Dear Professor Grey,
Today I received my schedule for this year.
At first everything seemed in order, but then I noticed something a bit odd. I'm signed up for your Defense Against the Dark Arts class. I'm planning on being a healer and decided this class isn't really needed for it, as well as the fact that the library doesn't hold a DADA book I haven't read. And I exceeded this in my OWLS as well. I don't think your class will help me all that much, which is why I avoided to sign up for it. But for some reason I'm still in the attendance for the class.
With regards,
Aurora Lestrange

Miss Lestrange,
I knew you would be wondering about that. I know you did very well on your O.W.L.s and that you have read every book about DADA. But those books do not cover everything in DADA. There is more that you can learn on the subject. Which is what we will be doing this year in my class. There are things that I can teach you which you won't find in books. I think that if you come you will enjoy the class. And what I have to teach is invaluable. As a healer you will come across many injuries, but if you don't know what spell, jinx, curse, etc. was used then you won't know how to heal the patient you are treating. Also what you will learn will help you if you are ever attacked, or threatened, etc. If you have any questions just send them along and I will be more than happy to answer them. If you are interested in taking my class just let me know.

Dear Professor Grey,
But books do cover majority. I know half is theory and half is doing or well experiencing but, I haven't had a moment in my life where I could actually put what I've read to use. I know it might be a bit mad to say, but I'd really enjoy it if we were actually put up to the task or actually using them. As in dueling sessions in class, or even surprised "attacks," because you are right, but most of my DADA classes have been well, just studying it instead of using it.
If you ARE positive I will enjoy the class then I will keep my place in your class. I don't know when or if I'll ever be attack but I do know what a healer needs to know, which is why I was going away from this subject. I've seen pictures and such of the effect of different curses and hexes and spent the last summer in Mungo's. But you apparently see importance in myself being in your class, I can give it a try.
With regards,
Aurora Lestrange

Miss Lestrange,
I am quite positive that you will enjoy my class and that it will help you. Do not worry, this year there will be very little theory in class for us to go over. The first class we will start off with making sure everyone can cast and produce a corporeal patronus. Then if there is time I have something else that you might just enjoy, but you will have to wait for class to see that. And you should know by now that I don't give out much homework, so there is very little studying involved for the class. It will all be practical this year. I am glad that you are willing to give it a try, you won't regret coming. See you in class.

Dear Professor Grey,
And you should know by now, I love theoretical study despite the homework it brings. But alright, Professor I'm trusting you on this one.
Likewise, see you there!
