Amid the pure chaos, Dominic finally escaped Cecelia blocking him by the wall. She was playing alright so she was fine... right? There was no need to worry about the girl. This was Quidditch, he didn't have the time for that. Before Cecelia could follow him, Daniel zoomed over to block her from following. Good.
Suddenly, the Quaffle was in the air with no one touching it. For a split second, Dominic had his chance. He zoomed forward and caught it, bursting away from the group and toward the goal posts. Sadly, Dom didn't have a chance to score at this moment. He grumbled, making the necessary choice to start a pass to Thalia. Madison, silly little blonde girl, almost intercepted it but Thalia was quick. Dom sighed with relief, staying near Thalia and trying to remain open as they zoomed toward the goal posts. He realized Jamie was nowhere to be seen and he turned to look for her, but the rain was aggressive now. Why didn't he wear goggles? Oh! There she was, dodging bluger hits from Cameron from the other team. Dominique was back there trying to help her. Dom rolled his eyes and turned forward.
Up ahead, Edmund Windsor was looking a bit lost, maybe not even being able to see that they were coming. This worked to their advantage. Dominic nodded at Thalia at the last second, then lifted his arms to feign that he was about to score (when he didn't even have the ball) and Thalia threw the Quaffle, scoring.

This was utterly ridiculous. Edmund was not a fan of losing anything, but especially when it came to Quidditch. He loved the game (which was one reason why he volunteered to play in the game even though he couldn't be his normal position). However, the rain was causing a big problem and he let in more goals than he ever intended. After the most recent play by the last team, he growled and decided that the rain wasn't important. Winning was, and there was no way they'd lose just because he couldn't keep the ball out of the dang hoops.
He squinted through the rain, noticing that his teammates seemed to be struggling quite a big. Dominique and Daniel were both covering Roxy and Madison pretty intensely. Cecelia was nearby, but he wasn't sure if she was trying to help him or if she was trying to decide who she should go after with the bludgers. He didn't really have time to focus on his team though, because he was being bombarded.
Jamie came first, trying to trick Ed as she approached and threw the Quaffle toward the hoops. Edmund dove, grinning when he caught the ball before she scored. There. He could do this. He looked through the rain and tried to pass to Roxy, but then Thalia came out of nowhere, catching the ball and shooting it right back without hesitation. Edmund, acting on pure instinct, went toward the middle hoop and was able to catch the ball. This time he tried to Madison, but she was too distracted by Daniel and Jamie caught the ball. She tried to feint to the left goal, but at the last second Ed suspected her and was able to block it, but just barely. His fingers tapped the ball out of the way and Dominic was the one to catch it. Edmund growled, yelling something at his team that he couldn't even understand. Really, this was just ridiculous! Dominic made the next shot, which Edmund blocked with his broom, whacking it right back at the opposing chaser. Great.
However, to his great surprise, Dominic hit the ball with both hands instead of catching it. Next thing he knew, Roxy had the ball and was off. Finally. Edmund took a breath, surprised at how relieved he was that the ball wasn't coming back at him. Adrenaline was rushing through him, but at the same time he was incredibly proud of himself. He did a great job with that.
From somewhere not too far away, he heard a voice that was unmistakably Lily Potter. She was chanting something ... and it took him a moment to realize what exactly she was saying. Then he heard her and couldn't help himself. He started laughing way too hard. She was chanting "Windsor is our King!" He'd be surprised if anyone else did something like that ... but this was Lily and that just seemed like her.

This game was intense but Zita wouldn’t have it any other way, even if she had been previously frustrated with the way things were going. Roxy had the quaffle now and was coming her way fast. She was ready for it, of course, the adrenaline pumping straight into her core. At the start of things, her game had been a little bit shaky but with the rain pouring down as it was, she was really feeling the heat of the game. Through the spray of the rain, Zita noticed suddenly that it wasn’t just Roxy coming towards her with the quaffle.
