Her high heels made the clucking sound as she walked down corridors of St.Mungos she had been on the third floor in the Potions and Plant Poisoning ward, the ward she had been in charge of until 2020 when she was promoted to Director. She wore a blue skirt and a blue jacket, with an eagle pin attached to it for the house of Ravenclaw. She smiled and greeted people as she made her way to the elevator lift to go down to the ground floor, where the office of the Director of St.Mungos now resided. When Althea had taken over, it had been after one of the largest scandals to ever hit St.Mungos cause many to distrust the hospital, including the Ministry who distrusted it very much so. As she boarded the lift to the go down to the ground floor, she remembered her first move when she took over the position, moved the office from the fifth floor in a secluded wing of the Hospital to the ground floor so she could assist with patients and visitors better. Transparency as well thought Althea as she walked out on to the ground floor, and turned down a hallway which became a dead end with a portrait of a lady dressed in eloquent red dress. “A visitor from the Ministry is here…” the lady from the portrait said and she swung open revealing a small waiting area and a desk for the advisor of Althea.
Making her to a door with a large gold plate that read her name and title she walked in, to a large circular office with enchanted windows of it looking like the ocean outside. A rather plump man sat in a chair across from her desk and just smiled at her when she walked in. She gave a slight smile towards him and closes the door behind her and walked over to the blue armchair behind her desk. ”I’m going to make this quick and simple, inform the Ministry, yes the entire Ministry of idiots that I will not take interference from them in my hospital. If they do, trust me the mountain of favors people owe me will crush them and the Ministry. Are we clear? said Althea her voice was like a blunt blade attacking it’s victim, and at the end she gave a big smile and turned her head sideways to the door. There was a pause for a minute or two and the man paused, started to speak which Althea quickly coughed to interrupt him, ”I have a very important lunch date sir”were the words that escaped her mouth as she made her way to the door and opened it for the man, and motioned for him to leave in a “after you” manner. She smiled and watched the man leave in a silent hissy fit, closing the door behind her and walking over to her sitting area in the office and poured some pumpkin juice for herself. She took a sit and glanced at the clock seeing it was almost time for her weekly lunch meeting with one of her favorite Head Healer’s Constance Kase, who ran the Spell Damage ward. She hummed to herself waiting a little thinking about how the Ministry would certainly be breathing down her neck now. She made sure earlier to tell her advisor to send Constance in once she arrived, and not make her wait.

Constance had lived through one heck of a day already, but she wouldn't miss the annual lunch date with her boss for the world. Even though most people would find it intimidating, Constance looked forward to these lunches. Why? Because Dr. Dido, Althea, was dedicated to the hospital. Constance had worked with healers before who weren't as dedicated as they should have been. People who wanted to be a healer for the glory. Whoever gave them the idea that being a healer was a 'glorious' profession, made for glamor and fame, was seriously wrong. There was nothing glamorous about it. It was dirty, it was messy and it was hard. But, of course, that would never stop Constance from working her hardest and loving her job. With all the bad, there was always a silver lining of good. Always that person whose life she improved, saved or helped. It wasn't all fame and fortune, it was giving back to others and giving back to God.
Constance was getting lost in her thoughts as she made her way up to Altheas office. As she approached the door she saw a man leaving in some sort of fit. Constance tried not to laugh. No doubt Althea told him off for some reason or another, and he probably deserved it too. Especially if he was trying to undermine Altheas authority. That never went well! As soon as the gentleman passed, Constance let a small laugh come out and a huge smile played onto her face as she approached the door. Altheas advisor stood to open the door, "Hello, Dr. Kase. She's expecting you." Constance nodded in thanks and entered the room, still smiling as she did so.
"So," she started, "what did that poor man get himself into?" she asked walking toward the desk.

