Club indigo. Not exactly a regular spot for Lucy to be found, however, tonight she was itching to get out and to be around some of her own kind. She had been spending entirely too much time around muggles, which wasn’t really a big deal to her, at least they were paying her to spend time with them. However, she was itching to not have to watch what she said or what she did. She was bored. So she found herself appariting to the club in London and disappearing into its doors. This was the first time she had been inside. She had contemplated it several times, but often decided it was beneath her. Tonight, it was just what she needed.
The music was loud and the people were moving to it, happily dancing without caring about the newcomer. Fair enough. Why would they? It wasn’t like Lucy Weasley was a name that normally turned heads. If Anna had walked in, Lucy was sure it would have been a different story. Lucy had plans to join the strangers on the dance floor, but before she did, she knew she needed a bit of alcohol in her system. “2 shots of firewhisky.” she ordered from the bartender. She turned from the bar and glanced around the club while she waited for her order to be filled. The ex-Slytherin wondered who in the building would lend the most entertainment for the night.

Finn was not a regular at Club Indigo, by any means. He thought it was rather seedy, but the dancers were fun to watch and it had been the request of one of the new recruits - the Seeker. He was happily dancing with two girls who had manifested themselves once they had realized a gaggle of Quidditch players was in the bar. Finn had already danced to a few songs, but currently needed to rehydrate, preferably with some firewhiskey. The alcohol was Finn’s personal poison of choice, and he made his way through the throngs of sweaty people before making his way to the bar. The bartender was the American who Finn knew pretty well by now, and immediately poured the Arrows player a double shot of the firewhiskey.
It was at this moment when a lovely red haired girl came up to the bar next to him and ordered two shots of firewhiskey. He glanced over at her, and smiled. “Excellent choice, if I do say so myself,” he commented, lifting his own glass to toast her before downing it. “What’s your story?” he asked after exhaling sharply. The bartender put another shot in front of him, but Finn waited for the other girl to respond before drinking it.

The rather attractive bartender who Lucy noticed had an American accent pounded her shots and then moved onto another man who had walked up at around the same time as Lucy and had ordered a double shot of the same thing that Lucy was drinking. Fire whisky was a very popular drink around the magical community and there was a good reason for that. It was cheap. It tasted decent enough, and it did the job well. Lucy was no stranger to alcohol and hadn’t been for a few years. “Well it’s a pretty safe choice.” Lucy responded with a smirk and then took one of her two shots as the man turned fully to her and asked what her story was. She gave a little laugh. There were a lot of answers to that question. Given her hair, she wondered if the man already knew she was a Weasley? He looked vaguely familiar but she had no idea where to place him. He was roughly her age, but had probably graduated a few years back, if he had been in her house, she would definitely have known him. However, since she couldn’t place him, she knew he wasn’t a Slytherin. “I’m just a girl looking to have a fun night on the town.” she said with a shrug and a smirk, licking a drop of the whisky off her top lip. “What about you?” she asked, looking the man up and down and deciding she liked what she saw well enough.

Finn chuckled at the girls' response, saying it was a safe choice. "Oh, I daresay I would not call firewhiskey safe," he said with a smirk. He knocked back the shot with ease, and turned to face her, brow raised. Fun night on the town, that was what she was looking for? Well, Finn was definitely known to have a fun night on the town, in more ways than one. "I'd say...we could definitely call firewhiskey interesting however, if you care to make a little...wager?" he suggested, then snapped his fingers. Two more sets of shots, two for Lucy and two for him were poured, and Finn left a hefty tip for the bartender, as he doubted this would be the last round. "What do you say to this, if you can convince me to get on that dance floor before needing to use the rest room, your tab is completely on me. If not....well, we'll see what we can come up with," he offered her. He chuckled, shaking his head. "My apologies, I haven't introduced myself. The name is Kai, Kai Jones," he introduced, extending his hand for her to shake. He leaned on the bar with his right forearm, waiting patiently for her response to the answer. @lucyweasley

The man insisted that he wouldn’t call firewhisky safe and Lucy shrugged her shoulders. It was cheap and it did the trick, especially on a night where she didn’t want to put too much effort into getting drunk - when she just wanted a quick buzz to take the edge off of the day. He then switched his opinion on their poison of choice to interesting, as long as she accepted his suggested waiver, which she listened for as she took her second shot. Two more sets of shots, a set for each of them were poured and delivered. If you can convince me to get on that dance floor before needing to use the restroom, your tab is completely on me. he offered. Lucy let a breathy chuckle escape her lips. The woman was known, at least in her circle (and among the purifiers) to have a way with people. Elaine often had Lucy seduce victims into allowing themselves to fall into whatever trap was set. The girl worked as an escort, after all. Getting a man to dance with her surely wouldn’t be a problem. However, she also wasn’t opposed to paying for her own drinks. So there really was no downside. “Lucy...Weasley.” she said with a slight pause between her first and last names. She only added her last name because he had, otherwise she would have left it out. She didn’t really like bringing it up, however, it was an excellent wall to hide behind. “And I never turn down a challenge.” she said, biting her lip as she stepped closer to him, adjusting the collar on his shirt.

