Vik was waiting for Andy outside the fancy castle of a house. Of course, it wasn't actually a castle, but very rich people lived inside. He'd actually been scoping a different place out for a job when he saw the invitation to the party here. He'd looked the place up at some library and realized how nice and fancy it would be ... so he naturally took the invitations. He probably would have taken them anyway. At least it would get them inside. He hadn't really told Andy about his little habit of snitching things. He'd considered telling her, but he didn't really want to yet. He couldn't quite tell if she'd approve or not.
He smiled when he saw someone approaching. "Andy? You ready for a fun night?" he asked, an obvious smile in his voice.

The past few weeks with Vik had been... Crazy. They kissed that first night they met and it had just taken off from there. They were all over each other and not really apologetic about it either. It was a whirlwind, and Andy barely even had time to think about what it all meant. Tonight he asked him to meet her in some very, very fancy neighborhood. Which was weird. And he told her to dress up so she wore a black dress, of course, and arrived right on time. He greeted her, asking if she was ready for a fun night. She raised an eyebrow, "a little concerned and confused but ready, " she answered, moving to link her arm through his. @vik

Vik was excited to crash this party. Of course, he planned on doing it sneakily and just having fun there with Andy, but still. He liked the idea of walking in like he owned the place when he really didn't even belong on the block. At least, not here in the muggle world. When it came to the wizarding world, his adoptive family was very well off. He could go to almost any party he wanted there, not that he would. He was treated like garbage at those things. The nice thing about this place was that no one here would know either of them.
Andy approached and Vik was smiling at her. She said she was concerned and confused and he chuckled as he leaned in to kiss her on the cheek. "Why in the world would you be concerned and confused? This is supposed to be fun," he teased, curious to see what she thought his plan was for the night. He hadn't given her anything to go off of.

He kissed her cheek, asking why she'd be concerned and confused, saying that this was supposed to be fun. She rolled her eyes, "I don't see a lot of fun in us doing something where we aren't alone together," she teased back. The two had their fair share of alone time, maybe it was worth doing something different every once in a while. She looked toward the houses, her eyes taking in the size. She had grown up in a house like that, but she was quite sure that this was a muggle neighborhood. She turned back to Vik and raised an eyebrow again in question, "soooo are you gonna clue me in, stud?" she asked, batting her eyelashes. @vik

Vik laughed when Andy said there wasn't any fun unless they were alone together. "Well, we're just going to be around a bunch of people we don't know and will never see again, so at least we don't have to worry about the impression we give off," he teased, squeezing her arm. He watched her look at their surroundings, smiling as he looked at her. "You look amazing," he commented, right before she asked if he'd clue her in. "I guess. Soooo I scored these invitations to this party from my job and thought we should come together. I'd have no fun at something like this on my own you know. That's about all there is to it ... unless you have any questions," he teased, unable to help himself.

Vik said that they wouldn't have to worry about the impression they gave off, and squeezed her arm. "Fine, fine. I guess you're right. As long as we can be alone AFTER this thing," she suggested. He said she looked amazing and she shrugged, "hope it pays off," she joked. She really had no idea what they were doing here. Maybe they were going to do some caroling or something. The he explained that he got tickets to a party and her eyes widened, "well, aren't you fancy. Did someone trade you those for one of the tacky necklaces at your place?" she suggested. She shook her head, "no questions," she leaned her body into his arm and lifted her lips to his, planting a kiss on them, "let's go."@vik

Vik laughed when Andy insisted that he was right, as long as they could be alone after the party. "Of course. That was always part of the plan. Shame you ruined the surprise," he teased. He couldn't help it. He liked teasing her and being around her. She was easy to talk to and beautiful and definitely someone he wanted to spend his time with.
She seemed a little impressed when he admitted they were coming to a party. He shrugged at her suggestion. "Something like that. The point is, we're here and I'm interested to see how this party relates to wizard ones," he told her, kissing her back when she leaned up. He nodded at her words, leading her to the door. He showed the man at the door their invitations and they were showed into a very fancy place. The vaulted ceiling glimmered and shimmered from all the lights hitting the diamonds. Vik's eyes widened slightly. Maybe he should come back here for one of his jobs.
A butler approached, offering to take their coats. Once he was gone, Vik turned to Andy. "So ... what do you think of this place?" he asked. "Worth it to spend some time not alone?"