She put her glass down as she looked up to see her office door open and her favorite Head Healer walked into the room Constance Kase, smiling which Althea returned with a big smile and motioned for Constance to take a sit at the chair across from her by the enchanted windows with a coffee table in the middle of the chairs. She had liked Constance from the time she had met here, and liked her even more now that she was her boss, because Constance showed dedication and kept things moving in her ward. Too many times a ward get backed up, and other Healers would need to be called to help or Althea would come down herself to help them. Or it would be that they were behind in paperwork of everything or failed to do their reports correctly, never did she have problems in the Spell Damage ward. ”Constance, good to see you. You know I have been everywhere today except your ward, because it had no problems that needed my attention” said Althea politely as she started pouring herself some more pumpkin juice.
She drank some more of the pumpkin juice and gave a laugh to the question Constance asked about the man who had just left her office. Putting her glass down she smiled at Constance and gave a slight chuckle ”He was under this impression that the Ministry may undermine my authority, or interfere here, I had to remind him that was a fairytale, gently of course” said Althea with a small grin as she drank some more of her drink and then put it back down once more. She did not tolerate the Ministry interfering with St. Mungos anymore; it had been two years since that scandal, two years since she took over. I have created more transparency here instead of the Ministry itself! thought Althea she took a quick look out of the enchanted windows looking at beach smiling, she always loved the beach and ocean. One day when she was old, she was moving and living on the beach she already had planned on those years ago. She turned back to Constance and gave her a slight smile. ”So what do you want for lunch? Anything you want I’ll have my advisor have it go pick it up”said Althea in her usual kind tone of voice, and she sipped some more the pumpkin juice as she waited to hear from one of the best and smartest Head Healers.

Constance was always happy to hear when Althea was happy with her ward. It made sense, considering Constance was a perfectionist and Althea liked this done in a particular fashion. Constance loved her job too much to let something silly like un-organized work get in her way. She smiled as she walked towards the desk and sat across from her boss. "Oh, thank you. I'm sure my staff has everything in control while I'm gone," she adjusted herself in her seat to be more comfortable, "I'd trust them with my own life if necessary." She spoke truthfully, and she knew that Althea respected honesty and expected to receive it from Constance.
Constance laughed along side her as she mentioned the ministry man, "They're at it again?" Constance shook her head. The ministry was... cute, so to speak, for trying to undermine Altheas authority. Constance respected her more than anyone else, especially her determination to keep the ministry out of hospital affairs unless it was a necessary meeting of some kind. The woman was a rock. "At least we have you, or I fear we'd be in bad shape." Constance was only an intern before Althea came and hadn't known much else about the hold Hospital Director, but the place was much less enjoyable and independent back then.
Althea was always kind to Constance, but she had seen her bad side from the sidelines. It was nothing less than terrifying, and Constance was happy not to be on the other end of those conversations. In fact, this lunch date continuing and happening often is what gave Constance the confidence in her work. "Well, maybe we should have some potatoes and steamed vegetables?" Althea often offered Constance up to pick the meal, but sometimes she'd surprise her. Constance named the first food that came to her mind, and it sounded delicious.

