@aerick -Beginning of November 2023 The Purifiers hadn't been easy to find. Even with a literal pack of Werewolves on the hunt. But, you should never underestimate the hunting abilities of a wolf. Sarah had gotten a pretty solid lead for a member of the organization. With any luck, this bartender would finally be able to bring the Werewolves and Elaine into contact. Unfortunately her Uncle Fenrir couldn't exactly walk into a night club to confront this lead. But Sarah could. She may have been expelled from Hogwarts but that didn't mean she was an outcast from the Magical community. She could still come and go as she pleased. That and Club Indigo sounded like her kind of scene.
The young woman didn't arrive until the height of the night, when things had really started to pick up. People were dancing, some were hooking up, some were getting drinks, basically it was loud and busy. Exactly how Sarah liked it. With cat like grace she weaved through the crowd, heading towards the bar. As fate would have it the bar tender in question was free at the moment, giving her the perfect opportunity. "Any chance a girl can get a drink? Strongest you have." She leaned up against the bar counter and flashed a smile.

It was another busy night, and the new bartender that Alastor had hired was not living up to Aericks’ very high expectations. He had made a mental note to make sure Elaine knew that this; she would take care of things. Luckily, Aericks’ four years of bartending experience gave him an edge on handling a rowdy crowd, and he was pouring drinks faster with the slip of the hand aid of magic that people were far too drunk to notice. Soon though, the crowd moved from the bar and towards the dance floor. There were no dancers that night, Magdalena had quit and Desirae was nowhere to be found, so they all had to entertain themselves. A girl siddled up to the bar, and Aerick gave her the once over. She was striking, not necessarily the most gorgeous girl he’d ever seen in his life, but she looked like she knew how to have his kind of fun. “Strongest?” he repeated, a smirk playing at his lips. He grabbed a bottle of Absinthe and poured her a shot of it. “Sure you can handle it?” he asked her, the challenge in his voice evident. sarah jane oliveira

Sarah raised an eyebrow at the bartender as he repeated her request and smirked. "Did I stutter?" She answered teasingly. Of course she was serious. She'd spent a long time building a high alcohol tolerance. When you spent half your time partying though, it was understandable. She tilted her head as she watched him prepare the shot, and her grin widened. "Well now. I think I underestimated you. You do know how to have a bit of fun, don't you?" She found herself saying. He'd definitely followed through when she said she'd wanted the strongest he had. Holding out a hand to take the shot glass from him when he was ready, she smirked. "Try me. Let's see just how much I can handle." She could handle most alcohol, but Absinthe was in a league of it's own. It'd be interesting to see just how much she could handle. But hey, as long as she was having fun, screw the consequences.

Aerick merely chuckled as the girl playfully retorted back to his question. “Well miss, some girls say they can handle the strongest, then about ten minutes later they’re a mess on the floor in the bathroom. Don’t really want to see a pretty face such as you get all embarrassed,” he said smoothly. He watched as she knocked back the shot and set the glass back down in front of him again. “Impressive,” he commented. Most people, male or female, usually shuddered, gagged or even vomited from the strength of one Absinthe shot. This girl however barely flinched, so Aerick was impressed. He poured her another shot, then got out a glass filled with ice and filled it with water. “Just in case,” he told her, sliding the water over. He had a feeling this girl could make for an interesting night; he didn’t want her leaving due to extreme intoxication just yet. sarah jane oliveira

Sarah laughed at his comment about some girls. Well, it was a good thing that she wasn't them. No, Sarah played life on the wild, dangerous, and rough side. The more dangerous, the better. "Well, I'm not like them. In tolerance or embarrassment." No, she really didn't embarrass easily. And when she got close, Sarah was more likely to lash out violently.
The bartender didn't hesitate to pour her another shot an set it down in front of her, along with an ice water. She immediately smirked, an eyebrow raised. Just in case? Well, she couldn't blame him. As a bartender he'd probably see more than his fair share of alcohol misshapes. Not only that, but absinthe was powerful. If she downed too much too quickly she'd be in trouble. She didn't hesitate to take the second shot and down it like the first. "I think I'd rather dance a little before taking a few more. I'd ask you to join me, but I'd hate to take you away from thirsty patrons." She teased as she threw down enough coins to cover the two shots. Brushing her hair off her shoulders she smirked and moved away from the bar. The offer was still there, if he wanted to join her, but she wouldn't wait for him. So, on the dance floor, she took the hand of a complete stranger and placed it on her hip as started to move to the music.

