Hannah was sitting at the head table, watching this entire meeting occur. She saw Susan and Andromeda go out onto the dance floor, and as they danced for a few moments she was so enveloped in how beautiful Andy was, and she found herself waiting for this wonderful moment to happen to their daughter. Philip was here, as a surprise for her, and while Hannah had been behind the entire thing, from matching their robes to planning the times, she decided to stay back for this moment and allow Neville to do the work this time.
She sat back in her chair and watched the entire moment unfold, a moment she will never let go from her memory. Neville dancing with Andy, Susan going to fetch Philip and bring him back, Andy's eyes closing...Neville passing her to their son, and the moment her eyes opened, Hannah felt the tears fall down her cheeks as a large smile appeared on her lips. Her eyes rested on Neville and she lifted her hand up and wiped away the small tear, feeling a rushing amount of love for her husband.

Neville made his way back up to the head table a few minutes later, after finishing the dance with Susan and sending her off to meet Casey (against her knowledge). He was becoming quite the matchmaker tonight, apparently...not that tonight needed it, it was pretty much the most romantic night in five years, and you hardly had to do anything to contribute to the romance other than simply show up.
The Head Table was divided down the middle this year, with one side for Hogwarts staff and the other side for Ministry staff, with two places of honor rather than one. Neville's seat was the Hogwarts side, with Victoire's for the Ministry side. But he passed his seat to stand behind the one next to it and place his hands on the shoulders of the most beautiful woman in the world. “Well, that was fun. Even if I don't want to think about where they are now. Would you care to dance, Mrs. Longbottom?”

@superluigi64 <3 Andy and Philip were now gone, and she laughed to herself. Teenagers. She remembered when she was that age, and although there wasn't much for her back then in the relationship department, it still amused her. And as if on cue, Neville appeared behind her, asking to dance. Hannah smiled and stood, turning towards him. Her red and sheer dress hugged her curves nicely, although she wasn't a big fan of the small sleeves. "I would love to dance, Mr. Longbottom." She decided not to mention the two that ran off, as Neville had said, he didn't want to think about where they were.
Hannah took Neville by the hand, leading him to the center of the dance floor. She eventually stopped, facing him once more. Releasing their hands, her fingers traced up his arm and ended on his shoulder. Hannah lightly grabbed his other hand, and they began to dance in a Waltz. She smiled sweetly. "You look nice, Neville." Her eyes were all on him; no one else mattered in this moment. Just the two of them, dancing to the music, being one.

He followed Hannah out onto the dance floor. They had danced together many times, but the novelty had never faded, at least for him. He doubted he would ever grow tired of holding Hannah in his arms, in any capacity. Though he was a foot taller than she, he still couldn't see over the top of her head, so focused was he on her. “You look nice, Neville.” He grinned. “You don't.” Then he grabbed her by the waist and lifted her in the air to spin her around once, smoothly, in time to the music, before resuming right where they'd left off. “You look incredible.”
A fact she was very clearly flaunting, with the dress she was wearing. She was managing to show off a great deal of skin to everyone tonight. Not that he minded—nobody else would get to do any more than look, after all. “Don't think I'm not paying attention either. Who're you trying to show up by proving you look as good today as you did twenty years ago?” he teased as they shifted direction to avoid some rather exuberant students. “Some of Pansy's lot? Or did you just decide to make everyone jealous tonight?”

@superluigi64 <3 You don't.
And then she was being picked up off the floor and swung around. Her curls flew behind her and she let out a loud laugh. He was so blunt about it, and Hannah knew he was either joking or going to continue on what he said. It was definitely an amusing comment and Hannah couldn't stop grinning. She felt her feet touch the ground once more, and they continued dancing. Neville complimented her and Hannah blew him a kiss. "Well I'm glad I look more than nice and not less than!"
Hannah knew her dress was much more revealing than what she usually would wear. However, it was also beautiful, and she had fell in love with it the moment she put it on...and, well, Hannah hoped that maybe Neville would like it enough to take it off later and enjoy themselves. After their most recent conversation, she was waiting for that moment to happen. Who knows? Maybe Christmas would be that night, or maybe not. A small giggle escaped her lips and she shook her head. "I'm not trying to make anyone jealous! If they are, that's a shame." As they twirled more, Hannah moved closer, whispering into his ear, "I'm just trying to make you excited."