She smiled nodding at her employee, when she said she trusted that her staff could keep everything running fine while she was gone. Even adding in that she trusted them with her own life as well l, Althea gave a slight smile at this. She knew it was honesty coming from Constance, something Althea always told his employees, be honest to me. Also knowing that she trusted her staff with her life was something that stood out to her, it meant Constance had a good relationship with her employees professionally and even personally maybe. ”Good I am glad to hear that”was her response, but she was very happy to hear it. She gave a slight little laugh when Constance had replied “their at it again” about the Ministry. For a while now it seemed they would try and gain influence, she knock them down and remind them who had the power here. The messengers always walked away in a pissed mood, or having a hissy fit or even the one that Althea made break down to tears and running from the office. Oh well she had it coming, they really should take the hint thought Althea as she drank some more of the pumpkin juice.
”I would think by now after the last two years of my changes they would trust me to run the hospital, without trainee wheels or someone holding my hand”said Althea as she poured some more juice for herself. She could not stand when people thought she couldn’t do something that they had to hold her hand to guide her. As far as Althea saw she did everything on her own, she worked hard to move up the ranks to become Head Healer of Potions and Plant Poisoning ward and even more to take over the Director position. Not to count all of the favorites I have worked hard for to earn thought Althea as she remembered all of the charity work she had done recently and in the past. She had impressed herself with the influence she had acquired throughout the wizarding world. Her mind jumped from those thoughts immediately back to the lunch she was having, and what Constance had offered they have for lunch. ”Yes sounds great!” said Althea as she jumped to her feet and walked out of her office over to her aide’s desk in the private waiting area. ”Kathryn, some potatoes and steamed vegetables for lunch please. Get yourself whatever you want, thank you”said Althea to her aid who nodded and headed off to get the food.
Walking back in she closed the office door and moved back to her chair across from Constance and took a long sip from her drink. ”Well it shouldn’t take too long now, I am just starving. So how have you been”?asked Althea turning and smiling to Constance as she waited for a response, and their lunch to arrive.

Constance nodded, "You're a grown and experienced woman, the fact that they think you need their assistance, if that's what they're calling it, is pathetic." Constance said bluntly. She made it a point to speak her mind down to the tee, especially when in the presence of someone whom she respected and was expected to be trusted by. Constance tried to imagine what it would be like to be in Altheas shoes, would she be able to handle the Ministry like that? Would she be able to tell them off and make a stance for herself and her staff? No, not yet at least. Constance was only twenty-four years old, she wasn't anywhere near ready for something like that. But maybe someday, when she was older and the position opened up, maybe Constance would be interested. But for now she was incredibly happy where she was-working hard and making a point to save as many people as she could in this lifetime, and hopefully in the next.
Constance watched as Althea headed to speak with her advisor. She was so upbeat for... not that Althea was old, but she certainly wasn't a sixteen year old girl, that was for certain. As she came back Constance sat up a little straighter in her seat. "I'm quite hungry as well," Constance commented. She shrugged and leaned forward a little, crossing her legs as she prepared to answer the question. "I have been... well. For the most part. We had a muggle admitted a few days ago and..." Constance didn't want to choke up, not in front of her boss. But Althea was understanding, Constance was sure. Still, she took a moment to catch her breath and steady her voice. "she was only about fifteen, or so, but she was tortured with curses. I contacted my friend at the Hospital Wing in Hogwarts and she said there have been strange attacks going on at the school as well. I worried, Althea." Constance leaned forward even more and folded her hands together, placing them on the desk in front of her. "What news have you heard about a murder on the Hogwarts express?" Constance asked. Althea was much higher up than she and probably knew more about the situation.
Constance sighed, "I really am sorry to be such a downer, but this has been pressing on my mind recently."

