Julian had already three cases of bat bogey hexes that weren't done properly. Leaving a cavernous space for bats to chill out instead of flying out like they were supposed to. It was little injuries like this that he was in charge of for now, when he wasn't shadowing a well known healer for the rest of the time. He was slowly nearing the end of his training here and has, thus, been introduced to bigger and more important cases of injuries. He had gotten very close to many of the patients and staff around the place, being his usual cool and collected manner, and loved every bit of his training this far. Sure, there were the numerous throw away cases, but they usually made good stories and healthy recoveries. It was when he had to be the bearer of bad news that JC suffered so brilliantly. His need to not hurt people drew him to lighter cases, ones sure of recovery- though he knew this wouldn't always be the case.
Luckily during his time here, JC had encountered many miracles. Ones that others were sure of failure and yet came through. Freeing people from a devastating end. He ran a hand through his hair, in his scrubs and lab coat, checking a few charts and smiling gently at a passing patient that had checked in earlier that day and was now leaving from a skin reaction to a normal hair colour jinx. The boy had enthusiastically told him all of the stories of the previous hours, and how funny it was to watch the look on the other students faces as their hair changed colour. JC enjoyed his company thoroughly, and gave him a slight wink, taking a chart off the wall and turning into a room.
"Hello," he greeted, without really looking up at first, reading over the chart, considering the injury and spells that were said to have caused it. Raising his eyes, he cleared his throat, "I'm JC. Here to just check up after Madam Smith's initial healing." He told the woman, smiling slightly and putting out his hand. "It's Selliah Davenport? Did I pronounce that right?" He furrowed his brow, knowing his way with words was obviously less than excellent.

Curse that man!
Curse him to the bottom of the black lake!
Did he not know how busy she was?! And the importance of what she had to do! She did not have TIME for this!
The young woman was never one to enjoy laying in bed. Even when she was sick with a cold--she would keep on going and going until she basically keeled over. A terrible habit she knew and one that was going to kick her booty one of these days. But she couldn't help it! She didn't like sitting here doing nothing. Or laying here doing nothing. Of course she had little say in the matter this time. Drat that fool whoever he was! Drat him and his curses and his apparent hatred for aurors! She hadn't seen who it was or seen them coming. She had been out in Diagon Alley getting a few things she would need for her stay in Hogsmeade when the attacker hit her out of nowhere. She saw the flash of a figure as he disappeared down a nearby alley and she was going to go after them of course (cause no one attacked her and got away with it) but of course it had to be a curse that made her sick. Very sick. On the upside it was just a glancing blow as the figure was trying not to be seen and had ran the second that they had been noticed and so she was only going to be stuck here for a couple of days--three at very most--while they made sure she was all right.
But still--! It was 48 to 72 hours of her sitting here! Doing nothing! While her co-workers needed her. The students needed her to be there. Ugh! Annoying--it was very annoying. She was annoyed at the situation and annoyed at herself for not realizing something was off until it was almost too late. She had been so focused on her dratted list. Of course it was Diagon Alley though--who would thought an attack however attempted and failed it was--would have happened there. Of course there were a LOT of things happening that a lot of people wouldn't have figured. So why was this different?
Another student was gone--dead--and they hadn't been able to stop it. She had seen the Ravenclaw's body and she couldn't help but beat herself up over it. She should have done something--they should have! It was all so damn irritating and aggravating! How could this be happening under their noses?!
Her thoughts were interrupted as she heard footfalls approaching and heard a voice calling out a greeting toward her. She sat up and looked at the door as the man walked in. She recognized him--he was the one tailing the healer that had helped her out. JC was his name was it? Always nice to know. Sadly she wasn't meeting him under better circumstances. As in -- she being healthy and they being probably being somewhere other then the hospital. She nodded as he said he was here to check up on her. "Thanks. I always appreciate the helping hand when needed." she replied and she truly had. Cause without healers half of them would be dead long before they should be. She smirked softly as he took a crack at her name--he seemed unsure of himself which really he shouldn't have been as he had gotten it right after all.
"Yep. That's me here. You got it right." she said and then went quiet to let him do whatever he had to do...she just wanted to get better and get back to work already but that was probably obvious already....
...she was never going to claim to be the most patient auror ever.
