Dastan was searching for his brother. Normally, he didn't have a hard time finding him, but Hogwarts was a big castle and no matter where he looked, Jesper was nowhere to be found, which was annoying beyond belief to the older twin. After searching for a couple of hours, Dastan felt himself getting angry so he decided to take a break and go somewhere he could relax. His first thought: the library. Dastan loved learning. He loved everything about it. Reading, succeeding, learning new things. It was one of the reasons he was at Hogwarts this year, his love for learning. It made him a powerful wizard. That and the fact that he had a photographic memory. He tended to remember practically everything he read. So he loved books.
He walked through the large library, smiling as he looked at the rows and rows of books. He could get lost in a place like this for months and be happy about it. He went to a random shelf and pulled out a book, not even looking at it as he made his way to the corner of the library, where he saw a couple of chairs. As he approached, he saw a familiar head. "Jesper! I've been looking everywhere for you," he said, the exasperation showing in his voice.

@dastan "Jesper! I've been looking everywhere for you," he looked up from the book he was reading when he heard the voice of his brother and he raised a brow. he looked annoyed at him for some reason. it was enough to make jesper laugh. he closed the book and shook his head slightly, laying it on his knee and he sat forward, resting his elbow on the cover of the book and he looked up at his brother. "well how was i to know" he said with a grin and he motioned to the chair next to him. "but at least you found me. anything in particular you're after?" he said as he shifted and tucked his good knee under his other leg to get a little more comfortable. he'd figured it was easier to spend the next few days inside the castle, seeing as how badly the last trip outside in the grounds he'd taken had gone.

Jesper was laughing, but Dastan didn't think it was funny. "I have been looking for you for hours. I finally gave up and decided to come here and there you are!" Dastan gestured to his brother, annoyed. "Since when do you spend your time in libraries?" he asked, calming down almost as quickly as he got riled up. When it came to his brother, Dastan could never stay annoyed for long, especially when he knew that Jesper wasn't trying to irritate him. He moved to sit down beside his brother and shrugged a little. "Not really. I wanted to ask about your leg, and I just wanted to see you. We have not talked in a while," he told his brother, sure Jesper would understand. For most of their lives, they'd been extremely close with one another. One of the reasons was because no one put up with Dastan's competitive side as well as his brother did. "How are you liking Hogwarts?" he asked with a smile.

@dastan "I have been looking for you for hours. I finally gave up and decided to come here and there you are! Since when do you spend your time in libraries?" he tried to stop his laughing and he shook his head slightly. "okay .. okay i'm sorry that i annoyed you by not being easy to find" he said as he reached out to pat his brothers arm as he moved to sit down next to him. "and i'm inside because the last time i went outside it was dangerous" he said. he was joking slightly, of course he'd go outside but it had just seemed like the easier option to sit and read something with his legs propped up on one of the other chairs rather than fuss about over the grounds again. for now at least. "Not really. I wanted to ask about your leg, and I just wanted to see you. We have not talked in a while," he smiled slightly and nodded a little. his brother had been there when he'd been hurt and he hadn't really seen him since. jesper had spent the day after it had happened resting in the carriage, excused from classes for the day even though his leg had been almost healed. "How are you liking Hogwarts?" he nodded a little and closed the book he had open in his hands over his lap. "i like it a whole lot better now emile is winning" he said with a nudge to his brothers shoulder. he knew that das had been cut up about not being picked as champion but he hoped that the fact emile was doing a good job, even if he was arrogant about it, would help lessen the blow. after all it meant the school was winning.

Despite his annoyance at his brother, Dastan could hardly stay angry at him, especially when he heard his brother's reason for being in the library. It wasn't surprising, after his injury the other day. He looked at Jesper curiously, "How long are you going to be able to keep yourself cooped up inside?" Whether it was inside the carriage or inside Hogwarts, inside was inside and Dastan was pretty sure that Jesper would rather enjoy the last few days before winter if he could. "So how is your leg feeling?" Dastan asked, when it was clear that Jesper wasn't going to tell him unless he asked outright. He didn't really mind, per say, he just wanted to hear something about how his brother was doing, other than scared to go outside. Dastan fought the urge to roll his eyes when Jesper mentioned he was enjoying himself more now that Emile won the first task. Dastan didn't blame Hogwarts (or its champion) for its defeat, but he was annoyed that Emile was now somewhat justified in his arrogance. He still didn't like the prat and how everyone was so proud of him now. It was ridiculous! Not that he was going to say that to his brother, who obviously approved of the Beauxbaton's Champion. Oscar merely grunted and grabbed a book off a nearby table, flipping through it so he could pretend to be distracted and not have to respond to Jesper's comment about Emile. His brother definitely wouldn't respond well to Dastan's negative attitude, he was sure.