She nodded at what Constance said and smile appeared on her face when she called Althea a “grown and experienced woman”. Althea did think very well of herself through she tried not to boast, but she was very good in healing magic, handle the politics of her position incredibly, and not to mention her expertise in potions and herbology. She gave a slight chuckle that Constance called them pathetic for thinking that she needed their assistance, she was right. However; Althea felt they were even more pathetic for thinking they could even try to threaten her with power moves, which had been the recent messages. I am not going anywhere, that’s been made clear thought Althea, she controlled St. Mungos not as some iron ruler, but as a fair but strict leader in standards and performance, as well as transparency. ”Yes it is pathetic, even more so that they think they can try power moves here against me. I’m sure you’ve notice Constance I have many friends in high places” said Althea giving a small smile. It was no secret that Althea knew many Ministry officials on friendly terms, including the Senior Undersecretary for the Minister, not to mention many influential members in society. Pushing Althea out of her position, would be unthinkable, yes it would.
Her thoughts came back to what Constance was starting to say about she had been feeling and then bringing up the muggle patient that had been brought in. She looked down for a second as she was sad at such a thing had happened to the girl. She had obtained a full report of course from Constance’s ward earlier in the week since the patient had been brought in, and she had done more looking into it as well. Nodding at what she said about her colleague at Hogwarts she gave a little sigh when she brought up the murder on the train. She did hear about it from Dwight, she had talked to him after it had happened reached out for information, from him. ”Yes, I’m aware of the girl, it’s a shame and just evil for what someone did to her.” said Althea she addressed first the girl brought into St. Mungos. ” Yes, it was a new student, muggle born she had never even been sorted yet. Apparently James Potter, son of Harry Potter found the body of the girl. The Headmaster has taken precautions…I suppose”said Althea she giving a little sip of her drink and looked the other way. She did not trust the Headmaster at all, hearing many tales of how his power moves, and his style of management from Dwight over in the Ministry.
”No you’re not a downer at all, and oh look the food is here, come in dear!” said Althea giving a warm smile to Constance to assure her she was not a downer. She got up at once she saw Kathryn walking into the office with the food, after she knocked first. Taking the food from Kathryn she thanked her and handed a tray of potatoes and steamed vegetables for Constance and placed her own tray where she had been sitting across from Constance. She motioned for her employee to dig in, as she sat down and started to eat herself as her aide left the room closing the door behind her. ”Great choice, I must say”said Althea, truly happy for Constance had requested for lunch, a healthy and satisfying one.

Constance nodded, "You're a grown and experienced woman, the fact that they think you need their assistance, if that's what they're calling it, is pathetic." "Of course. But it's not just that you have friends in high places, it's that you've made the right friends. Friends with good people." Constance nodded. That was one thing she learned from Althea, friends in high places were important, but having good friends was just as important. Friends you could always trust. Constance had only a few close friends; Caroline, her mentor during medical school and now Hogwarts nurse, Miss. Hudson, a fellow healer here at the hospital and sister of Constances... boyfriend? She didn't know what to call him. John, her fellow Gryffindor now auror, and last but not least Rob, the man she was most likely going to marry. She mentally slapped herself for thinking that, nothing was set in stone.
Constance was snapped back to reality by Altheas words of comfort about the muggle girl and then continued to mentioned the girl on the train. Constance leaned forward a little more to listen to what Potter had reported about the train murder. "A first year muggle born?" Constance said breathlessly. Constance placed a hand over her heart. She imagined herself as a little girl, so excited to found out that magic was real and being sent on the train. Her parents were delighted to find out their daughter possessed magic and did everything they could to support her. What is she had been murdered just like this poor muggleborn? Constance felt a tear prick her eye, "Oh Gods... her poor parents. I can't imagine how they must be feeling. My parents would have..." she swallowed hard. Her parents would have been devastated, as this girls parents probably were.
Constance shook her head and was relieved when the food arrived. She needed something to settle the sick knot that was boiling up in her stomach. "Oh lovely," Constance said, color slowly draining back into her cheeks. Constance took a few bites out of her food, chewed and swallowed before responding. "Well, thank you! I knew I needed something more filling today, what with a double shift and all." And with an apparent muggleborn killer on the loose, she thought with a shiver.