All three of the Alpha chasers were making their way towards her.
She smirked, gripping her broom tight in her hands and steadying herself, eyes narrowing in anticipation. Just as they were closing in on the goal posts, Zita watched as Roxy tossed the ball to Lily. She leaned forward just a bit and she was ready for the pass when it came. Lily threw the quaffle directly at her and she whipped her broom hard to the left, hitting the quaffle away from the goal. It was short lived though. The ball went flying to her right and Lily swept in snatching it from its flight pattern. She let out a quick breath of air in frustration; none of her own team’s chasers could free themselves enough to get down towards the goals to catch the rebound. From her position, Zita still saw the look of rage that overtook the redhead and she couldn’t help but smirk again, a bit of nervousness ticking in her brain.
The Gryffindor was going to come back around for another shot, of that she was certain.
Her eyes followed the movement of the three chasers easily as they circled and hovered around the goal posts. Zita wiped her face of the pelting rain and just as her hand cleared her eyes, she noticed that the quaffle was no longer in Lily’s possession. Madison was barreling straight towards their goals. With quick movements, Zita dove towards the shortest of the three goals just as Madison went for the shot. She threw her fist out just in time, hitting it away from the inside of the goal. She started to feel triumphant, only to turn and realize that the quaffle was flying back into the opposing team’s possession. Where was her team? She growled as she flew back to her original position, keeping herself in the middle of the three goals for an equal opportunity to fly to them all.
It was then that she heard the sound of someone yelling at her from farther down the pitch. Dominic Dippet, who’d mostly been useless since the game started, was yelling a number of equally useless commands at her. Her concentration broke and her frustration wouldn’t allow her to ignore him. "Why aren’t you over here catching the blocked passes!" she yelled out, throwing her hands in the air. The rain was so heavy now that it was getting harder to ignore the droplets that were falling in her eyes. She wiped at the water, her frustration clear in her movements. She wasn’t expecting them this time. When she felt it was safe to open her eyes again, it was to the sight of Roxy once again rushing the goals. She was too close for Zita to anticipate her moves. She was too close for her to prepare.
The quaffle had already been released from her grip when Zita got a good grip onto her broom. She dove to the right in an attempt to stop it from entering the goal. It wasn’t a good call. Her heart stopped painfully in her chest as her broom flew towards the edge of the goal post and she pulled with all of her might, narrowly missing what would have been a very painful injury. They’d already had one this game, they didn’t need another. The sound of the bell ringing to alert of someone scoring rang out and anger overtook her. Where the heck was her team? She turned her broom around, returning to her initial position and waiting for the next quaffle to come her way.

This game needed to end soon.
CJ swiped irritably at her eyes, having discarded her goggles already. The rain had been misting them up, hindering the Gryffindor Seeker's ability to spot the Snitch, and she was willing to endure the discomfort and pain if it meant she could see that elusive golden ball.
They were behind on points. All the players were in the air like it was the final of the season; something CJ respected a lot, but something that also meant the pressure was, especially between her and Ripley.
The other team had scored four times already, as opposed to their three. As she flew around, desperately searching, some part of the De Luca girl had to acknowledge that Edmund had skill, despite their rocky first meeting, given that he'd blocked several of their Chasers' attempts at goal. Flying through the pitch, she caught Madi's eye and smirked at her, knowing that her best friend would see the challenging glint in her brown orbs. Despite the playful competitiveness, she would be genuinely happy for her surrogate sister if they won...
... but she was still going to do everything in her power to keep that from happening.
She zipped between players, seeing Ripley doing the same out of the corner of her eye. The girl was a good Seeker, it was easy to see. CJ had to be careful with her motions, not wanting to make it any easier on her competition to have an edge on her. Her keen eyes searched the pitch, studiously ignoring the quick movements of the Quaffle, until a flash caught her eye.
There.
