She sat in the corridor for really what felt like hours. Seated against the cold dark stones that entombed the hallways of hogwarts. Dominique had potions homework that she had to finish, and her eyes wandered to every passerby. Observing them was, at that moment, far more interesting than anything the page could possibly feed her. Getting homework done two days ahead of time was difficult for this very reason. Without the feeling of stress that pits a stomach, the less likely she was to get it done. But she was trying, because Minnie plus a multitude of stresses was not a sight that anyone wanted to encounter. It was like if every potentially flammable object were placed in a room, and someone lit a match. Obviously she hated this about herself, because normally the girl is easy going and laid back. But as soon as homework, and the potential of failing is thrown into the mix, flags go up.
Knowing this, she packed up her potions book, procrastinating the dauntless task for yet another day, another hour, and wishfully in another life. She stood up, looking around before filing in with the rest of the students, finding herself being drawn to fresh air, chilly as the air is already, and it's merely october. Her Ravenclaw robes were a bit big on her, not bothering to tailor them, much to her mother's dismay. Her wavy hair fell to one side of her face and her freckles brightly shining on her face like stars. At once to being out in the courtyard, Minnie felt better. Like the fresh and slightly chilled air swept through and erased the cobwebs of her earlier mindset. She seated herself on a bench, staring up at the cloudy sky, inwardly meditating away her stress and negative thoughts.
