminish their power.
They call themselves Morrigan’s Maidens.
Things to note:
Only females are allowed in this cult.
Ritual sacrifices on playable characters are allowed only with permission.
Druids in the cult will be excommunicated from Hy-Brasil.
Morrigan’s Maidens can be magical or not, as followers believe that a higher state of existence is in store for true believers. For example, cult members promise that anyone who joins them will be blessed with powerful gifts from the gods.
They have an innate connection with magical beasts, and have been known to tame creatures from all over the world ranging from nundus to wampus cats.