The Snitch was dancing mischievously around Jamie, although the Chaser seemed totally unaware of that. CJ bit back a grin, knowing that her job would be exponentially harder if anyone realized that she had spotted the golden ball. Maintaining a casual expression, the Seeker pointed her broom towards the oblivious girl, as though she were just going to block the goals. She felt her excitement levels spike the closer she got, but of course, that was the moment the blasted thing shot up straight into the sky.
Ripley started suddenly in the same direction and CJ cussed out colourfully, knowing that the ruse was bust.
Yanking her broom harshly upwards, CJ felt her stomach bottom out at the sudden change in trajectory. She clenched her teeth and pushed on, familiar to the feeling by now, and shot upwards, leaning almost flat against her broom until she increased her speed enough to get half a pace in front of the other Seeker. It wasn't enough though, she knew that much, especially since she was so bloody short!
Wait... her height could be an advantage, here.
Swiping one hand over her eyes, which were stinging harshly from the rain pounding into her eyes, that was more than likely affecting Ripley as well, CJ sent a quick mental apology to @kyles1, because her sister would kill her if she happened to look up just then.
Lifting herself with her foot lodged against the bottom of her broom, she leaned forward, lifting her body completely off the broom save for her foot, and her hands around the top of her broom. With the lessened weight against her broom and the added height, she was going faster, and reaching further, so CJ doggedly pushed past the utter fear that clenched her stomach at the move.
One slip and she was going down. Way, waaay down.
Savagely pushing that thought aside, the Gryffindor Seeker reached out and swiped with the same deadly accuracy that she had when she was out target practicing with her dad. Cool metal curled around her palm and a harsh sound that was a mix of a cry of relief and a whoop of excitement left her lips.
The game was over.
Quickly dropping her body and curling her legs around the broom, she tightened her legs abruptly to level out in the sky. Her heart stuttered with relief at being horizontal again, and before she could do anything else, she raised her gaze to the other Seeker.
"You, mate, are a beast on that broom," she called out with a grin, respect shining in her brown eyes. It was her way of telling Ripley that she was an amazing player, and definitely a formidable opponent, the outcome of the match notwithstanding.
Nodding with another smile, CJ directed her broom downwards, relishing in the sound of the bell, and grinning wickedly at her teammates as she pumped her fist in the air, Snitch clearly visible in the grasp of her small hand.
They had won.
Hope this was okay! XD

He heard the sound. The sound of the announcer claiming that CJ had caught the snitch. Dominic grinned at his teams win, joining the other in the center of the pitch so the referee could officially announce that they, Omega, had won. It was pouring rain, and it was starting to make Dominic a bit grumpy, in all honesty. Just like with everyone else. Still, he was glad they won. He followed protocol, going along the line and shaking hands with everyone... aside from their keeper, Edmund. He was just bothered by that guy... and his good keeping skills. Dominic watched in silence as his team captain in Ravenclaw, Dominique, celebrated and talked with her cousins about the game. Roxy offered a 'good game' to him, and all the others, but she seemed half-hearted to Dom. Most people were going to Edmund to congratulate him on his playing. Dominic rolled his eyes more than once. The players were almost an even split between happy they got to play at all, and ready to get out of that rain. Jamie, the Hufflepuff team captain, made it a point to speak to her own keeper, Zita, in congratulations. Dominics eyes shift to Cecelia, who looked terrible. He almost went to her, almost, but then saw Andromeda Lestrange approach her and get he out of there. Good. Lily was hugging everyone, which got an eye roll from Dom, and Lily just stuck her tongue out at him. No hug for Dom. "Nice playing there, Lily. If only you had that kind of game in a real match. Or anywhere, really," he said, knowing full well that Zita was rolling her eyes at him. Zita whispered something in Lilys ear which made the redhead laugh, something about Dom only making one score... Dom didn't comment. Overall, it was a game well played... and left Dom feeling a little homesick for a regular quidditch schedule. --THE END! GOOD GAME YA'LL!--
