That swallow, followed by a deep breath, before finally responding... It made Maria smirk just a touch. She knew she'd frazzled Viola, if only a little. And frazzling Viola made all of this worth it. "I'm not the most patient person, you know." Maria answered slowly and softly. But for Viola? Well, she could make a few exceptions...
Viola had a valid point about not being able to have her fun in Azkaban. "You'd visit, wouldn't you? As long as I got to see your face I think I'd be quite content." Of course Maria had no intention of going to Azkaban, she was just a merciless flirt. Every chance she saw she took, especially with Viola.
This... possessive concept, of Viola being hers, and her being Viola's... It was quite strange. Maria did get quite possessive, she knew that. But only with people she was extremely close to. Like Elias. But that was a completely different sort of possession. Her arm held onto Viola's waist just a little tighter as she grinned into that equally possessive and demanding. It was the sort of kiss Maria had been trying to get out of Viola for so long. Passionate and confident, sure of what they finally wanted. Because while Viola wouldn't tell Maria what they really wanted she already knew the answer.
@viola (hahaha, calling end to this.)

Viola knew, all too well, how impatient Maria was. But thus far, Maria’s impatience had been matched by their stubbornness, which meant that they did a strange, strange dance as far as physical affection went, sometimes giving and sometimes taking, but all times looking at the way the other person was maneuvering. It was exhilarating, even if it wasn’t the sort of dance that people normally did when they were in a relationship. Viola wasn’t normal.
Viola smirked when Maria asked if they would visit her in Azkaban. “Maybe.” Truth was, it depended on what Maria did to land there. Viola wasn’t very tolerant of, say, murder, but there were some people who deserved to be roughed up a little, or stolen from a lot.
Maria didn’t comment on being Viola’s, but they were going to take the lack of protest as agreement to what they had said, especially since the logic was sound – or at least as sound as logic could be when it came to affairs of the heart. When Maria tightened her arm around their waist, Viola knew that they had assumed correctly. Maria was under new ownership…for the time being.
