@edmund instead of going home to sleep after a long night shift, casey had decided to venture to hogsmeade. he'd had a rather strong craving for something sweet while he'd been on their last call of the night and he'd thought what better place to fill a craving like that than at honeydukes. plus there was the bonus of being able to catch up with some of the people he knew at hogwarts. after buying the candies he wanted, he'd found a bench to sit on, taking out a piece of peppermint bark and he ate the first piece while watching the world go by around him. before he left he thought about taking a walk down to the shrieking shack, after all it had been a popular place to visit when he'd been at school. he was hoping that visiting a place he used to visit with abby, james and finn would help with closure. he pulled out another piece of the bark and broke some off with his teeth, smiling a little as he spotted a familiar face walking down the path he was sitting next to.

The shrieking shack was Edmund's favorite place to visit in Hogsmeade. He didn't really have a reason why or anything, he just always loved going there. Quite often, it was the first spot he went to on a Hogsmeade weekend, and today was one of those days. He stood outside the gate, looking in at the shack as his mind thought about a million different things. He was thinking about his classes, his future and friends ... Addi. Ed didn't know if things with her were ever going to go right. At the moment they definitely seemed like they weren't. It was just so weird and he still felt a little broken from the whole situation. Even before they started dating, Addi was his best friend and they'd spent most of their time with one another. Now he didn't see her at all. It was strange. He was so wrapped up in his thoughts that he didn't even notice someone approaching.
