May, 2023
Kings Cross is busy with people heading home early from work to enjoy a sunny summer day. The Hogwarts Express is chugging its way to Platform 9 3/4, ready to deliver the students to their parents for the summer holiday. At first, nobody notices the figures in black that begin to filter in and out of the station, heading for the solid brick wall between Platforms 9 and 10. They did not go noticed for long though. The masked figures disappeared as if by magic, and on the other side, pandamonium set in. Rails being torn apart, guards throats being slashed; this was no mere coincidence, it was an attack.
The Wizarding World was being attacked.

september 2023,
Loud music thundered in her ears and she was surrounded by people she didn’t know. Trying not to bump into anyone, Rina made her way through the crowd, feeling disoriented and confused as to where she was. She saw dancers up on a stage - was she at a strip club? She looked around and finally spotted a familiar face; Nikolai. She reached out towards him and tried to call out his name, but her voice sounded oddly disoriented and garbled. Instead, Nik wrapped his arms around a girl with dark hair and kissed her soundly. Suddenly, her brother was grabbed from behind by masked men. The largest of them whirled him around and punched him in the face. Rina looked on in horror as they continued to pummel at her brother, even as he fell down to the floor, bruised and bloody. One of the men pulled out a knife; its’ silver form glinted in the light as he plunged it downwards, the strange girl's screams mingling with her own…

november 2023,
Irina was with her friends, celebrating Anna’s champion status for the Triwizard Tournament, and she had gone off, presumably to find Dan. Instead, she found herself in a dark room; not a single crack of light was coming through the boarded up windows. She saw a figure, small, dark and pale, oh so pale, stirring feebly on the floor. The door banged open and a tall shadowy figure appeared, and pure terror pierced Rina’s heart. She heard screaming and blood splattered everywhere. It got on Irina’s face, in her mouth, she could taste the metallic texture seeping down her throat…

december 2023,
Rubble, ashes, smoke everywhere it was almost blinding. A body unmoving in the debris, covered in both blood and soot, leg stuck out at an odd angle. Irina didn’t know where she was, but judging from the vast land surrounding her she was standing in the smoldering remains of an estate. She heard something, a soft grunt of pain, and she whipped around. She could see another body, one she had looked away from with the assumption that life had left them, began to move. The figure slowly crawled out towards the center of the floor; the long hair had Irina believe that it was a girl. She seemed familiar, too familiar. The girl reached her destination and Irina moved closer. She watched, eyes wide as the girl wrote four letters, fingers shaking as she used blood from an open wound. H. E. L. P. With a cry, the girl rolled over onto her back and Irina found herself staring at the face of Andromeda Lestrange…
I feel like I should be worried that these are happening more and more frequently. I don't know who to turn to anymore.

january 8th, 2024
Irina dreamed she was at a Masquerade Ball. She didn't recognize anyone with the elaborately detailed masks, but for some reason she didn't care. She danced with the strangers, laughing and having a rather good time. She noticed an intricately carved wooden door, and her curiosity moved her almost like an invisible hand was pushing her towards it. She reached out a hand and pushed it open to find streaming sunlight. Shading her eyes with a hand, she realized that she was standing on the sidelines of a Quidditch pitch. There was someone flying high above her, people in the stands. She recognized the vibrant red hair and canary yellow robs; her sister, Ripley. This must be a practice or something. As Irina watched, she saw a bludger hit towards Ripley, but her sister wasn't moving out of the way. She opened her mouth to yell something, to tell her to look out, but she found her voice was gone. The Bludger made contact with Ripley's side and she was knocked clean off her broom. As if in slow motion, she watched her sister fall, her hair fanning out in front of her, limbs flailing as she came closer to the ground. Why wasn't anyone helping? Why was nobody going to get her? It was as if they were frozen in place. Irina plunged her hands into her gown, groping for her wand to only find it wasn't there. She began to run, but it was too late; Ripleys body made contact with the ground, and though it made no sound, the pit of Irina's stomach felt as though it had been dropped away. Time sped back up again; she reached her sister and fell to the ground beside her. She turned her from her side gently, only to see Ripley's eyes staring back at her; there was no life there, that had been extinguished. Irina drew a shaking hand back to see it covered in blood. Ripley's. She opened her mouth, and the screams that came out were full of a haunting grief she'd never felt.