He chuckled. He knew Hannah was never about elevating herself above others. Inducing jealousy wouldn't cross her mind at all. Didn't change the fact that she was in a revealing set of dress robes and a former member of Dumbledore's Army. Nearly all of the former members, male and female, were still in tremendous shape, even with having lived their lives for twenty-six years. There are some things you don't forget, and some habits you can't drop. And that was a good thing, in Neville's opinion. They were all still in the right shape to fight for hours, they all maintained their speed and skill in dueling...the DA was more a force to be reckoned with than the Aurors, and that had to be helping keep the Purifiers in check.
It was quite simply a world where too many people were ready and able to take them in a fight.
“I'm just trying to make you excited.” He grinned and kissed Hannah just below her ear. “My love, you could excite me by being bundled up in blankets and sweating out a sickness in front of the fire. This is practically overkill.”
He laughed and pulled her closer to him, wrapping his arms around her so she would be flush against his chest while he whispered to her. “Not that the gesture isn't appreciated, of course. Why, it's almost enough to make me want to make up an excuse to head up to my office with you just for a bit while the dance is going on.”

@superluigi64 <3 The gentle touch of his lips under her ear sent a shiver up her spine and she sighed quietly, the music filling her ears. It had been a long, long time since her and Neville had even had time together like this. Something similar to a date, just the two of them time, enjoying life together and one another. She didn't want this moment to end, this song to end, and as Hannah twirled once more and ended up close to his chest she smiled. "Well I'm glad I'm not sweating out a sickness right now, I can't see why that would be exciting for you."
Hannah laughed quietly. His whisper traveled through her ear and she felt her cheeks burn. Goodness, years later and Neville could still make her blush and act like a teenage girl in love for the first time. Hannah's hands traced his upper arm, moving up and down as she looked up at him shyly. "You should think of an excuse quickly, Nev...so you can take this dress off." With a quiet giggle, she winked at her husband.

She wasn't going to make tonight easy. Oh Merlin was she not going to make this night easy. “You should think of an excuse quickly, Nev...so you can take this dress off.” Neville groaned and closed his eyes, putting his forehead to hers. How he wished he could skip right to the end of the evening. Alas, it was too important to be here, for too many reasons. “The wait will be worth it. Just wait until I get all these nosy politicians out of my castle,” he whispered back, grinning before suddenly moving back into the dance they were supposed to be dancing.
“Besides, I'm not the only one here with responsibilities. Jayden told me he planned to dance with you once tonight,” he said with a grin. He had hoped Phil would ask to dance with his mother as well, but considering the moment they had earlier, he doubted the boy would have eyes for anyone from Andy all night. Which was perfectly fine and, frankly, not surprising. Still, it would have been a nice surprise. Just so long as they didn't sneak off the way he and Hannah wanted to. “Part of me really wants to keep on eye on the two middle children,” he commented offhandedly, wondering what Hannah thought would happen.

@superluigi64 <3 The small groan that escaped his lips made her eyes widen and her cheeks redden. Goodness, he was so enticing. Hannah felt his forehead rest against hers and she smiled deeply, enjoying the moment between the two of them. It was lovely, being here with Neville, not having a worry in the world. At least, not many worries. Hannah giggled. "I love when you call it your castle...I suppose I can wait a bit longer."
"Ah, yes Jayden. Of course I will dance with him!" Hannah would dance with any of their children, and she found it sweet that he had specifically said he wanted to dance with his mother. It made her feel loved, and she knew Jayden was a gentle boy. The two of them continued dancing around the room, and Hannah tilted her head slightly at Neville's comment of the other two. "Hmm...what's really the worst trouble they could get into, Neville?"

They moved about the dance floor with a quiet grace that was second nature to them. It had taken Neville years of practice to get to where he was a good dancer, but persistence was probably his strongest virtue. Persistence had, after all, taken him from a clumsy, shy child to someone whose name could stop battles before they even started.
Hannah voiced her curiosity at what trouble they could get into. Neville thought for a moment, before deciding to avoid the topic of how Hannah had found Andy earlier in the month and what trouble she was likely getting into. It was a concern for them both, something that would need to be confronted, but until Andy wanted to tell them, they were stuck. They could use force to find out what she did, but that would make them no better than her biological parents. And she deserved better.
So he set that aside. “Besides the obvious trouble that two teenagers in love could get into on a romantic night after pining over one another for four months? That’s our son, and we know he can get into all the troubles. Granted, he’s never had quite the natural talent for it that Jay has, but…”

@superluigi64 OOC: Wanna end on your next post? Probably mentioning Jayden? <3 "I'm sure they're being safe, Neville. They're smart kids, I trust them." Hannah didn't think Neville didn't trust them, but they both knew what worries could come of this. But really, anything could happen. It could go from good to bad, but on a night like this, Hannah would rather think highly of all their children. She also wouldn't want to think that either of them would do anything bad; especially with all the work she and Neville had done to get Philip back here.
As they danced and danced, circling around the floor, Hannah shut her eyes, smiling. Memories and flashbacks ran through her head, everything leading up to this particular moment. The first time she realized her feelings for Neville Longbottom, their first date, the proposal, wedding...all of their children's births. Her eyes opened and stared into his deep ones. "I love you."
