It was a very dark night with no moon, and there were only the stars to give light on the coast. Those looking out over the cliffs one could spot an island if the ocean was calm like it was tonight. On the island there so happened to be a structure and it was a very well-known structure to the wizarding world and especially by those that resided and lived there. There hadn’t been a breakout from Azkaban since the time of Voldemort. But tonight that was all going to change. For there was a man with a plan who had just appeared at the top of the cliffs overlooking the prison with his pet grim Death. This man was just as bad if not worse than the person he was going to be breaking out tonight. Anton Laporte smirked as he breathed in the salty ocean air and laughed in an evil manner.
He had just come back to England not two weeks ago. In that short amount of time he had been rather quiet getting everything planned out for tonight, which so happened to be All Hallows Eve. But he had taken the time to have a little bit of fun by threatening the editor of The Daily Prophet. Oh that was a fun message to send to Alyssa Nightingale who he had gotten information on from Rosebud(Ezra). Who it just so happened to have helped him with the first part of the plan tonight. The drugging of the guards at Azkaban. In his line of work it always paid to have someone that was able to get him what he needed, whenever he needed it. The potion that was to be put into the drinks of the guards who would be on duty tonight and they apparently were having a little party for themselves in light of Halloween. Once the potion was consumed it would incapacitate the guards and when they awoke they would end up hallucinating.
Anton could see the prison clearly as he began his descent to the bottom of the cliffs where there was a boat anchored to the shore. It was the only way to the prison or so people thought. Upon reaching the bottom of the cliffs he looked up and saw Death looking at him from the top which made him smirk. He had always preferred to do things like this loudly and he would have enjoyed killing everyone in the prison except for the man he was here for Ian Owens. A man who had been a supporter of Voldemort but now from the information he had been given Anton knew that Ian wanted to see the world burn and they could accomplish this together. The plan for tonight was to be all stealthy and quiet. Anton could handle that because he would still give the aurors a small taste of what he was capable of. And this was a subtle thing since they would be seeing things for several hours.
Anton pulled out his wand along with what looked like a small piece of cloth. Tapping the piece of cloth it transformed into a long sleek rug which floated next to him. It was an Egyptian flying carpet, that just so happened to be stealthy and undetectable. It worked perfect for times like these, not that he had done this before or anything. Ok yeah Anton has done prison breakouts several times. Stepping onto the rug he thought for a moment and the rug surged forward. After a few minutes of low flying over the ocean he reached the shore of the island and stepped off the rug which shrunk back down to its small size and he pocketed it in his trench coat that he happened to be wearing tonight. Taking a look around Anton noticed that the two guards that normally stood at the front door that was really a gate, lay slumped down against the wall. Ah the potion worked. Stepping over a body Anton made a small motion with his wand and a grating sound met his ears as the gate opened. Upon entering he looked around and laughed as all of the guards were passed out on the inside.
He made his way through the prison all the way up to the high security cells. It was quiet which was kind of weird, but then yet again the people were here for a reason. Some of them looked at him with wide eyes apparently pleading for him to let them out. Laughing a little bit Anton looked at them and with a wave of his wand all of the prisoners were put to sleep. Well that is all except for one. Walking up to a cell that held his objective, Anton peaked through the bars on the cell door. “Ian how about some fresh air?” He asked the man who was there in the cell before he opened it with a key he had taken from a guard. “Oh and would you like your wand back?” Anton asked with a raised eyebrow as he drew a second wand from his pocket, and knew that just from the look that was on Ian’s was almost like Christmas had come early. They were going to kill everyone and everything. The world had no clue that all hell was about to break loose.