He said that she had ruined the surprise and she shook her head, "it wouldn't be that big of a surprise, darling. We always end up there," she explained. They really did, too. It was a whole big part of their relationship - the fact that they just wanted to be together all the time. He said he was interested to see how the party compared to wizard ones. "I'm sure there are less house elves and moving ice sculptures," she guessed. Once at the door Vik showed the invitations, and Andy had some very vivid flashbacks of her childhood. She had been to a lot of parties like this with her parents. She instinctively stood a little straighter. Once they were inside she glanced around, her eyes finding the ceiling and her jaw dropped. "Never thought I'd see a ceiling like that again," she admitted. She had left that life. A butler approached and took their coats, Andy turned to Vik as he spoke afterward. She asked what she thought, wondering if it was worth it to spend some time in. She shrugged, "we can always find that coat closet if we get bored."@vik

"I can't argue with you there," Vik answered with a smirk. She was right. Anytime the two of them did something, they found time to be alone together, ever since that first day when he found her tied up in his kitchen. His smile grew as he remembered that day, how she'd threatened to attack him and kissed him instead. The perfect start to it all.
She suggested that there would be less magical items and Vik rolled his eyes at her, "No kidding," he answered sarcastically, though he was still smiling at her. He couldn't really be rude to her on purpose. He looked over at her when she said she didn't think she'd see a ceiling like this again. "If you ever want to, I can take you to my parent's place," he offered. He couldn't tell if she was disappointed at not seeing a ceiling like that or not.
Andy had a good point. Vik found himself nodding along, "Or we can just sneak around the house and find somewhere fun to hang out," he suggested. It wasn't like anyone here would be able to stop them. They had magic and no one else here did. No matter what, he was sure he and Andy would have a fun time. "You want to dance, my lady?" he asked with a sweet smile.

Vik said he couldn't argue with her that they always ended up alone and she laughed, not commenting further on the subject for now. When she said there would be less magical items at the party he rolled his eyes and gave a sarcastic answer and she glared at him, "shut up," she growled. Then, at the mention of the ceiling, he said that she could go to his parents place. She dropped her jaw a little and turned toward back to look at him, "yikes, that sounds terrible," she admitted. "I'd say we could go to my parents place, but I blew that house up," she explained casually. He said they could sneak around and find somewhere fun to hang out and she slapped his arm with the back of her hand, "ooh! Like a wine cellar!" When he asked if she wanted to dance she raised an eyebrow slowly at him, her own smile growing on her lips, "I suppose. Are you any good? Did they teach you how to dance in that big house of yours?" she challenged, stepping close to him and taking his hands, "because I'm very good."@vik

Vik was definitely surprised when she said yikes at his mention of his parent's ceiling. Then she said she blew up her parent's house and he knew his face showed his surprise. He chuckled after a second. "Oookay! Let's keep our ceilings a little lower then," he teased, trying to make light of the situation. he wanted to learn more about her, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to get all deep with her here. "Pretty sure my parents would throw a fit if I exploded theirs," he added with a laugh, just thinking about the look that would be on their faces.
Her excitement when he mentioned sneaking around was obvious. At her idea, his head bobbed excitedly. "Yes! Just like that," he answered. "You just say the word when you're bored and we'll find it."
Andy asked if he was any good and Vik smirked at her, "They did. My parents were big on parties and me knowing how to behave properly. Doesn't mean I do it, but I definitely know how." He moved into a proper dancing position with her, starting to waltz along with the music, feeling quite confident. "So how's this?" Vik teased.

