This was a little uncanny, but the moment Anthony learned that Dystyl Phaelanges carried bone and fossil products of all kinds, he just had to pay a visit. Fossils fascinated him, as they reminded him of nature and adventure. Bones came in handy, because then his akita Khoi would have something to chew on. Sure, there was the Magical Menagerie, but he wanted authentic bones for Khoi.
And so he made his way down the creep Knockturn Alley. Anthony wasn't as fearful of the creepy place as the average person was. In fact, he was rather amused by this dark side of the magical community. Wizards and their antics. This was like, the black market of muggles. Being a groundskeeper didn't mean that he had to be stuck at the vicinity of the school all of the time. He had some free time of his own, although he left Khoi behind to be tended by some trustworthy staff members.
Anthony entered the shop. The moment he entered, a man walked up to him. "Good afternoon, sir. What can I do for you?" he asked respectfully, a little more respectfully than Anthony had expected. He had been expecting behavior along the lines of rude and cold. Oh well, this man knew what it meant to have a business. You needed to be appealing to customers to get money out of them, and have them come back to cough out more money.
Anthony smiled back at him. "Afternoon, old chap! I, um, I'm kind of wondering if you carry any big-sized bones for big dogs to chew on?"
The man bowed; Anthony arched his eyebrow with a slightly bemused expression upon his face, wondering why he found the need to bow. What was he, royalty? He didn't know anyone in the bone-selling business could be so elegant. "Wait just a moment," he said before walking up to one of the shelves containing all kinds of bones, grabbing the largest one which looked like it belonged to the leg of a dinosaur. Carrying it as he would carry a teenaged child over his shoulder, he walked back to Anthony and set it down beside him. "This will suffice."
Anthony stared at the huge bone in front of him. It reached up to his thigh. "Erm...I think you mistook a big dog for a hellhound," he said, but then the man excused himself quickly since he was being called from the back of the shop. Anthony watched as he disappeared behind the back of the shop, and then glanced down at the bone again, not really knowing what to do with it.
Where on earth did the owners of the shop get this thing? Actually, how did they expect to ever sell this? He was not aware that the population within the muggle community were fanatics over bones, least to say ones that belonged to a person who must be the size of five people put together. He was holding it upright so that it wouldn't fall to the ground and get damaged. "Uh...yeah, Khoi'll will have plenty to chew on. Maybe I'll even help chew on the other end if he doesn't reach it," Anthony mused to himself.
((Open, jump into this weird scene.))

Odette spent a lot of time around Knockturn Alley for one reason: in the hopes of finding him. Odette frequented the place, hoping she would get some word of where Fenrir Greyback may be. She figured his crowd still visited the place on the regular and figured he must have still made appearances here every now and then as well. Even with new times, Knockturn Alley was still a dodgy and dangerous place. If you didn't know what you were doing. Fortunately, Odette knew exactly what she was doing.
The Greyback walked along the alley, a hood over her head so that she could conceal her identity. Not that she had anything to hide, but she didn't want word to get out that Fenrir had a young female tracking him down on the streets. She wanted the element of surprise on her side. And so far, everything was going well... if only she could find him...
Odette grew bored as she walked along the street. Hardly anyone was out shopping today and she was beginning to think she might as well head back to Diagon Alley, thinking she might ahve a better chance of hearing something there. That was when she set her eyes on a new store. Something phaelanges? What in Merlin's name? Odette had to see this for herself so with a shrug of her shoulder, she trekked inside the odd looking store and once inside she looked around. Bones. Lots and lots of bones. What a sight... and what a good place for a dog to find a chew toy. That was exactly what Odette believed Fenrir to be, a dog. Now, Odette wasn't against werewolves by any means, but Fenrir was savage. She was against whatever he was. She was just thinking about how she could use the products of this store to her advantage when she saw the shopkeeper dragging a giant bone to a customer. Odette's eyes widened as she slowly made her way over to stand a few feet away from them. She looked the bone over once again. "That's big enough to have belonged to a mammoth, that is," she said aloud, making her presence known.

So Anthony, still standing there without the slightest knowledge of what to do with this dinosaur leg (or, at least, that was what he thought it to be), he heard a female voice speak her mind from behind him. He glanced over his shoulder, and he found himself looking at a beautiful young woman around his age or so. He smirked. "You say mammoth, but I say it's from a dinosaur," he joked as if it really mattered. The point was that it was ridiculously gigantic and they both knew it. His smirk turned into an amused grin. "Either way, I've been trying to tell the genius over there that this isn't what you give to a normal dog, unless you want to crush it. And I was just here to find a simple bone for my dog to chew on."
He chuckled, walking a little bit to the side of the bone while still holding it still so that he could talk face to face with the young lady. "And what's a lovely woman like you doing in a shop full of bones? Got a dog you want to surprise, too?" He lifted an eyebrow. He was partly teasing her, but at the same time he was genuinely curious to know what another regular person was doing in a shop like this. He highly doubted that this place got a lot of normal-looking customers.

When the customer the shopkeeper was helping turned around to face her, Odette glanced at him and to the bone. She couldn't help but wonder why on Earth he needed a bone that large. It had to be the biggest she had ever seen. She raised her eyebrows, amused, when he spoke. She looked around the shop again before she spoke. "Well," she said crossing her arms in front of her. "I'd say you definitely came to the right place." Odette's mind wandered to how a shop got its hands on this many bones and she felt a shiver go down her spine. A part of her really didn't want to know how some of them got there... This was Knockturn Alley, after all.
When the man spoke again, Odette raised her eyebrows again but this time she feigned amusement. It was always quite annoying how men thought they could refer to women as "lovely" and "beautiful," even if they were sincere. Odette just found it unbecoming. She let out a sarcastic laugh. "Oh no. No canines for me," she said a little bitterly. Odette didn't mind dogs when they were around, but they really just weren't for her. They reminded her too much of werewolves... "I'd actually never even seen this store before... it caught my eye today," she looked around again, wondering for a moment if werewolves liked bones just as much as dogs. "Thought I'd be able to find out about a potential customer but..." she looked at the shopkeeper and raised an eyebrow, suddenly convinced that that wasn't a question she should ask around these parts. "I don't think he'd be able to help me." She shrugged, continuing to look around at the odd bones in the store.