She nodded and smiled to what Constance was saying about her and the dealings with the Ministry. Her employee was in fact correct, Althea had made not just high profile friends but also the right ones, ones she knew who would help her when she needed it. Backup plans were something Althea always thought of if the time ever came when she started to lose her grip on her position, she had many favors to call in and backup plans to sort through. She took another bite of her meal eventually finishing her vegetables first; she always did like eating healthy. Pathetic, yes I’m starting to like that word thought Althea hearing it again about how the Ministry would be pathetic thinking, she needed her hand held or a guide on how to run St. Mungos. Pouring herself, some more pumpkin juice she looked backed at Constance who you could tell was shaken up about the fact a first year muggle born being killed on the train. She gave a sympathetic look to her, because it did infuriate Althea very much so. Even though she had no kids of her own she could stand someone killing such a young and innocent child. Honestly, she could not see herself ever killing anyone unless it was to protect herself from hands of death itself. She did not wish to think about her being brought to the brink of killing someone, so she pushed the thoughts out of head and looked back to Constance.
”I can’t imagine either about the parents either...I know Hogwarts is protected however. I may disagree with the placement of Reynolds as Headmaster, but he is a wise man and one would protect the school and it’s students” said Althea taking another bite of her potatoes. However at what cost the man would go to protect the school, Althea could only wonder. Dwight had told her tons of stories from working with the man at the Ministry. The Voldemort of the Ministry and the Aurors thought Althea one of the first things she first heard about Burt, from Dwight. She did not exactly understand what Dwight disliked so much about Burt, except knowing that he seemed to have high ambitions and was little to fascinate by the dark arts at moments. Althea did not appreciate the dark arts at all; she dabbled in parts of it to understand different dark curses to deal with during Healing but that was it. She gave another smile to her employee who thanked her for the compliment about the choosing of the food. ”So Constance, anyone new in your life? Other then work related” said Althea she gave a sly smile to Constance waiting for a reply. Althea enjoyed getting to know her co workers on personal bases as well, which of course involved who they were dating.

"I guess Hogwarts is safe in the hands of Headmaster Reynolds, yes" barely, Constance thought. The murder of the girl on the train was just one little sign that things were going bad. Everyone always went on about how protected and safe Hogwarts was, but Constance had studied the Battle of Hogwarts in History of Magic. So much for safety then. Granted, Constance doubted anything that big or crazy would happen in a very long time if at all. But the thoughts of what happened there, the entire time Harry Potter was at school, didn't really calm Constance's heart. She didn't have any kids of her own either, and part of her wasn't sure that she ever wanted to. Sending them off to a school far away with magic was one thing, and she couldn't imagine how her parents as muggles felt sending their child into a world they knew nothing about. How did muggle parents pull that sort of thing off? Constance doubted she would've had the strength.
Constance blushed a little at the thought of what Althea was asking. Of course, Constance could pretend to be innocent and have nothing interesting to say, but Althea would see right through that. Constance took her time taking another bite of food before responding. "Well, yes. I've recently reconnected with an old friend, an auror." Constance chuckled at the word reconnected. They had all but made love right in the ministry not too long ago as they caught up. They kissed, dance and he even foolishly got her flowers. The thought of him made Constances stomach flip, and her blood pound. She looked up at Althea with a genuine smile on her face, "let's just say we're seeing where the road takes us. What about you?"

As Constance spoke the words that Hogwarts was safe in the hands of Headmaster Burt Reynolds, it was something Althea hoped was completely true but how could she fully know if it was. She had her doubts of the man because of Dwight of course, everything he had said about Burt to her was basically bad. That he was power hungry and that he would do anything to get what he wanted, and considering he was a talented and skilled wizard that was not good at all. She truly believed however that the man would protect the students of Hogwarts due to the fact of his own daughter being killed at a young age. He would never harm the students not intentionally thought Althea as she finished her drink once more. ”I must say however I was surprised that Reynolds was appointed as Headmaster unless the board was hoping his skills as Head Auror before would help in this situation”spoke Althea before taking another bite of her meal. That would be the most justifiable reason they would have appointed him, and part of their defense did cite his ‘exemplary’ leadership during his time as Head Auror and in the Magical Law Enforcement department.
She gave a little smile and a laugh when Constance started to talk about the person she had reconnected with, and notice her chuckle when she mentioned the word ‘reconnected’. So the friend of Constance was an Auror, she was happy it was not some dead beat guy. She saw much of herself in Constance and never wanted her to be with someone who was just completely blow her. For example Althea never dated anyone who was below in her such terms of influence and power, she found it to be horrible and strike fear in the guy’s heart of the influence and power she had. ”An Auror that’ excellent…he is someone you have dated before?”asked Althea almost done with her food now. When she had asked Althea about her and relationship life, she kind of looked down for a second. She and Dwight had been dating off and on throughout the last couple years recently however they have broken up, and she was afraid it was for good. She truly cared for the man but, in the recent weeks he had grown cold even snapped at her to leave his office last time she saw him. It was no secret to anyone that Dwight and Althea were or have been a couple. ”Well me and Dwight have recently taken a break...I don’t know he’s been rather cold lately not the same man I fell in love with” said Althea giving a small sigh as she waited for response from Constance.