Finn raised an eyebrow but said nothing as Lucy introduced herself. Ah, another Weasley eh? He had gone to school with Victoire, and she had mentioned a lot of cousins stemming from her fathers’ siblings subsequent marriages. Lucy must be one of them; one of the younger ones though as she couldn’t be older than twenty, if that. “It’s very nice to meet you Lucy Weasley,” Finn said with a small incline of his head. He couldn’t help but smirk as she accepted his challenge, and he brushed a long strand of red hair from her face as she adjusted the collar of his shirt. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re trying to get an edge in the game,” he jokingly accused her. He turned his attention to the bartender, and after downing his two shots, called for another round. “You see Miss Weasley, you may have the wily charm of your family,” Finn started, taking another shot. “But I am a professional Quidditch player. If you’ve heard of the legendary after parties following victories on the Pitch, you have no idea the amount of trouble we get into,” he told her, grinning devilishly. Of course, not all the players could drink as much as Finn could, but that’s where his cousin Rai came into the picture. He was pretty confident he could drink Lucy under the table, but on the other hand, she was very pretty. So he’d stay somewhere in the middle, seeing where the night went before making any movement. @lucyweasley

He knew her name. Of course he did. Who didn’t? She could see it on his face. And a part of her was annoyed by that. She hated that she was attached to the Weasley name. She hated that the Weasley name was associated with being a blood traitor and that she had to carry that status with her even if she didn’t believe in it. But that wasn’t the point of this encounter, was it? She knew that the only way to get herself out of the bad name situation was to be doing what she was already doing. The Purifiers were her only hope. At least she was a pureblood, even if a lot of her cousins weren’t. He brushed her hair back when she got closer to him and began to adjust his collar. She bit her lip, “Oh I’m very competitive.” an edge on the game? Sure. Why not.
He went on to explain that he was a professional Quidditch player, and she had no idea of the amount of trouble that he could get into. Lucy gave an unbelieving, breathy laugh. Oh god, if only she knew? He had no idea. And she couldn’t blame him for that. He had no idea who she was, and labeling her as just another Weasley was his first mistake, but an honest mistake to make given that most of her actual life and personality were kept secret, and only shown to those who needed to know. He took another shot and she followed him after her laugh. “Honey, you underestimating me is just going to make this all the more easy.” given, she was smaller than he was, and likely couldn’t handle as much alcohol as he could, but, that wasn’t the issue. She could hold her own and she was nowhere near her limit. She’d been building her tolerance for years now. She may be young, but that never stopped her. Without looking away from his face, her hand found his and she took hold of it, beginning to pull him backwards, onto the dance floor.

Finn chuckled. “When did I say anything about underestimating you?” he asked, quirking an eyebrow in her direction. He was not so foolish as to lower his guard around the temptress in front of him. Of course, he had no idea what she did for a living, or even how old she was for that matter, but something told him that this was nowhere near her first time at Club Indigo. The way she adjusted his collar, the way she looked at him with a gleam of hunger and a (likely false) innocence was probably how she got all of her drinks paid for most of the time. But this was not Finn’s first rodeo either. Finn felt her hand slip into his as she began to pull him towards the dance floor. He was tempted of course; she was very beautiful and he had a feeling it could be the beginning of a very fun night. But Finn was also competitive to a fault and he stopped, a grin spreading across his face. “Not yet Miss Weasley, I’m not going to cop to a defeat that easily,” he told her promptly. Now that he had control again, Finn signalled for more shots from the bartender. Finn handed one to Lucy before knocking his back easily. “Cheers love,” he said, setting down his glass once more. @lucyweasley

To be completely honest, Lucy had sort of expected him to fold easily, let himself become captivated him her and let her simply pull him onto the dance floor. This was going to be a bit more of a challenge, which Lucy wasn’t going to shy away from. It was just easier to test the limits of any assignment before putting her full effort into the game. How was she to know that he didn’t challenge her just as an excuse to get her to dance with him without having to admit that he wanted to dance with her. Finn took another shot and handed one to Lucy as well, she took it without leaving any sign of the burn on her face. Lucy was good at hiding whatever she was thinking of experiencing, having to act for her entire life gave her an excellent poker face. “So what brings you out tonight, anyway? Did you just coming looking to find someone with a higher tolerance than you?” she asked, teasing and allowing her curiosity to show at the same time, picking up another shot.

