November . Victoire had recieved a tip about a possible hideout for the Purifiers. It was an old, abandoned wearhouse on the outskirts of London. It wasn't far from Club Indigo, which meant that they had to be extra cautious so no magical beings at the club tried to apprehend them. Plus, the caution was vital either way because of the nature of their activity. Vic had gathered her band of... Well, what used to be part of The Order and now was a bit of an outcast group. These were the people who thought aggressive action should be taken rather than trying to fix things through gentler means. Victoire believed that Elaine and her friends should pay for everything they've done as quickly as possible. The sooner they were dead or imprisoned, the better. So, here the Heliopaths were, preparing to head to the assumed safehouse. "Just stay focused. When you see the signal, you have thirty seconds to clear from the explosion," she directed her crew. The signal would be a pink flashing light on the roof of the building across the street, which Victoire would trigger. "Good luck," she gave Dominique a look, "and be careful." Then she nodded to her team, Marcia and Odette, and apparated. ___________ Okay, so, treat this like a dance party thread in which case you post whenever and tag the person you're talking to. If you don't post in the thread that's up to you, just follow it since your character is here! Finn was tingling with the anticipation of making a move against Elaine Dupree and her band of...well, he actually wasn’t entirely sure who, but he was certain they were all horrifically evil people. They had to be, given who they followed. He knew both the Order and the Purifiers enlisted safe houses for members of their organization; it made sense with the amount of secrecy each side curtailed over the past few months. He had been surprised to hear that Victoire, the leader of their Order faction, had been given a tip off to one of the rumored Purifier safe houses, and now they were going to go take some action. He had been assigned to guard the back of the house, while Dominique and Albus Potter took the front. Victoire and two others were going in to set the bombs in place. Once they received their orders and were given the signal, Finn made his way to the back with Andromeda Longbottom, a girl whose acquaintance he had made just a few months ago while out on a run in London. “Andy, long time no see,” he said with a cheerful grin. He knew what was happening was very serious, with potentially serious repercussions if they were caught, but he couldn’t help it. He wanted to stop the evil poison that was Elaine Dupree. Finn took out his wand and leaned casually against the side of the house. “Learn any good spells in case we catch an unsuspecting straggler coming out?” he asked, raising a brow at her with a grin. Might as well make a little bit of quiet small talk while waiting for their next signal. @lestrange

Andy had taken to strapping her violin case to her back, kind of in the way guitar players always carried their guitars around. Especially when it came to work assignments and Heliopath business. She figured it was the best thing to always have with her, sometimes even moreso than her wand. Not that she ever left her wand behind either. Victorie gave the instructions and Andy grinned at the thought of being paired up with her sort-of-friend, Kai. She was even more excited to be on the look out - ready for any bad witch, wizard or whoever that might try to stop their plan. "Oh, I know plenty of spells that will do very nicely if any such occasion should arise," she assured him. "Are you sure you can handle this?"@finn

Kai laughed quietly, as to not disturb anyone who may come looking round to see what all the noise was about. “Oh, can I handle this?” he challenged with a smirk, crossing his arms in front of him. “I believe I have a few moves they won’t see coming.” With that, he uncrossed his arms and reached into his pocket and pulled out a miniature beater bat. “Engorgio” he said, and the bat returned to its regular size. “I call her Camilla. Let’s just say I’ve had plenty of practice swinging this bad girl around,” he told her cheekily, taking a few practice swings for good measure. Hen odded at the violin case strapped around her back. “What about you? Is the plan to distract them with your gorgeous playing while I whack them unconscious before they sense me coming?” he asked her, letting the bat rest casually at his side @lestrange

Dom was excited about this job. Finally they were doing something! Finally they found a way to strike back at Elaine for all the pain she'd inflicted upon all the people in London and around the world. Granted, the whole situation was particularly personal to Dom, who watched that witch murder her best friend, the boy she was in love with. It was time Elaine was thwarted in some way or another.
The only annoying thing was that she had to stay outside and guard the entrance. It wasn't a terrible thing, but she wished she could be a part of the action more. Still, she and Vic talked about it at length and she understood why she was outside. That didn't mean she was particularly excited about it. She rolled her eyes at her sister, but also smirked when Vic looked at her, saying be careful. "Of course, you know me," Dom answered, which probably wasn't super encouraging, but she would do what she was supposed to. Dom did not want to ruin the mission.
Once the others were inside, she turned to the girl with her. "You're Rai?" she asked, having never met the woman before. All she knew about her was that Vic trusted her enough to let her in the group.

