Hey guys! I hope you’re all enjoying the 3rd Birthday celebration and carnival! Our activity check has just come to an end so I will be noting all the new openings below. Before I do though we have a few announcements to get out of the way.
First up on the agenda! The staff is going to be going through some major reorganizations. Basically the staff will be split into two teams. Technical and Lore. The Technical team will be headed up by ADMIN DEE and in charge of application review, claims, basically all things out of character. co-admin lisa and @jilly will be on this team under Dee. The Lore team will be headed up by Admin Sora . They will be in charge of news articles/gossip columns, main plots, sub plots, and pretty much all things in character. You may notice that we don’t have any other members of staff so… we will be taking on one new staff member! This new staff member will be on the Lore team, under Sora. The changes will, of course, be a little rocky at first but once we get things down solid we feel these changes will help the staffs reaction time, and also ensure that we have many interesting plots starting and ending to keep all of us engaged.
So, please welcome @puck as a Lore Moderator! Puck is an active member, who really knows how to keep a plot interesting and fun, and we know she will do amazing in her position as a Lore Moderator. We have high hopes for her, and are excited to her soar to new heights.
We will be updating and changing the activity rules for all members. Previously, to remain active we asked for ONE post from each member in a three week period. Starting today this rule is being adjusted. The new requirements to be considered active on ALOHOMORA are as followed: one post per character in a four week (month) period. What this means is that you can have characters become inactive if you don’t use them at least once a month. If this happens the staff will PM you letting you know that the character in question is about be marked as inactive if you don’t post within a week. If a characters goes in active it is as if the character is gone and you will be required to go through the acceptance process to get them back.
