Freedom was such a sweet, sweet thing. Sarah had spent the last few months at Azkaban, but that was a story unto itself and she wasn’t much in the sharing mood. All anyone needed to know was she was out of prison. Not as an escaped convict, but as a Magical interpol employee. It was a unique, and oh so pleasant situation because it gave her some great material to rub in the noses of certain individuals.
In particular, she needed to rub her freedom, and ‘deputizing’, in Callisto’s nose. Call it malicious, or sadistic, but in Sarah’s mind it was very much necessary. WHy? Because while Callisto had been raising Sarah’s son the past few months Callisto needed to know just how easily Sarah could take him back, if she wanted.
Unfortunately, there was a flaw in Sarah’s plan. Callisto didn’t work today. So here she was at St. Mungos, drinking a cup of coffee in the small cafe and contemplating her next move.

Not much time had passed since Callisto had told Ophelia of Dakota’s murder, but she felt like an entirely new person. When she had left the hospital, Ophelia had stood in her bedroom, looking at herself in the mirror for quite some time. She hardly recognized the expression on her face; angry, hateful, full of vengeance. Without thinking twice, she had raised her wand and changed her hair color to a silvery blonde. The brown had been what she always had, except for that one time in fifth year when it had been a shocking yellow in Transfiguration before the professor had stepped in. She was not the person she used to be though. She had lost her baby, possibly the one man in the world who loved her unconditionally, and the man who could have possibly filled that void. What else did she have to lose? What did she have left? Her job, her family? How long would it be before Sarah went after them too out of spite? No, she would not let that happen. It was time to shed the meek, sweet Ophelia Mae Teller and unleash the fire she always had inside her. She did not know what brought her to the tea room that morning; she hardly drank tea anymore, but something in her gut was telling her to visit the fifth floor. When she walked in, she stopped short at who she saw. Sarah. For a moment, a pulse of fear quivered through her, but the wrathful fire soon took its’ place. Chin up and proud, Ophelia walked calmly over the table and sat down opposite of Sarah without asking if the seat was taken. “Thought you were abroad,” she said cooly, not bothering with formalities; that was not Sarah’s way, and when it came to her, she had no need of them either. sarah jane oliveira

Sarah had been growing bored during her little ‘coffee break’ when a blonde sat across from her without any warning. Sarah didn’t recognize the individual immediately, but upon looking at them realized it was Ophelia, former lover of her dearly departed older brother. But to be honest, Dakota had had many lovers over the years. The only reason she’d been ‘special’ because she’s been the only one stupid enough to get knocked up by Dakota. That, of course, hadn’t lasted long and the reason almost broke a smirk to her lips. Sarah managed to mask it behind her cup as she took a sip.
Ophelia was the first to speak, taking very little time to state that Sarah had been abroad. Setting her cup back on the table, Sarah’s smirk was finally visible. ”Depends on your definition of abroad.” Cryptic, but also quite true. Azkaban was ‘owned’ by the British Ministry, but it wasn’t on British soil. ”You make a far better blonde than a brunette.”

Ophelia raised an eyebrow but said nothing. She had no doubt that wherever Sarah had been, trouble had followed her. It always did, no matter how many times her siblings defended her. Sarah was a wild animal, one that needed to be chained up. It was a pity that Azkaban had been partially destroyed to a point where the prisoners were no longer safely locked up there, she would have fit in perfectly. “A lot of things have changed since you’ve been gone. If you stick around long enough I’m sure you’ll find more of them,” she said, her tone matching Sarah’s verbatim. She leaned forward slightly, her eyes trained directly on the woman in front of her. “What are you doing here? I would know if Sebastian or Mina were in the hospital, and I know Callisto is off duty today,” she asked point blank. Sarah had no business being at the hospital, or if she did, it wasn’t anything good. "Seems an odd place for someone to just have a cup of coffee, or are Muggle cafes not pet friendly?" she added. sarah jane oliveira

Sarah’s smirk turned into a wide, and very toothy grin, a trade mark of Sarah’s. It’s was a predatory smile. Ophelia’s words had more bite to them then normal. Sweet, sweet Ophelia seems to have grown a bit of a backbone. At least for now. How long Ophelia’s new found courage would last... Well, that sounded like a very fun game. ”Has it? Well I am planning on sticking around for a little while. Sounds like fun.” Oh the mayhem Sarah could get into. Not to mention she was getting paid to hunt people. Talk about a dream job.
Sarah raised an eyebrow at Ophelia’s directness, demanding to know why she was at the Hospital and ruling out all Sarah’s familiar reasons. Sarah mirrored Ophelia’s body language, leaning forward and never breaking eye contact. ”Still obsessed with my family, I see. You know, you should really see someone about that.” THen, the werewolf insult. It wasn’t the first Sarah had heard a werewolf insult and it certainly wouldn’t be the last. ”Really? I thought it was a great choice, since you’re oh so pet friendly.”

Ophelia didn’t flinch at the slight about being obsessed with the Oliviera family, on the contrary she returned Sarah’s grin. “Oh yes, Cal and I have grown close working together you know. It was she who sought me out when she heard the terrible news about your brother. She and your sister have been a great comfort to me during this troubled time. Your son as well, what a precious child he is. Cal is such a wonderful influence on him.” Her meaning was plain enough, Ophelia knew she didn’t have to spell it out for Sarah. She laughed lightly at Sarah’s next comment. “Well yes I am quite pet friendly, but the hospital does have its’ policies on wild animals running about its’ floors. Patient safety you know is a priority of ours, as their recovery and well-being is our responsibility. Surely you can understand that.” She leaned in a little closer. “I expect you’ll find many things have changed in your absence Sarah, most of all, you’ll find that I’ve changed. I’m not a scared little girl anymore,” she said in a quiet voice. She thought of her power, the ability to take away all feelings and emotion for someone. Sarah didn’t deserve that though, she deserved to be inflicted with all the pain and emotion she felt every time she laid her hands on a troubled patient. She wondered if there was a way to reverse her power, to inflict someone with all the troubles she felt, but now was not the time to mull over that idea. “I’m glad to hear you’ll be sticking around. I’ve heard Ares has been making inquiries as to Seb’s well-being lately, so perhaps he’ll be out of Callisto’s care sooner than expected.”sarah jane oliveira