Vic stayed still as Marcia apparated beside in their underground tunnel. "Perfect," she commented, as Marcia started to spin her shrapnel in the air ahead of them. "We just have to go a little further east. I didn't want to apparate directly under it, in case any of them were inside," she explained. She started to move forward, leading toward the building so they could be directly underneath it. "Set the bombs at the four corners, make sure you don't set them off before I give the thirty second signal to the others," she added. "Feel free to be creative, the more we demolish this building, the better."@rivtrois

Andy smirked as he laughed, staying silent in her amusement. He challenged her challenge, saying that he had a few moves they wouldn't see coming. She grinned, a chuckle starting to bubble in her throat, but she kept it down. He pulled out a small bat and her smile vanished to make room for a look of confusion. She leaned forward a little, squinting to look at it. Then he cast the charm to make the bat full size, and she grinned. "Camilla," Andy noted as he went on. "A pleasure to meet you," she added to the bat as he swung it around. Then his eyes found her violin and he asked what her plan was, she shook her head, smirking. "That could work," Andy agreed. "But it's a... similar situation to your friend there," she nodded toward the bat, and then lifted her wand, giving it a little swish. The violin case opened up and the bow and instrument floated out from behind her. Then, the bow suddenly flew toward Kai, stopping a few inches from his face, "I've had a lot of practice with my toys, too."@finn

Rai was thrilled to be here, though she wished she had been paired with Finn. Still, it was kind of nice that they were going their own separate ways. If things went south they wouldn't be worrying as much about each other because there were other things at hand. Since Poet had left and the Order of Stratera had been disbanded, Rai had felt better about her place in the 'New Order'. She had only joined Poe's forced because he was one of her closest friends, but she really had liked everything Victoire Weasley had said in that meeting. So, she tracked down the Heliopaths and became a member - ready to do whatever she was asked. She was more of an 'action' type person anyway, so this suited her. Everyone split up, and Rai stayed with Dominique, at the front of the building. They hung out casually, preparing for the signal across the roof and watching for anything suspicious. It was late at night, and very few people passed by. She nodded as Dominique addressed her, "and you're Dominique, Victoire's sister," Rai said. "Must be nerve wracking having her for a sister. She seems intense," Rai guessed. Classic Rai - blunt. Dominique Antoinette Weasley

Dom watched as the girl nodded to her, confirming who she was, and also saying Dom's name and that she was Vic's sister. Dom nodded back at her, smiling when Rai elaborated on Vic a bit. She shrugged, "She's the only sister I've ever had, but yeah. She's a bit intense and very determined. All throughout school the professors expected me to be just like her. They were surprised when they realized I have my own personality." And a strong one at that. She wasn't going to let other people determine what would come of her life. That wasn't even a little bit like Dom.
"What made you join Vic, if you don't mind me asking?" Dom asked quietly, searching the darkness in front of them ask she spoke. She wasn't good at staying somewhere silently. Vic knew that before she assigned Dom to this location.

Malakai was intrigued at her saying her violin had a similar situation to Camilla. He was about to ask her to elaborate when the bow suddenly was in front of his face, hovering just mere inches away. He whistled appreciatively. “Impressive my lady, your practice has paid off,” he complimented, taking a step back so the bow was further from his face. “I saw a Muggle advert of this television series, I honestly don’t remember what its’ called. But the actor had a bat with barbed wire wrapped around it, which looked pretty cool. Dunno if I’d want to accidentally ruin my Beaters’ bat though,” he explained to her, suddenly recalling the menacing figure on the side of the double decker bus. Kai looked back towards the building; everything seemed pretty quiet so far, so there wasn’t much for them to do. “Do you think we’ll hear anything when the next phase commences?” he asked her. He imagined that they’d be able to HEAR it, but he wasn’t exactly well versed in magical bombs. “Though I suppose we’ll feel it if we don’t somehow hear it,” he reasoned, partly to himself. He was starting to feel antsy; he wanted to crack the skull of whatever scum was holed up in the building, the sooner the better. @lestrange

