hello there, my name is drizella blishwick but you can call me dizz. i'm 16 so that makes me a 6th year at Hogwarts, where I reside in house house. You could say I'm intelligent, knowledgeable, & witty but I personally think that I am hopelessly bored, absentminded, and moody. People say I look a lot like lauren de graaf, but I don't really see it...

Lauren De Graaf
Drizella, while a pretty girl with brown hair and blue eyes, seems to have a permanently bored expression. She isn't one to smile often, and when she does she still looks bored as hell. It's honestly just the way she looks.
Coming from a wealthy family Drizella does have good taste in style and clothing, so she is usually well dressed in expensive clothes... though it does little to make her appear even the slightest interested in any of it.
reading sketching designs inventing (mostly things that would be defined as kids toys) summer days spent lounging on the grass swimming potions spending the afternoon at her Uncle/family's business. music muggle electronics/toys/technology taking things apart...
people who talk to much about themselves parties/big events that require dressing up classes homework the common room when crowded people touching her stuff/especially her sketchpad not being able to put something back together (after she took it apart.) or not being able to figure out how it works
Drizella is an inventor, or aspires to be one. She wants nothing more than to keep experimenting and seeing what does, and doesn't work.
cinnamon, coffee, and rain
Drizella has an extreme fear of darkness. She's never liked it. At night she has to sleep facing a window (with the curtains open), and when she can't she has to light a candle until she falls asleep.
Drizella doesn't make good first impressions. Or second. Or thirds. Why? Well, she just comes across as painfully and hopelessly boring and sullen. She is probably one of the most dispassionate people you will ever meet, and doesn't get excited.... ever. Most likely your encounter with her will include plenty of lazy glances, bored and intense staring at anything in particular but not actually paying any attention, and dramatic and heavy sighing or yawning. It's almost like everything in existence just bores her to tears and she can't even be bothered to put up a front. Her obvious and constant boredom only intensifies how boring she seems to be.
Drizella has a very posh and extravagant lifestyle. Her family has built its fortune over generations, so life has always been extremely comfortable for her and she's never had much need to want anything. To make it worse she is also the only daughter of her parents, and her brothers are several years younger then her. Spending so much time as an only child and as her parents little princess has spoiled her completely rotten. She's used to the extravagant side of life and doesn't really understand that her rich upbringing isn't in fact normal. She's also quite selfish, but that's because she's never really had to think about others. That and most people bore her...
Drizella isn't socially awkward though. She knows how to talk to people when she has the motivation. She can be charming when there's something in it for her. That in turn has only increases her selfish and spoiled upbringing, her parents would always bribe her to feign interest. When she isn't in the mood though she is actually quite sarcastic, a little melodramatic and has a habit to think aloud with out a care of who overhears. While she never seems to become overly excited she also doesn't rile up. Basically she has a very small (expressive) emotional range.
Drizella's disinterest ends when it comes to creation. The girl has an intense fascination with how things work and also brining her own ideas to life. She would spend all day inventing given a choice, and failure doesn't scare her. She's actually quite brilliant when it comes to working with her hands. If she doesn't have obligations, you will likely find her sketching out new ideas, or working on one of her projects. Well... if she will let you see. She trusts very few people with her ideas and inventions and will immediately stop if someone walks up on her, and refuse to resume her work until they leave. Close friends though? Their intrusion is almost ignored, the girl not bothering to leave her lofty thoughts unless forced.
Eugene Miriam Blishwick, 9, still at home (brother) Waldo Seymour Blishwick, 8, still at home (brother)
She has a pair of white mice named Salt and Pepper.
Blishwick. A name that isn't exactly used in everyday conversation. There has been some controversy about the family due to the family owned and ran Matchmaking services (by Drizella's uncle Jimbo) but one thing is for sure, they are an old and wealthy Pureblood family, despite how they've made their fortune.
Drizella is the first born and only daughter to Agatha and Bernard Blishwick, a couple that was paired together by Dizz's grandfather during his Matchmaking days. While her parents were quite happy together and became the best of friends they have never been truly in love with each other. But their marriage works, beautifully in fact. they were in complete unison when raising their daughter. Though... Drizella wasn't exactly the best child. From a young age she had an annoying knack for taking her toys apart instead of playing with them and bribery was a normal practice to get the child to behave at parties or family gatherings. It also didn't help that for several years she was an only child, giving her undivided attention from both her parents.
When she was 7 though things changed and the small family welcomed the first boy, Eugene. A year after that, and they had Waldo. (Hey, the Blishwick's had never been known for picking good names) The sudden change in family dynamics only reinforced Drizella's selfish and spoiled nature because she could get away with more and her parents would resort to bribery much faster. But, she did like her baby brothers. Despite their constant need for attention.
Like all magical children Drizella received her letter to Hogwarts the summer she turned 11 and was on the Hogwarts express that fall. Her first night she was shockingly sorted into Ravenclaw, something that baffled her parents because of her overwhelming boredom with almost everything. Throughout her first four years that confusion only grew, because Drizella was not your average Ravenclaw. She hated classes and homework. She hated the hard work they brought with them. During the summers she became increasingly withdrawn and would spend her days locked in her room for hours on end. It wasn't until they investigated that they realized just how right the sorting had had been. Their little girl had a methodical mind and she spent those days learning the workings of anything she could get her hands on. To this day Drizella isn't aware of her parents snooping.
Her fifth year... wasn't pleasant. Students murdered, Hogwarts attacked. While Dizz remained completely on the side lines it was hard to ignore the disruption. And now the Triwizard tournament? Okay... actually the tournament bores her to tears too, if she was ever asked. It's just so much work, why would anyone want to compete? As for those 'Purifiers' the ones behind all those attacks... Honestly Drizella doesn't quite understand why they'd wish to dispose of muggles and muggleborns, if that truly is their aim. If they weren't around, who would invent all the things she liked to take apart? In all honestly though, blood status has never meant much to her (her parents, very much so.).