Finn laughed and shook his head. “I came out tonight originally with a couple of friends on my team. We have a new recruit, but he has a girlfriend he wanted to get home to,” he explained, rolling his eyes good naturedly. Finn didn’t have a problem with his teammates having significant others; whatever made them happy would keep them focused on the Quidditch pitch during matches, and he was all for that. He on the other hand wasn’t what one would call the ‘relationship type’. He’d had girlfriends of course, and a few that he couldn’t really call girlfriends in the sense of the word. His mother claimed he just hadn’t met the perfect woman for him yet, his soulmate, and Finn let her believe in that to appease her. He had no intention of settling down anytime soon however. At least his cousin, and now roommate, understood him. “They all left earlier, and since I wasn’t ready to call it a night, here I am,” he told Lucy, gesturing down to himself with a smile. “What about you Miss Weasley? What brings you to a nightclub like this tonight?” he asked, picking up another shot and clinking it gently with hers before knocking it back in one gulp. His tolerance was quite high, but he would need to slow it down a little if he wanted to win this bet. @lucyweasley

“I see. So the lame ones went home and you stayed hoping to be here when the fun actually started?” Lucy asked, only half actually asking. The other half of her tone was suggestive and teasing. Of course, she didn’t see the desire to want to rush home to a significant other either, in fact, she rarely saw the desire to be home when there were so many things and places and people to see who offered her more entertainment than her flat did. Especially since she shared her flat with her sister and her sisters fiancee until they got married and finally moved out. She had been so selfless in offering for them to live with her, but she hadn’t really thought it through. It had been a spur of the moment offer and now she was paying the ‘no-privacy’ price.
“Fancied a drink and some company other than my sister.” Lucy shrugged before leaning back against the bar, using her elbows to keep her upright, grabbing another shot. She surveyed the club with a glance around before taking the drink and setting it back on the bar next to her. The typical crowd, she suspected. She didn’t come to this club often, she normally preferred places that were a little more low-key, but tonight, she wanted attention and not from some creepy bloke in a dingy pub or a muggle who had paid for her company. And she had found the perfect target, a professional Quidditch player, very attractive company indeed. Lucy felt her eyes start to glaze over a bit, nothing that would impair her, but a good indicator that she was getting very close to her ideal level of intoxication, somewhere perfectly between ‘no inhibitions’ and ‘won’t remember this tomorrow’. Lucy never drank so much that she blacked out, that would be irresponsible, and with her being who she was, she knew that was a risk she just couldn’t take. She never drank to forget, she drank to get loose. Well, looser at least. “Feeling the alcohol yet?” she asked, biting her lip and keeping in mind that she had no idea how much he had before she got here, he already had some in his system, surely, she didn’t need to keep up with him when he was likely already several drinks ahead.

Finn chuckled. “Exactly right princess,” he said, not really knowing where the nickname came from but it really seemed to suit Lucy Weasley. The way she carried herself screamed self-declared royalty, but Finn didn’t have a problem with that. He could appreciate a woman with the confidence and allure Lucy had on the crowd. He had not failed to notice several people of both genders casting a wandering eye over the pair of them. He raised an eyebrow when she mentioned her sister; his younger twin sisters were always attached at the hip, so he had just presumed the majority of sisters felt that way. “Do you live with her then?” he asked. That would explain why she was out on a weeknight instead of at home; the chance to feel free without anyone close bothering them. Now that Rai was moving in, Finn would sometimes miss the solitude he had with Chewie, but his love and devotion to his cousin meant more than his alone time. Besides, Rai always seemed to pop in and out and by now knew when to keep her distance. “What do you think?” Finn asked, a lazy grin spreading across his face. He was definitely feeling the effects of the alcohol by now, but he had been a partying professional for over six years now; it’d take a lot for him to show how high his level was by now. Still, he was in a mood to dance, especially with the gorgeous redhead in front of him, and as if on cue the DJ spun a song that perfectly fit his dance moves. “Tell you what princess, I’ll pay the tab and you can lead me out on the dance floor, if you think you can handle me,” he told her. He knew he was going to pay for the tab all along; he didn’t mind of course, but he liked to make things interesting. @lucyweasley
