the strike system
Here at ALOHOMORA, we have a strike system in place so that is easier for staff to keep track of rule breaking as well as to prevent said rule breaking. The staff will keep a close eye on all records and make sure they are all up to date to prevent any confusion. But please remember, staff is staff and their word is final. If they have a staff title, they are to be respected and taken seriously. Staff does not need permission from other staff to do certain things. It is likely that they have already gotten it. So please respect the word and actions of all staff members, otherwise you will be written a verbal warning and given a strike.Without further adieu, this is how the system will work.
- Strikes will be given out for any form of rule breaking. If you need a refresher, please read back up on the rules here.
- If you reach 3 strikes, you will lose a special claim. This could mean losing a special ability, a captaincy of some sort, a leadership position, etc. Members with no titles like that will be handled on a case by case basis.
- If you for some reason reach 5 strikes, you will lose all of your canon characters.
- If you reach 6 strikes, you will be placed on a temporary ban. The amount of time will be decided by ADMIN DEE on a case by case basis.
Now, strikes will roll off after 30 days. So, let's say that Sally received 3 strikes. She would have to give up a special ability claim. After 30 days, if she has no more discrepancies, one strike will be taken off. After another 30 days, another will be taken off. This will continue until all strikes have rolled off, permitting Sally doesn't receive more. Now, if she waits 60 days and is down to 1 strike but breaks another rule, she will get another strike bringing her total up to 2 and giving her an extra 30 days to wait again.
Hopefully we will not have to use this a lot! And you are all pretty good about not breaking rules! This is just here as a precaution for any instances that we may need to implement it.
