ooc: A beginning for plots made in collaboration with @daniel (Suzie)

Evie withdrew her fangs slowly from the boy's neck, thoroughly delighted with her fill. She ran her tongue slowly across the holes she had left, letting her saliva do it's work in hiding the evidence. Finally, after a gentle caress of the cheek and a cold kiss upon magically unconscious lips, Evie rolled off of the handsome young man's bed and stood up, stretching her legs and arms as she did. The night had been delightfully easy going. This one didn't even wake up before she put him even farther under through magical means.
He'd probably wake up groggy, dehydrated, and a little weak; but that was nothing a hearty breakfast couldn't fix. Evie looked around the young man's room It wasn't terribly interesting, save for a desk and a nightstand, though something in the back of Evie's mind wanted to look through them while he was out. What if she found something she could use? She looked around the nightstand, dresser, and desk, not finding much until she stumbled upon a book that caught her eye. Flipping it open revealed exactly what she always hoped to find during a post-feeding snoop... a journal.
Evie scanned over the pages in silence reading bits from here or there of this Daniel's life, looking for anything juicy at all. She looked through haphazardly until she read over a word that made her bright-red eyes go wide.
"Empath," she whispered to herself. The corners of Evie's mouth suddenly cracked into a wide and cruel grin. This was huge. The thought of putting someone as rare as a functioning Empath under her thumb... just the opportunity alone was nearly too much for her to believe. Evie felt a new, cruel inspiration churning within her as she continued to read. Minutes later, she was scanning through for details and copying them down on her own parchment for later use. Oh yes... this was happening. Evie could not let this opportunity go. She needed to plan.
Evie set the journal back where it was, careful to leave it as close to how she found it as she could. She crept up beside Daniel's bed, her moon-lit shadow growing over him as she did. In a barely audible whisper, she breathed, "Be careful, sweet Danny-boy, for soon the roses fall." And with that Evie departed.
-fin- (for now.)
