Louisa really didn't get this whole Quidditch thing. One big thing or several small? Which would be better? "Which would be more useful to him?" Money wasn't as issue. Louisa was a well known concert pianist. She could make very good money when she was in contract with someone and she personally didn't spend much. She'd basically put away most of the money she'd earned in the last few years. Not just that though. She'd splurged on one item. A grande piano that she kept at her parents until she decided to invest in her own place. After purchasing that, nothing in this store could even make her blink.
The corners or Louisa's eyes crinkled with silent laughter. She almost never laughed out loud, it was all in her eyes. He looked so flushed by her comment. And couldn't even manage a decent response to it. Just stuttered and gave up. So she had been right. He would have tried to deny it if it wasn't or if he wasn't sure. "Hogwarts is a big school, there isn't anyway you could have known everyone." Durmstrang was bigger, those the physical castle was smaller. Heaven knew Louisa couldn't name even a fourth of her old classmates. "You seem happier. It's good to see you like this. Its been a long time." Ever since he was little.

@louisa <3 Knowing Daniel, Nikolai would say he probably had a decent broom already. Either that or his parents were going to get him one, so Nikolai would pass on that offer. His eyes narrowed glancing around, looking at all the accessories for Quidditch. Niko bit his lip, trying to think back to what he desperately needed when he was first starting out professionally. "Honestly, Louisa, a nice pair of gloves and boots would be perfect. I know how cold it gets up there and if you can't hold onto the broom tightly because of how cold your fingers are, well, you'll fall off."
Nikolai's eyes narrowed at the change in her facial expression. Growing up with Louisa, you rarely saw her laugh, so Nikolai had become accustomed to this, and what this was, was her laughter. "You haven't got to laugh at me, Lou." His cheeks turned slightly more pink, and he turned the corner out of her sight into the next aisle. Nikolai wasn't going to be laughed at for having feelings. He heard her continue to speak, and he moved a few boxes of toy snitches and looked at her through the slots. "I am happy." Nikolai's tone had become more serious than playful...she had to know something.

Gloves or boots. Okay, she could do that. Louisa nodded in understanding. "Okay. That would be good." She eyed the shelf in particular that housed gloves. There was a huge diversity, in styles, materials, and price. Oh dear heavens, what would be the best for him? Money wasn't the biggest deal to Louisa if only because she was paid extremely well and she rarely spent any of it.
Ah, and now he was calling her out on 'laughing at him'. Obviously he recognized what her 'laugh' looked like. Even though she might seem emotionless at times those that knew her could read just as much emotion and feelings in her expression as a normal person. You just needed to know where to look. "Not at you, Niko." She clarified. No, She'd just never seen him this way, it was... nice. "Like I said, it's good to see you like this. I'm glad I got to see it." She explained as she picked up a pair of gloves and looked them over.

@louisa <3 Nikolai rose an eyebrow at Louisa as she began to look over all of the boots and gloves. It was a bit amusing actually, seeing her struggle so hard to find a gift for Daniel. If he wasn't having such a good time practically laughing at her, he would've helped her sooner. "Here." Chuckling quietly, he reached over and grabbed a large pair of gloves, and Dan's size boots in the same brand. They had liners to keep him warm and were incredibly comfortable, they almost felt like sneakers. "He'll love these."
"Thank you." He gave her a half smile. Nikolai wasn't sure how Louisa had 'seen' him before, or what she considered his personality to be like when he was a child. "I'm hoping I stay like this." Nikolai knew Magdalena was good for him, she had done a lot to help him, and he had reciprocated those emotions and feelings. Now, just for everyone else to realize how happy they were together.
