DAILY PROPHET
You have all seen the MAJOR NEWS HEADLINES written by staff, but now you are going to have the chance to write yourselves! The Minor headlines and Quidditch News threads are for member use, just follow the guidelines below for each section.
You will earn 30-50 Galleons for every articles you write. (30 galleons if it's under 500 words, 50 galleons if it's 500 words or more.)
MINOR HEADLINES
The Minor Headlines thread will any news you as members would like to know, or report, or use. The sky is the limit! Make stuff up, report what's happening in threads, whatever you want!
- Daily Prophet reporters can post their own articles.
- Non reporters can write articles, but will need to send the finished article to the daily prophet . Staff will then post it for you under the Daily Prophet account.
- Thes articles can't be major headlines (anything that would affect the entire site, and covered as part of the plot) or anything Quidditch related (Quidditch has their own section).
- If you want an interview quote from a character that isn't currently played, message the staff and they'll be able to give you a quote!
SPORTS NEWS
The Sports section of the news covers primarily Quidditch, since that is the largest magical sport in the UK, but they can cover anything magical sport related.
- Daily Prophet Sports reporters can post their own articles.
- Non sports reporters can write articles, but will need to send the finished article to the daily prophet . Staff will then post it for you under the Daily Prophet account.
- These articles can ONLY be related to magical sports.
- Do not report wins/losses. The staff report that. You do have the option to make up stuff about what happened at the matches AFTER the results have been posted though.
- If you want an interview quote from a character that isn't currently played, message the staff and they'll be able to give you a quote!