Aericks’ eyes never left Sarah as she easily downed the next shot, but smartly decided to dance a little before taking any more. The Absinthe Alastor had purchased for the club was easily the strongest he had ever seen in his life; usually after just one shot he’d have to wipe up girls from the floor who thought they could ‘handle’ it. It was clear to him though that this particular girl had quite a bit of experience with drinking; Aerick would be lying if he said he wasn’t impressed. He watched as she danced; a part of him was itching to drop his cloth and head out there with her. But no; Aerick was working tonight and he had his duties to attend to. Thankfully, Elaine had not been in contact before the club was open on any tasks she wanted him to complete after closing. Just last week he’d brought a new recruit, a Ministry man known as the Infiltrator with him to check on their Imperiused friend. Tonight though, after he’d kicked everyone out, the rest of the night was his to do with as he wished. And if Sarah happened to be around at closing? Then all for the better. sarah jane oliveira

Sarah was quite enjoying herself as she danced with this total stranger. A few minutes in though and she'd turned to glance towards the bar tender, and noticed he was watching her. She smirked as she met his gaze. It was pretty obvious what she was doing. She wanted him to watch, and she'd put on a show If he didn't join her. He hadn't moved though, so she might as well get on with it, hadn't she? Breaking that momentary eye contact she turned back to the gentleman she'd pulled into being her dance partner and pulled him in close to dance some more.
She switched dance partners quite often. Make, female, it didn't matter who it was. Every couple songs she'd break away from the dancing and return to the bar for another drink, trying a concoction of different beverages as the night went on, but always returned to dancing before she had too much. Sarah knew how much she could handle, and she didn't want to collapse halfway through the night. Finally the crowd began to thin as patrons left for the night. Some had to be escorted by friends. Some called taxis. A rare few were like her and surprisingly coherent despite drinking a large quantity of alcohol. They'd been smart enough to pace themselves.
Moving back to the bar, she leaned against the counter and sighed, sounding extremely bored now that so many people had left. "You know, there's one person I still haven't had a good time with tonight." she started, that sigh giving way to a smirk. "Maybe you can let me know when he'll be free?"

Aerick had been watching Sarah for the duration of the night; she had made sure of it. The way she danced with a variety of partners, still making her way back to him for drinks, any man with two eyeballs would be blind not to notice her. But he never left his post; he was a reliable worker, both for the bar and for Elaine, and he would not do anything to damage that reputation. Since the death of Desirae, Elaine had been very mistrusting of everyone around her. He would not be a fool to do anything to further break her trust. Aerick would not pretend though that he was relieved when the end of the night came sooner than later, and Sarah made her way back up to him. He leaned forward, his forearms resting on the bar as she made her little suggestion. He smirked, letting his icy blue eyes drop for a moment before meeting hers again intently. “Ten minutes. He also happens to have a very fine bottle of scotch available in his apartment down the street,” he said smoothly, knowing full well what he was suggesting. She was no fool; she’d catch on immediately. sarah jane oliveira

Sarah really had to hand it to this bartender. He had a will of iron, dutifully doing his job and sticking to the bar. It was absolutely impressive to say the least. But sometimes patience was a good thing. IT was like building pressure. Keep waiting long enough, wait for it to build, and the release would be so satisfying. He'd leaned forward on the bar top, just like her, and even though there was still space between them it was closer than what you'd consider appropriate. She'd been dropping hints all night, so it was good to see that he not only had picked them up, but accepted them. She slowly grinned as he answered, making his own intentions clear. "Ten minutes? Hmmm. I suppose I can wait that long. I do love good scotch." was her flirtatious answer. Compared to the whole night, ten minutes was nothing. "Mind telling him to hurry up for me? I don't want to be kept waiting any longer than I have to." She whispered before pushing away from the bar top.
Ten minutes did go by pretty quick. She'd decided to lean against the wall as she waited, her eyes closed and head tilted back as she counted the seconds and minutes. He shouldn't be much longer...

Aerick couldn't lie he was extremely intrigued as to what Sarah had to offer; she was a beautiful girl and he was a single man who could do whatever with whomever. But he took his time, knowing that good things came to those who waited. Soon enough though he was done closing up and he stepped out of the club, waving his wand to lock the locks of the door behind him. He gave the woman the smallest of smiles. "Just a few blocks down," he told her, setting off for his flat knowing she was in step beside him. Aerick unlocked the door and let Sarah in; after closing it he crossed over to the bar cart he and Uriah had purchased when they had moved in, which housed the best spirits the two men had to offer. He tossed a glance over at Uriahs' bedroom door; it was wide open and dark which meant Uriah was not home that evening. Strange, he wondered where the other man had gotten to. Internally shrugging, he got out two tumblers and poured some ice and his finest scotch into both. He held up the two glasses to the lamplight, then handed one to Sarah. "Cheers," he said smoothly, toasting her before taking a long sip. The liquor felt good, soothing pouring down his throat after a long night of working. sarah jane oliveira