Dominique said that Rai was the only sister she ever had, agreeing that Victoire was intense and 'determined'. It must have been hard for Dom, having to follow that through school like she said... Rai let out a small chuckle, "I think professors are often surprised that we have our own personalities," she agreed. "Even more so with older siblings like that. I have an older brother, but people didn't really expect us to be alike," she admitted. No, they were nothing alike and her brother acted as if they weren't even related. Dom asked what made her join and Rai paused for a moment to contemplate, turning her eyes to scan the streets as well. "The action aspect, mostly. I don't like just sitting around waiting for things to happen," she explained. "I'm guessing you don't either," she assumed. Dom had that quality about her. Dominique Antoinette Weasley

He said she was impressive at her violin 'attack', saying her practice had paid off. She gave a short bow, as a joke, and recalled her violin and bow back to her. He said that he saw a muggle advert of a television series where a character had a barbed wire bat. Andy's eyebrows both raised, "I think the barbed wire is a bit much. You can do just as much damage without, and then you don't have to ruin it either." She wouldn't give her violin a face lift like that, even if it did look cool. He seemed pretty sure about leaving his bat as is, though. He asked if she thought they'd hear anything and she nodded, "I'm sure we'll hear something. I mean... I assume so. Plus, don't we kind of want to make a ruckus? For Elaine's sake?" she guessed. He said they'd probably feel it and she nodded, looking up toward one of the higher windows in the building. "I wonder if any of them are in there right now..."@finn (they should sneak inside like dummies and then have to run for their lives when the signal comes that the bombs are about to go off LOL)

Vic found that she rather liked Marcia. The girl had a certain spark to her, not to mention she had been a Slytherin as well and that was usually a plus in Victoires book. Any Slytherin who chose to using their cunning, resourcefulness and ambition for good was an important asset. Plus she was training to be a hit witch, which to Vic meant that she was willing to do what needed to be done. Marcias cloud of shrapnel floated ahead of them, and Victoire made sure to keep a safe distance from it. She said she was hoping to start the party early, and Vic raised an eyebrow at her. "What do you mean? If any of them are in there we can't give them any warning that something is about to happen. It's all to easy for magical being to escape," she noted. Once in place, the three of them started to set their bombs. Victoire did a little fun with hers, making one of them have the effect of someone screaming - or at least that's what it should do when the bomb went off, she didn't dare test it. At Marcias suggestion for next time, Victoire grinned, "yes, next time. Don't let me forget," she said, her voice just as soft. "And hopefully next time we can get a little more face to face fun, right?" she added. She knew pretty much everyone on her team would like that. Victoire preferred to attack tactfully, and was biased about her cousins and friends being safe, but she understood the thirst for violence when it came to these people. @rivtrois

Dom nodded firmly when Rai answered her back. "Yeah ... I mean, Vic was a determined student and so was I, but other than that, we are entirely different people." In so many ways. During school, the biggest difference was the fact that Dom wanted to have fun. She did so in every way she could, following her instincts, getting into mischief. She always assumed her older sister would prefer her to be the more stereotypical, study-focused student, but Dom didn't care.
Rai said she joined for the action, explaining a little and saying she thought Dom was similar. Dom nodded, "You're right. I much prefer to be in the middle of things," she scrunched her nose up, "If I could get my sister to let me." She knew that Vic letting her be here at this moment was a sign that her sister was involving her, but if Vic thought Dom would be content guarding the doors the entire time she was a part of this group ... she had another thing coming.

Dom said her and Vic had their academic habits in common, but that was where the similarities stopped. "Were you in different houses?" Rai asked. She vaguely remembered Vic being in Slytherin house, but she didn't think Dom had been put there. Not that she knew the girl very well, but something told her she wasn't there. Sure, Rai could just read her mind using Legilimens to find out, but where was the fun in that? She only used that for work stuff, really. Dom said she preferred being in the middle of things and Rai nodded, smiling, even as Dom added that her sister wouldn't let her. "At least she let's you get this close. It's a step," she said. "She could have tied you to a chair and made you stay home," she suggested, laughing a little. Rai wouldn't mind having a sibling like that, one who cared enough TO try and protect her.