He said they'd keep their ceilings a little lower and she laughed, "done." Then he said his parents would throw a fit if he exploded their house and she nodded, "I mean... I think my parents would have been upset too if they had lived through it," she shrugged. How was it so easy to be so CASUAL about things around him? Her life was a mess, she knew that, it sometimes made her incredibly depressed - but with Vik... it felt like it wasn't that bad. Everything could be put away in a drawer and he'd keep it far away from her. That's just how it felt to be with him. He agreed that they could find the wine cellar when she said the word. She stepped closer to him, gently clasping the front of his shirt, "I'm sure we could find something fun to do there," she suggested. Then they were moving into a dancing position as he said his parents did teach him well - and how to behave properly. "We have that in common," and he didn't disappoint. Their form was perfect, they probably could have passed a professional dance competition. "Dang," she said as they moved, "I was kind of hoping to find your fatal flaw tonight... well, there's still time."@vik

It was easy to talk with her. She laughed as he joked about the ceilings and then let a little bit of her story out, saying that her parents might have been upset if they'd lived through the explosion. He nodded, though curiosity was welling inside of him. Why would she explode the house if her parents were inside? Obviously she didn't get along with them, but still? She was an enigma, but he didn't want to make the mood too serious for the night. "Well, that sounds about right," he muttered in response, feeling like he did need to say something. He smiled at her, hoping she didn't feel uncomfortable.
"You do? I think I'll have to let you show me then," he teased, looking down at her and smirking. He was certain that he wouldn't be surprised by what happened in the wine cellar, but he knew that he'd enjoy it.
Dancing with her was definitely easier than he expected. Sure, lots of girls said they knew how to dance, but that didn't mean they actually did. Most of the time they just said that for show. He was glad to see that Andy actually did know. He danced silently with her for a bit, until she admitted that dancing wasn't his fatal flaw. "You have all the time in the world," he teased, "but good luck finding it." He couldn't tell if she'd hate him if she knew his habit of nicking things from people. A part of him thought she'd be impressed. "I could show you other skills if you'd rather," he teased. Now that he was thinking about it, he wanted to see how she'd react. If she didn't approve ... he'd figure something out. He wouldn't admit that it was his job, for sure. Just make it seem like a hobby or something.

He said that it sounded about right, quietly, but she didn't respond to that. She didn't really worry if her honesty made him feel weird. It was just easy to be honest around him so she didn't really bother trying to cover it up. It had been a year since her parents deaths, too, so she definitely didn't bother mourning for them. He said that she'd have to show him what they could do in the wine cellar and she grinned mischievously, "don't rush me. We'll get there," she teased. Just then a woman walked past with a rather impressive necklace and Andy cocked her head to one side, surveying it, before moving on. He wished her luck in finding his fatal flaw, which was NOT dancing. It was amusing to her how they had both been raised in wealthy households and were now using the skills learned there. He said he could show her other skills and her eyebrow raised high, "intriguing... like what?"@vik

Vik grinned when Andy told him not to rush her and that they'd end up in the wine cellar. "Sounds good to me," he muttered, his attention drawn to the necklace that Andy looked at for a bit. It was pretty, and apparently the kind of thing that got Andy's attention. He'd have to remember that for the future.
Apparently "the future" wasn't too far off though. They were coming dangerously close to him wanting to reveal his habit of stealing. He hadn't told her about it before now, not because he wanted to keep it a secret or anything, more because he didn't find a situation in which he actually could comfortably tell her about it. He tutted softly when she asked him what. "I said show, not tell ... so if you wanna find out, just give the word." Vik cocked his head, looking at her again for a moment. "Though if you do wanna see, I'll have to leave you for a little bit. Maybe a dance or two." Andy was a big girl and could take care of herself, but Vik also didn't want to just walk away from her without warning. Whether or not she learned about his skills tonight was up to her now.
