The holidays had come and gone, the children had gone home to their families to wait for the start of the new school year. The students had gone away on incredible adventures, they had seen wonderful places and sampled fantastic food, seen musicals and plays! Had their summer flings and danced on the edge of enticement...
Then there was Lily, who spent the better half of three months... with her mother and aunt, mostly knitting and raising puffskiens. She hadn't gone on an adventure, gone to Quidditch games with her mother, or even done any dragon training with her uncle this summer. She hadn't even gone to her Uncle George's shop this summer and worked. She just stayed home and read books, or cooked with Grandma Molly. But that was alright. She liked it that way. It was much more quiet and much more her style.
Now that classes had started again, Lily was starting to get overwhelmed. What did she do best when she was overwhelmed? Find something to calm her down. She had bought some weed from one of the students, and she was now sitting down at the black lake, trying to determine if she wanted to smoke it. She had smoked weed before, at parties, and with other people, but she wasn't one to just sit by herself and smoke a joint for the hell of it. She was just having so much trouble handling to the stress of fifth year. She held it in her hand, her book bag sitting next to her as she had her feet dangling over the black lake, biting her lip while trying to decide.

The start of the new school year was nothing Elias was overly anticipating or jubilant about. It was his final year of schooling and the work rate of the seventh year was put into overdrive. N.E.W.Ts this, N.E.W.Ts that, that was all he heard from teachers, students and even his father who had recently gave him a stern talk about the severity of the exams. Even though he wasn't taking it all as serious as he should have been he knew very well what he was doing. Sure laziness sometimes got the better of him, but he just wished everyone would take it easy and relax. Adding to it all was also the drama of moving to a new school. Hogwarts was a complex enigma when it came to getting around and he found himself irritated on more than one occasion after taking the wrong turn. Maybe it was just his poor navigational skills or his mind was clogged up with so many thoughts that he probably wasn't thinking straight.
He figured some time off would do him good and what better way was there to relax than under a tree somewhere on the grounds. From the castle, Elias walked onto the grounds overlooking the Black Lake. As he stepped into the open environment, he let out a gentle sigh at the fresh air of the space. Peaceful and tranquil, this was what he needed to unwind a bit. With most students in the castle the area was relatively empty and quiet, but Elias spotted a lone figure sitting in the distance. He wasn't sure who the person was or what they were doing, all he could tell was that it was a girl judging by the long fiery locks that danced to the music of the gentle breeze.
Adjusting the straps of his backpack, he walked towards the Black Lake to greet the female. As he came to a stop next to her he noticed the white rolled-up paper in her hand. There was no mistaking what it was and Elias was rather surprised to see anyone in the school with a joint in their hands. "Skipping class to smoke weed I see." he said with a friendly smile.