The walk to his flat was short, and soon the door was closed tight behind them. As he prepared a drink for each of them she took a moment to look around, her gaze quickly taking in her surroundings with expert precision. She turned back just as she heard the bottle of scotch set back down. He was holding out a glass to her. She smirked, moving back towards him and immediately took it. "Cheers." She repeated, as she lifted her glass to her lips and matched his sip, her eyes never turning from his.
Sarah didn't finish it. Instead after that long sip she set the glass down and took another step closer. "You know, I still owe you that good time." She slowly stated, taking yet another step. She was not just a breath away. She didn't need to say plainly what she was suggesting. But, she wanted to make sure he was up to that sort of fun..

Aerick was fully aware of what Sarah was implying, he had known from the near moment she had walked into the bar. Any man who was not him would have probably given in for a quick good time in the back of the bar, but Aerick was patient. He did not like to mix business and pleasure at Club Indigo, though he knew plenty of people who were inclined to do so. Aerick did not know, nor did he really want to count the amount of times he had banged open a door to either the broom closet or a bathroom after patrons had complained about a long wait time to find a couple indecently exposed in the middle of a throng of passion. Not that he hadn’t been offered the chance to discover the inner workings of the broom closet before, but he preferred somewhere he knew was cleaner and less likely to be disturbed. He drained the glass and set it down as she came to a stop in front of him, their faces mere inches apart. Smirking, he reached out a hand and gently traced his fingers from her hip bone, up her side, then down her arm. He stepped closer so that he was pressed against her, and tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear. He leaned in...then stepped back, with a tantalizing smirk. Without saying a word, he walked over to his bedroom and opened the door. He turned and inclined his head slightly at Sarah, as if to say, after you.

Ah, Sarah liked the way the night had ended, in a stranger's bed. A stranger, might she had, that was still nameless to her. But she really didn't care about that. He didn't know hers either, and hadn't brought it up. But they hadn't talked much after those last drinks so it wasn't like they could exchange information.
After their fun, she knew she needed to get to the point of all this. Tonight wasn't just all fun and games though. Sarah had a point to all of this. So, in the minutes after, when she could hear his breathing slow just enough to tell her that he was starting to doze, she finally acted. Shifting, she moved as if she was rolling over in her sleep, towards him. No response. So, knowing that he was relaxed just enough to not suspect anything she moved faster. With almost blinding precision she'd sat up and held the knife she'd carefully kept hidden (inside her boot) against his collarblade. She smirked darkly. "So I think we should finally talk. I heard a rumor about a very interesting friend of yours, and that you might be able to help someone get in contact with her."

Aerick had been properly exhausted after the….liaison with Sarah. He’d made it clear he was apathetic whether or not she stayed the night; if she wanted to leave he wouldn’t be too fussed and if she stayed, well..he wouldn’t have minded a round two. What he wasn’t expecting was to be woken up by feeling something sharp and cold pinpricking his collarbone. His eyes flew open but he remembered to breathe evenly, calming down his momentary surprise. Then she spoke, and Aerick couldn’t help but smirk. “That’s something you could have easily brought up at any time throughout the night sweetheart,” he told her smoothly. Of course Sarah was looking for Elaine; the dark lady was the only reason anyone of magical blood sought out Club Indigo as a place to go. He then raised an eyebrow, his eyes directed at the knife. “If you’ll kindly remove that from my neck I’d be more than happy to chat about this friend of mine. But first, a name would be nice,” he instructed her. He could feel the muscles throughout his body flex and react; the python was stirring within him. It would be easy to transform and quickly wrap himself around this womans body, but he preferred a verbal negotiation if possible. sarah jane oliveira

Oh, he was good. His breathing fluctuated for only a moment. His eyes had shot open but were wide only a moment. Sarah's sources had been right. There was no way he wasn't invovled with Elaine Dupree. Not with that reaction. As he smirked up at her she just smiled widely. "Why would I bring it up sooner and ruin all the fun?" No, she'd needed a good release tonight, and she'd needed information. Two birds with one stone. As he asked her to remove the knife though she raised an eyebrow. She almost left it there, but the fact that he'd basically agreed to tell her what she wanted? Well, might as well toss him a bone there.
So, slowly she pulled the knife away from his neck. "Would you prefer my name, or the name of the person who sent me?" She asked sweetly as she twirled the knife between her hands. "If you want mine, you can call me Sarah. As for who sent me... That would be my uncle. Fenrir Greyback. And he's very interested in meeting Miss Dupree."
