Sugarplum's Sweets Shop. Now, that was an odd place to meet up...
Daniel was meeting up with his sister, Selliah. He was always happy to see her. She was precious to him and it was a regret that they couldn't spend as much time with one another--Trevor included--as they did when they were children. That was because the three of them were busy with their jobs. Erm, well, at least Daniel and Selliah were. The two of them had extensive careers that required a lot of their attention, and more often than not they just wanted to plop down on their beds at the end of a hard work day.
Therefore, whenever he had time on his hands and felt refreshed, he liked to spend the day with either Selliah or Trevor, but preferably both. But Selliah's good health meant a tad bit more to him. It wasn't that he didn't care whether Trevor was alright or not. He did. But Selliah was the girl among them, and the one with the most dangerous job. He was proud that she was committed to fight dark wizards, but as her brother, he couldn't help but fear for her safety.
So today he was getting to see Selliah, and he nothing could've stopped him from doing so. He wanted to know, and see for himself, how she was faring. However, the location that they had arranged did not suit the meeting of an Auror and a Curse Breaker. Rather, it was more suited to children...but when Danny was around his siblings, he wasn't a 24 year-old Curse Breaker anymore, but a kid! You couldn't blame him. He was the baby brother and that identity could never, and will never, change.
The funny thing was that it was Danny who had asked Selliah, through an owl, if they could have their meeting at the candy shop. He wanted to buy candy with her like they used to do as kids. It seemed that his sister acquiesced, so now the freckle face was standing in front of the shop, looking excitedly at the passerby to see if one of them would be Selliah. She better show up soon. Daniel didn't like the thought of Selliah keeping her little brother waiting. What could possible be more important than fawning over chocolates with him? Family was a top priority, right?

Trevor wasn't really one for candy, but he didn't mind getting together with his siblings. Apparently Daniel had invited Selliah to meet with him today, then Selliah contacted Trevor and said he could come as well. It was a little awkward and informal, but Trevor, of course, said he would oblige. He didn't even know if Daniel knew that he was coming. He dressed in a simple black V neck and jeans, leaving his robes aside for the day. This was a gathering with his siblings, not some formal meeting or wizarding convention.
As he entered Sugarplum's Sweets Shop, he still thought it was a pretty weird place to meet, he searched the room for either one of his siblings. He saw Daniel, his baby brother, looking at the candy. He raised his hand to wave but Daniel wasn't looking in his direction. He walked toward his little brother and felt his childish emotions starting to seep into his mind. This was his little brother, he couldn't just walk up an shake hands. Especially not in a candy store.
He crept around behind, smirking as he did so, and tapped his brother on the shoulder swiftly before ducking around behind a giant shelf of candy. If this worked, Daniel wouldn't have even noticed him and would be freaked out that something invisible just tapped him on the shoulder. If it didn't work... well, Daniel was a good kid overall, he'd just make a joke about it.

((Someone changed his playby! Plus, Crystal I hope you don't mind if Daniel posts in here again before Selliah, I just want to save him xD))
Daniel was getting somewhat impatient of standing outside, so he decided to head into the shop first. Selliah would find him inside. It was honestly very simple to just step into the shop and look around for him. Unless he whimsically left to go somewhere else without telling her, she shouldn't have a problem locating him. He was the handsome one with the lush, dark hair and captivating dark eyes, as he liked to say. Daniel knew that both he and Trevor were the ones who looked like their mother, what with their dark coloring. Selliah had their father's light hair.
Once inside the shop, Daniel was viewing a shelf of marzipan candies against the right wall. He looked pretty calm but inside he could imagine himself grabbing all of them and stuffing them into his mouth. Seriously, he loved marzipan. But he wasn't sure if Odette would like them too--part of why he was at the candy shop was to see if he could charm Odette with any sweets, because he was just nice like that. Hmm...but maybe if Odette hadn't been a pretty lady he wouldn't even have thought to try to gain her amiability like this. His motives were rather flirtatious, after all. But could you fault him? He was a young man for Godric Gryffindor's sake, and young men were often dominated by their hormones.
It was then that he felt a sudden tap on his shoulder. Guessing that it was Selliah, he turned around to meet her playful gesture with a witty one of his own, but to his surprise no one was there! He frowned and blinked. Selliah was just playing tricks on him. "Selliah, stop playing hide-and-go-seek like a five year-old," he said.

