HAVING SPENT MUCH OF HER CHRISTMAS AT home, Luna had had to hear about Harry's official return in the newspaper. Her husband had been quite thrilled and thought his wife would like to hear about it promptly. She'd had to then sit him down and tell him rather plainly that she'd known the entire time. But, a promise was a promise and Luna had always kept her word. It was such an important thing to keep pure; your word. Especially between friends.
Afterwards, she hadn't a chance to see Harry much at all. There was such a tension surrounding it all, with the dragons escape - which had concerned her deeply, to the fight at Azkaban resulting in many convicts fleeing. There was much to consider that friendly chats just weren't on the agenda. No matter if Luna wished they were, it simply wasn't the reality. So, when she happened to be on a jaunt in to London, Luna took the opportunity before it slipped from between her fingers. She'd known that Harry had been keeping a bit of a low profile since his return, but she also knew his penchant for disguises so upon seeing a familiar face leaving the Ministry, she took it upon herself to be there when they did.
She fell in step with him naturally, her hands swishing at her sides. As if they'd been walking in tandem from the very start. "Hello," She greeted him, turning her head briefly to shoot him a very serene smile before she turned back to watch the waves of Muggles bustle around them. Luna preferred to walk at a more leisurely pace, but sometimes London was not willing to stroll alongside her. It moved at a much quicker rate. "I trust everything is swell at the Ministry... Harry." She said, a question without really seeking a very specific answer. She was simply happy to be in his company once more.

Harry had been disguised as Ron for his meeting with Hermione, which may have seemed a tad suspicious considering his two best friends weren't romantically involved anymore... but Ron still had reasons to go there, of course. As he exited the Ministry he found someone walking side by side with him, and he grinned, turning to look at her. "Well, if it isn't Luna Lovegood," he used her maiden name, it just felt right for the moment. "Is it my tie that gave me away? I suppose it's a bit more fashionable than what's usually... worn..." he joked, but was still keeping an eye out since they were so close to the Ministry. He continued walking, letting her walk alongside. "Care for a stroll? The Ministry was swell, indeed. Well. As swell as it can be," he answered. (Just made him disguised as Ron but it still works) LUNA LACHESIS TRELAWNEY

LUNA HAD ALWAYS APPRECIATED HARRY'S ABILITY to take everything in his stride. He never seemed to falter too much, like he always knew what to do, even when he didn't. She had an odd, childlike belief in him, even as an adult. Her smile grew to a toothy one when he acknowledged her knowingly. Not at all perturbed by her ability to pick out his disguise as someone else might have been. She inspected his tie carefully, eyes narrowing slightly before she nodded.
"Of course," She sang playing along. "Ronald would never wear a double windsor so tightly." She didn't actually know this, but he did look a little too pristine for Ron, who was a very successful man who still seemed to wear all of his shirts untucked. And then she looked up at his head, where his signature cowlick was still defiantly present, even in its tufty redness. "Plus, there's that." She whispered, blinking at the cowlick and pointing at it rather obviously.
"Aren't we already strolling?" She asked him teasingly as they walked side by side, though it came out so soft it might have been taken seriously by somebody who didn't know her so well. "How are you, Harry?" She asked, suddenly serious, her lips closed in a soft, thin line. "Truly."

She agreed that Ron would never wear a double windsor so tightly and harry reached up to the knot and tried to dishevel it a little. He had no idea if that was true either, but he did know that he always had dressed less... casually than Ron. She looked up to his head and Harry reached up, touching the spot in his hair and cursing under his breath. "Must be almost time to hide out," he suggested. His hair had a mind of it's own, even in Polyjuice mode. She suggested that they were already strolling, teasing him. He chuckled, shaking his head, "I suppose you aren't incorrect." She asked how he was, her tone growing more serious. His brow furrowed, Ron's brow, and he gave a short shake of his head. "Not well, I don't think," he admitted as they continued onward. "I feel... conflicted. Perhaps you could help. You're teaching at the school now," he started. "I've been considering that maybe that's the best place for me to be. Though, I'd need a new disguise or would need to be myself," he mused. LUNA LACHESIS TRELAWNEY

WITH A SLIGHT LAUGH LUNA WATCHED HARRY attempt to ruffle his tightly knotted tie. No matter that she was sure Harry would know better than she. He still took her advice like she might have known a little something more. She liked that. Though, the cowlick was perhaps the most telling thing of all. But, one had to know Harry to know it belonged to him, so she thought he was doing quite alright, all things considered.
"I'm always happy to help you, Harry." She said, reaching up to pat his arm encouragingly. Although, she had long since proven her loyalty towards him. Especially as she had lied to her best friend, Ginny, to aide him in his search for the witch hunters. But, Luna had to admit. She liked that he still sought her advice. However big or small. "Oh, I think you'd be a wonderful professor!" Luna declared, rising up on her tip toes in delight. Her hands she clapped together once before keeping them clasped there.
"And I say that you be yourself," Luna said, her expression smoothing over to something a little more serious. "They say the best disguises are in plain sight." Luna had been a part of the Battle of Hogwarts, but even still the school was incredibly well fortified. Perhaps even more so after the events that took place in her second last year. "You know you would be welcomed with open arms." There were still plenty of people who knew what Harry had done for wizarding kind. The whole of Dumbledore's Army and more. There was still people who respected him. Maybe even feared him a little bit.

She seemed to find it amusing that he was attempting to mess with his tie, and that made him smile at the action as well. Still, he was feeling incredibly conflicted about being in hiding. There were certain advantages to people thinking he was dead, but he didn't necessarily like not being able to go out and do what he wanted. It reminded him of the year he and Ron and Hermione spent hunting down the horcruxes. He didn't really want to live like that again. Luna excitedly said that she was always happy to help him. Which of course he expected and was also happy about. He listened to her response, she said that he would make a wonderful professor and the best disguises were in plain sight. He wasn't sure that he knew what that meant at first. If he went to the school asked himself, then surely Elaine and her cronies would know he was there. Though, in the case of the witch hunters, Hogwarts was probably the safest place to be since they did not know its location. Still, he pressed his lips in worry. "I guess I see what you mean," he said softly. "But you know," he looked around to see if anyone was nearby that may be listening in, it seemed there wasn't. He knew better than to believe that people couldn't hear from far away, but he spoke anyway. "You know the real danger is out there, the ones worse than Elaine. I'm afraid if I go to Hogwarts I could draw them there, you know?" His voice was hushed and he had to lean in to her in order to be heard. In reality he may have been being a little bit self-involved. The witch hunters had never said they were after Harry Potter specifically, what would they care about him? But, for some reason he always thought of himself as the main target. "I do... I do think that I'd like to be a bigger part of preparing the students for the world out here, especially since I'm more aware of how dangerous it really is now." LUNA LACHESIS TRELAWNEY
