The grounds of Hogwarts were full of exciting happenings. Students from all three different schools paraded the grounds. Phil observed them all and let out a large yawn. Being outside, surrounded by plants, it made him wish that he would just fall asleep He lay back in the grass, enjoying the pleasant breeze that wafted over him. It wasn't much later when he suddenly jerked awake, unaware of what woke him. He was panting, and covered in sweat, which was strange. Maybe it had something to do with his dream? But he couldn't remember it. He put his head in his hands and worked to slow his breath down. a few moments later, when his heart had slowed, he ran a hand through his hair and laid back down in the grass, looking up at the sky, contemplative.

@philiplongbottom Things were almost back to normal. That was a lie. Things would never be normal, but at least she knew how it handle being on her own. There were friends and family at Hogwarts to help, and that was good enough. So Lily felt comfortable running around the grounds once again, burning off her excess energy as much as possible. Being outside and doing things helped her forget about Adrian more often than not; obviously she never wanted to completely forget, but thinking about it only made her hurt. Today was going well. A nice stroll around the grounds and the edge of the forest always seemed to help everything. There hadn’t been a full moon yet since he left, and already Lily was thinking of sucking it up and taking the potion this time around. At least then she would be around Jamie instead of being alone. The restriction of not being able to run would probably drive her crazy over the next month, but she was going to have to get used to it eventually.
Walking over the crest of a hill, Lily stopped instantly, her foot extremely close to coming down on top of someone’s face. Pulling it back, she watched the boy there lean up and do something with his face, and then lay back down. It was Phil! Taking smaller stops towards him, she bent her head down to look at him. “Looks like you’re having a fun time down there,” she grinned, before moving to one side and flopping down on the grass as well. “So what have you been up to lately Mr. Longbottom?”

Phil shouldn't have been surprised to see Lily standing over him. After all, she was on the grounds nearly every spare moment. Even so, she startled him a little. He gave a breathy chuckle, a nervous one then a deep sigh. He closed his eyes as she laid down in the grass next to him. "You know, homework, trying to to die, more homework, Andy, homework." He elbowed her arm next to him. "And you, Miss Potter? Not scaring the first years too much, I hope." He opened his eyes now so he could look at her. He had always liked Lily. Of course recently there had been something different about her, more wild. But everyone changes. He had changed. Hogwarts changed. Nothing ever stayed the same. He tried to jump off this melancholy train of thought he was on by slapping a smile on his face. "Though you think by now the 1st years would be used to all the crazy stuff here."

@philiplongbottom Ah. Wise words from a seventh year, this was. He was busy doing homework and trying not to die, all while keeping Andy happy. Lily felt like she should taking notes on the homework bit, since he said it three times for emphasis, but that bit just slipped right out as quickly as it went in. There really wasn’t time for that when there were more important things. Like running around the grounds looking for people to bother. That was her shtick after all. She wouldn’t be herself if she didn’t interrupt a cuddly couple or homework fiend. Or Phil trying to take a nap.
“Psssh. Like I need to try with them,” she waved her hand at him. “Once they hear I can wolf out, I can’t even get one on their own. They travel in little packs around me. Honestly, it’s adorable.” And she could still intimidate them from a distance. One time she even found a pair of fake teeth and a tail around a full moon cycle. Going up behind them during dinner and scaring the ever living lumos out of them secured a decent amount of pumpkin pasties for the next few hours. It was so cute that they didn’t know what she was really like on a full moon. Her wolf form would have gobbled up their little bodies right then and there without a second thought. “Philip. You know that no one will ever get used to me,” she huffed, trying to make it sound like she was the cause of his ‘crazy stuff’. “If they do, then that means I’m not doing my job.”