Selliah didn't mean to be running late. She hated this fact of her life right now. But she couldn't help it almost. With everything going on at the school, the ministry and with the Azkaban prisoner--it was amazing that she hadn't had a small breakdown of her own at the moment. The fact that another student had been killed under their watch--bah! That was unacceptable. They should have been able to stop it from happening. They should have stopped the person. They should have caught them! The fact that none of those things happened was just--it baffled her. It pissed her off. It infuriated her!
How could this have happened?!
All those thoughts also had the unpleasant side effect of distracting her enough to where she had totally forgotten about the meeting she had with her brother at the sweets shop! She noticed what time it was when she absentmindedly looked at a muggle watch that she had always kept with her and gasped as she threw all of her things together and rushed towards the shop. She wasn't late. She was never late! Okay she was a prankster and got in over her head more times then she cared to admit--but the one thing you could say about Selliah was that she was never late. She was always punctual! Except for now it would seem like! Thank goodness it wasn't an auror meeting--missing a family meeting was bad enough thank you.
She had been worrying about her brothers immensely since her run in with the prisoner. He had rattled her to her bones with his words and threats. Empty threats she kept telling herself but she couldn't help but feel as if maybe they weren't. And so when Danny had asked if she wanted to meet her at Sugarplum's sweets shop--she jumped at the chance to make sure he was okay.
And now she was running late. BAH!
Thankfully she knew how to get to Horizon alley and where the shop was. She noticed Trevor sneaking up on their little brother and as much as she wanted to pounce the both of them and hug them and tell them how much she was glad they were okay but she had the feeling a prank was in store and so she hung back. She watched as her elder brother sneak up on Daniel and made it as if someone tapped him on the shoulder before disappearing. Daniel turned with a start and told HER to stop playing hide and go seek like a five year old. She couldn't help but laugh as she walked up towards him--wrapping him in a tight hug,
"So says the twenty odd year old who likes to visit family at the candy shop." she said wryly with a joking smile (something that hadn't made an appearance on her face in far far too long let's just say), "I've missed you. I'm really glad your all right. I think I saw Trevor around here...not sure though..." she said as a way of letting her older brother know that she had seen him and knew that he was here...she was the auror after all...not much got past her...
...except for you know the important things...but let us not let self doubt creep up right now please and thank you!

Trevor couldn't have been more happy with the way this had turned out. His little brother, Danny, had blamed Selliah for his little trick. But, as soon as she made the joke about Daniel being just as immature and childish as he claimed Selliah to be, Trevor let out a snort of laughter. His hand flew over his mouth but it was probably too late. Yup, Selliah made a comment about having seen him. Stupid Aurors are too smart and observant. Which really makes them anything but stupid.
Trevor rolled away from the shelf he was hiding in, standing behind Daniel but in plain view of Selliah, "Woah, guys! Fancy meeting you here." Trevor joked as he walked up beside them, tapping Daniel on his left shoulder while passing on his right. "Guess I got you earlier, huh Danny?" Trevor smirked. He really wasn't much of a prankster in general, but he really didn't have a choice around his two younger siblings. They were just too fun to mess around with, and they sure loved to mess around with him.
"Selliah," his voice became a little more serious as he hugged his baby sister. Well, that's what she would always be to him. Even though she was much braver, tougher and cleverer than him--Trevor still felt as though it was his job to protect her. At least when he could. He pulled away and kept one hand on her shoulder, placing the other on Daniels shoulder. "So, are we going to get some candy?"

Daniel's jaw dropped when he saw that Selliah approached him from a totally different direction from where he thought she had sneaked out to tap him on the shoulder. She was even laughing, most likely finding the humor in him mistaking whoever that person was for her. Seriously? What on earth? If Selliah wasn't the one who did that, who had it been?
He forced himself to get himself together when she hugged him. Grinning, although still looking confused, he hugged her back. "Heya, sis! It's good to see you," he said happily. "Oh, come on, if candy is still edible even after you're eighteen, then it's worth shopping for no matter how old you are." He released her and added smugly, "And besides, being with the two of you makes me feel like a stripling again. Old habits die hard, especially if you were perfectly coddled."
But his expression softened when he saw how joyful she looked. Well, it had been quite a long time since he had seen such happiness in her. He knew that the job of an auror was stressful and dangerous, and seriously, he wished she didn't have to do it. He was a brave Gryffindor, but Danny wasn't sure if he really wanted to risk his head, or have his siblings risk their heads, for a cause that had never really existed in the realm they had been born to. He understood the concept, but he still didn't feel at home with it. "I missed you too, Selliah. And I'm even more glad that you're all right, because, you know, auror stuff." The curse-breaker was about to ask her about the strange tapping mystery when she mentioned Trevor.
He stared at her in surprise. "What? Trevor's here?" he asked quizzically. Daniel was only aware that he had arranged to meet up with just Selliah. He, of course, had no objections to seeing Trevor, because he loved his older brother to bits. However, if had thought that Trevor would be too busy to, what with him being a professor. And then the realization hit him that Trevor might've been the one to tap his shoulder. "Wait--so, it was actually Trevor who--"
Danny had no idea where Trevor learned how to become a ninja, but all of a sudden he heard Trevor's voice behind him. He quickly turned to stare at his brother with a mixture of surprise and pleasure. "Trevor, you ghost, I thought you were too busy spanking children to come out here and meet us!" he exclaimed. He smirked cockily at his brother. "You may have this time, Trev, but I you can be sure that I'll have you hexed thrice before you can try a single thing on me again."
He watched with a smile as Trevor hugged Selliah. He would rather that Trevor babied Selliah, because, well, she was the girl. He was already a tough guy who preferred slaps on the backs. He grinned when his brother put his hand on his shoulder. He felt united and powerful with the three of them together like this. "Well, I didn't take the two of you down here to break curses," he said jokingly. "So, yeah, let's, for ourselves and...say, do either one of you have an eye-catching co-worker you want to entice with sweets?"
