@jamie <3 A carnival was occurring. Elias had never really been to a carnival, not that he could recall at least. It seemed to be a fun idea, and he'd had asked Maria to go with him, but he couldn't find her lately. After what had happened a few weeks ago, Elias was truly trying to be around her much more and to just be as close as they used to. Unfortunately they were beginning to drift apart; whether it was because of personal things, or the tournament, the Bulgarian had no idea. All he knew, was that he needed his cousin and best friend back, no matter the situation.
Elias entered the carnival area, eyes widening at all of the things that he saw. This looked like a bright, colorful party, and Elias knew he needed to just get in there and have fun. Whether it be by himself, with someone else, or with a large group of people, it was going to happen. Smiling brightly, Elias went straight for a food cart with this multi-colored sticky concoction that looked like pink and blue clouds. He ordered the largest size that they had, and once it was given to him, he took a big bite, chewing happily.

The carnival was interesting, to say the least. Jamie had to admit that she was happy to have an excuse to be outside but not on the grounds of Hogwarts, and the school had been good about allowing the students to come and go as they pleased, as long as no skipped their classes for carnival related activities. The Hufflepuff was currently scoping the carnival out; she had gathered up the courage to ask Liona Zabini to go with her on a date, and she didn’t want to be wandering around aimlessly when Liona was with her. Knowing where everything was would make the date go by more smoothly. The only problem with that was that Jamie was still wandering around aimlessly… She was just doing it alone. Even though she had been given some tokens at the entrance to the carnival, Jamie wasn’t playing any games. She was trying to memorize where everything was, and doing that wasn’t as easy when her memory was interrupted by the loudness and brightness of the games, and the excitement of winning the prizes. Jamie was looking around, imprinting as many of the games and rides and food carts into her mind as possible, when she bumped into the back of someone. “Oh! Sorry!” She exclaimed. She obviously hadn’t been playing enough attention.

@jamie <3 Thankfully Elias had swallowed his large bite of cotton candy before someone had pushed him in the back. Eyes wide, he turned around, and saw Jamie. They seemed to bump into each other very often...literally bump into one another. It was amusing, and with all the sugar rushing through him, he laughed. She seemed to be apologetic, but he waved it away. The two of them had fought quite often, but at this moment, Elias had no cares in the world. Yes, he wanted to fix things with Jamie; she was his sister. But he also wanted her to just apologize. And if he acted like he didn't care, maybe she would.
He held the big cone of sugar out in front of him and grinned. "Look at this! Have you ever had any? You should try some. Would you like some?" Elias offered to buy her one of her own. His large brown eyes were wide, and he knew this was probably a bad idea. Too much sugar never agreed with Elias; not his attitude or stomach. It was a definite that he'd be getting quite sick later, but right now he was just very hungry and wanted to play everything possible.

Oh. She had run into Elias! Jamie didn’t know why it had taken her that long to figure that simple fact out. Probably because there was a clown smiling at her, and Jamie had to give him a weak smile and wave before he would move on and go work on “entertaining” someone else. Jamie didn’t have a fear of clowns, but that one in particular looked like he was much too old to be working as a clown in a carnival full of children. He laughed at her, and Jamie cocked her head, before realizing that Elias was holding a cone of cotton candy. A sugar rush would definitely explain his giddy behavior. Elias asked her if she had ever had any cotton candy, and Jamie nodded. “My mother and I would get it sometimes.” She said vaguely, a pinching feeling in her heart reminding her of how her last attempt at interacting with her mother had gone. When her brother asked if she wanted any, though, Jamie shook her head. “I’m trying to focus on memorizing the layout of the carnival.” She explained to him. “I’m, uh, bringing someone here later on a date.” Jamie said.
