Prompted by my having gotten a new phone, some of us began to wonder… If our characters were Muggles living in the now, what phones would they have, and what accessories (if any) would they have for their devices? (As an added bonus, what would their backgrounds/home screens/lock screens be?)
With that in mind, here’s what my characters would have:
@barbara would have an older model Android, probably a black Samsung Galaxy S II or similar. She’d probably have some sort of a case on it, but it would be pretty generic and some sort of solid color. Her background would be an old photo of her family.
@ginevra would probably have a Gold iPhone 6—slightly out-of-date but in good condition. Her case would definitely be protective, maybe this case (OtterBox iPhone 6/6s
Defender Series Case in Seacrest) or this one (Speck CandyShell Grip iPhone 6s & iPhone 6 Case in Sand Grey/Aloe Green). Her background and lock screen would probably be something that lily luna potter changed it to. Let's be honest.
@gwendolen would have an iPhone 6S in Gold with the Gold/Silver Glitter Star Case from Skinnydip London. Her lock screen would probably be a cute selfie with @dastan , and her background would be a mandala like this.
@lucy would have an iPhone 7 in Rose Gold with the Candy Fur Case from Skinnydip London. Her background would probably be something like this. Her lock screen would probably be some dumb Snapchat from Ondina Nell Weasley .
maxima ruqayyah greyback would have an iPhone 5S in Gold, and she would have some sort of silicone case on it. Her background and lock screen would be her cat.
parvati patil macmillan would have an iPhone 7 in Gold with the Rebecca Minkoff Leather iPhone 7 Slider Case in Nude. Her background and lock screen would probably be the same photo of her sons.
@sophie would have an iPhone 7 Plus in Rose Gold with the SAOIRSE Oriental Blossom iPhone 6/6s/7 case in Light Grey from Ted Baker. Her lock screen and background would be Audrey Hepburn or something.
@tatiana would have an iPhone 6S Plus in Rose Gold with the Speck CandyShell Clear with Glitter iPhone 6s Plus & iPhone 6 Plus Case in Beaming Orchid/Gold Glitter on it. Her background would be something motivational, like this, but her lock screen would probably be her with her sisters.
taylor renée jackson would have a Samsung Galaxy S6 in Black Sapphire and probably wouldn't have a case for it. It would probably be cracked somewhere but still functional. Their background would probably be David Bowie.
@winifred would have an iPhone 6 in Black, and her case would be something like this. Both her lock screen and her background would be of her with @xanthippe and Isaac.