”I agree, he didn’t seem to have much of a school administration background, but people must have voted because of the Auror thing. People are getting more and more scared for their children being so far away that they probably wanted someone tough and well-practiced against the dark arts in the position,” Constance could see how that made sense, even though she definitely didn’t have any kids of her own. She could still understand how the parents might be worried about their kids, even so many years after the battle at Hogwarts. The parents of the students were indeed the kids who fought in the war, so they saw horrible things at that place first hand. Of course they’d want to be sure that the children were safe.
Constance blushed even more at the further mention of Rob, ”yes, briefly during our seventh year. It didn’t last very long due to graduation,” she smiled and took another bite, swallowing before speaking again. ”With me starting the pre-healing program and him training to be an auror, there really wasn’t much room for a relationship after school.” she shrugged. She didn’t regret her decision to pursue her career one bit, especially now that she was head in her department. Those years about only brought her and Rob closer, in a sense. Constance frowned at the mention of Dwight. That relationship was one of the most complicated that Constance had ever seen. They were on and off more than Ross and Rachel from friends. Constance wasn’t amused by his sudden change in behavior and his coldness. She had never talked to the man, but she understood what Althea was saying. ”Maybe he’s just stressed because of all that’s going on. I’ve seen the Ministers other team members and they barely even sleep.” She sighed too, not sure what else to say.

She nodded as she leaned back in her chair and listened to what Constance said about why they probably had appointed Reynolds as Headmaster. It was true he had no administrative background at all to do with the school, he had never served as the Deputy Headmaster nor did he ever serve as his Head of House either. Transfiguration Professor for only five years and the results were mixed on how well of a Professor he was. However; he was widely received as an up most Head Auror and he did have a long proven record of obscuring convictions as Deputy of the Magical Law Enforcement, however his means and methods at the time were ones that one could describe as ruthless. ”Yes he was very accomplished Head Auror until Ian Owens killed his family. The things they did to his daughter, all because he did his job and declared war on dark wizards” spoke Althea nodding her head as she stated what she did. ”I tell you however; I get the feeling the Headmaster is the type of man to lash out in ruthless ways if pushed to the edge” said Althea leaning in a little to pour some more juice.
She gave a little giggle and smile as she listened to that they hated dated back in school in their seventh year. It apparently didn’t last long because they both had their careers chosen ahead him Auror, and her becoming a Healer. Both of them hard paths and not easy ones to juggle with a serious relationship. However; it seemed fate wanted them together, if they were brought back this time. ”Well maybe fate wants you guys back together. Love always finds a way I suppose” said Althea raising her glass up in approval of the relationship Constance was currently having with the Auror. ”What is his name if I may ask?” asked Althea, she was wondering if she had ever met the Auror before during her visits to the Ministry. She gave a little sigh as Constance gave some reasons why Dwight had been cold recently, she hoped it was that simple but she didn’t see it as such. ”Maybe but, I don’t think it’s that simple…he’s completely changed just the last few weeks, something has changed in him compete last time we talked he snapped at me over nothing” said Althea it had been over his attempts to under his recent political movies to switch to supporting Reynolds instead of opposing the man like he had always done.

Constance felt her heart stop at the mentioned of Reynolds family being murdered. She placed a hand over her heart, but only momentarily removing it after a few seconds. ”That is... heartbreaking. No wonder he wanted to get out the Law Enforcement Department, at least for a while.” She had heard all kinds of terrible things that had happened to people who were the family or Aurors and other Law officers. She felt a shudder as she thought about her own family. She was almost certain that she would become Robs official family, eventually. She felt a pang in her gut as she thought about what dangers that meant for her and for her own children. She had to push the thought aside or she wouldn’t be able to eat anymore.
”Really?” she finally commented about Altheas assessment of Burt lashing out ruthlessly. She didn’t really know much about the man. The thought of a headmaster like that was a little concerning, if he had been there when she was a student, she was positive that he would have punished her and her friends severely.
Althea giggled and smiled as they spoke about Rob, she didn’t expect to be having girl talk with her boss today, but it was fun nonetheless. ”That is true, love is a very strong and dangerous magic. Almost chaotic,” she laughed, even though it was entirely true. She raised her glass as well and took a sip, quickly lowering the glass when Althea asked his name. ”Oh! It’s Rob Hudson, do you know of him?” He wasn’t famous in any way, but he was an auror and they’re names were semi likely to get tossed around I conversation.
”I am sorry... Hmm, have you asked him about it?” she didn’t know if this was the best solution, but maybe Dwight had a good reason for being so snappy. ”Or do you think he’d just be upset if you did?” She would hope that the man would respect Altheas question and answer it to the best of his ability, but if he was snapping at her for no reason, perhaps it wouldn't go well.

She watched her reaction to when she had said that Reynolds family had been murdered, it too had the same reaction when Althea first heard the news long ago about him. When she eventually tracked down the daily prophet article of the attack, she had even shed tears at the details of the girl’s murder. That man is sick, to torture a child like that before killing her thought Althea as she shifted a little in her seat. However; she knew Reynolds had not stepped down from Head Auror on his own, he had been pushed out from what she had heard from others. He got a promotion to become second in command giving him more power, but he apparently hated leaving the Head Auror office. ”Oh he didn’t step down, he was forced out he got a forced promotion to Deputy of the department. From what I’ve heard he never liked being forced out of the Auror office despite the killings” spoke Althea in her normal calm tone.
She nodded at her reaction to the man being able to lash out in ruthless ways, it had been from everything she had heard either from Dwight or from someone else high in the food chain. ”They always say a man is most dangerous when he’s about to lose it all, I think that might fit the Headmaster perfectly” said Althea she got up from her chair and looked over as the door opened and her assistant came in with a note and handed it to her, she nodded at her thank you before taking her seat once more. Her eyes reading the note she gave a slight laugh and her eyes rolled, however she was annoyed by it as well. ”A note from the Ministry saying they are saddened by missing my meeting with their official today and be happy re-schedule. So he tells them I didn’t show up to the meeting, oh what a spineless jerk” said Althea rather calmly tossing the note aside, she would deal with such children tactics later. The things Constance spoke about how love was a power and dangerous magic she gave a little smile to her, she was in love with Dwight she knew she was, just maybe he didn’t feel that way towards her in any way anymore.
The name of the man Constance was starting to see again did sound familiar she had heard it from Dwight maybe or one of the times in her trips to the Ministry and by the Auror office as well. ”The name does sound familiar, I probably haven’t had the pleasure of meeting him, well if gets more serious I’d like to meet him, if not sooner” spoke Althea giving a small smile she always, did like building those personal relationships with her employees, and this was just another brick in the foundation. She wondered for a while what Dwight would say if she brought up how he snapped at her, before this time if they fought she could usually talk to him after or even get through to him at times. Now she was completely unsure. ”I have no idea honestly if I should ask him or not about it, before I could now I don’t know if I could. He’s shutting people out through, I heard he won’t even talk to some of his closest colleagues at least not how he used too.” said Althea without a smile on her face, the fact she had to hear from others what Dwight was doing hurt her.
