Irina had just woken up from a dream. She still wasn’t sure if it was a vision or just a dream, but it had involved Dan once more. She had dreamt of her partner more than once over the past few months, and not all of them had been good. This one was one of the bad ones; Dan alone in an alleyway, scared with the weight of emotions pressing down on him like a hammer. She had jumped awake with a gasp, and had to remind herself she had just been sleeping. Dan wasn’t exactly the best with talking about his power, but he was getting better. Irina knew she had to let him come to her, and not force anything out of him, lest he feel that she was making things worse. Still, to have this recurring nightmare as often as she was...it was troubling. Her hand on the doorknob, Irina was about to walk out of her bedroom into the shared bathroom when she heard the front door open. She frowned; Tia she had seen last night going to bed, and Trixie had been away - or at least that’s what Irina thought. She removed her wand from the pocket of her dressing gown and crept silently down the hallway, ready to attack if necessary. She almost dropped her wand in surprise when she saw it was none other than Trixie standing in the doorway, a ripped rag covering her eyes and looking far worse than she last saw her. “Seven hells Trixie,” she breathed, rushing over to her roommate and grabbing her arm gently. “Let’s get you to the couch, and I’ll make you some tea,” she said, leading her gently towards the living room. She was about to ask what on earth had happened, but she figured Trixie would be telling her shortly. @rivune @tia

Irina could tell Trixie was about a heartbeat away from hysterics, but had to admit she was impressed with how she was holding it together. The cloth wrapped around her eyes was damp and spotted with what was likely blood or sweat (or perhaps a combination), and Irina didn’t think she was the right person to help Trixie with the medical aspect of it all. That would be Tia, who was a Mediwizard in training and of course, conveniently not home yet. So Irina would make tea and try and keep Trixie as calm as possible while they waited. “Do you know who did this to you?” she asked her roommate as she levitated the tea kettle from the stove to the serving plate on their coffee table. She poured Trixie a cup of tea and one for herself, sitting back on the couch next to her. Irina’s eyes widened as Trixie admitted she had a few secrets to tell, and she needed someone she can trust. “You can trust me,” she told her quietly, cupping the mug of tea with both hands as she waited for Trixie to make her final decision. Whichever it was, she would respect her wishes and not pry into what happened unless she was told. @rivune @tia

TIA HAD AWOKEN SHORTLY AFTER IRINA BUT hadn't moved immediately. Perhaps that was to her own detriment, but Tia slept fairly deeply in her room full of plants. Her rescued bowtruckle often curled around a nest of her dark brown hair. So, when she did awaken it was to the sound of hushed voices. She wandered towards it cautiously, her bare feet entirely silent on the wooden floor as she hovered near the living room doorway. For a few minutes she simply listened from the outskirts.
It was a story that horrified Tia, but she stayed entirely stoic. Quietly observing as Irina played matron, being the soft and comforting figure Trixie so obviously needed. Tia was a healer, but she could be incredibly clinical sometimes. Trixie had gotten hurt, but how and why were her firs thoughts. She'd always admired the woman's skill and her odd sense of humour, but she didn't really know Trixie the way that she knew Irina.
Once she dipped her head to sip her tea, Tia turned her back and wandered back in to her room, she fished out three different phials from her large, wooden apothecary table and quietly reentered the living room, stepping forward to make herself known once and for all. Tia didn't like the limelight, but she took it when she felt confident enough.
"Take this," She told Trixie by way of greeting. "For the pain and... the shock." Her hand jutted out, giving Trixie no option but to take what was offered. And when she stepped back, she crossed her arms. "You killed them, didn't you?" She asked soberly. Her face was carefully blank, but she already knew the truth. Looking at the awful scarring over Trixie's ruined face, Tia couldn't think of anything else. Be it self defence, or raw fury from what had been down to her, Tia felt she knew how the exchange had ended.
@rivune , Irina Rose Krum sorry i took forever! finally getting to my outstanding threads!

Irina paled considerably when Trixie said the person who had attacked her was likely going after other Seers. She didn’t think Trixie could see her complexion, but she had yet to tell her roommates she was a Seer as well; it wasn’t something she particularly enjoyed broadcasting to the world after all, especially with the night terrors that came with it. She had been able to contain her screams when she would be jerked from sleep by them, but that had come with a lot of practice before moving out. She was grateful that Tia entered the room, phials in hand to help Trixie. Irina didn’t know what to say when Tia point-blank stated that Trixie had killed the person who attacked her. The thought hadn’t even crossed her mind; Trixie was a pretty badass person, and she supposed if it came down to her or the other guy, she’d go down fighting. Still, it was hard to kill someone and live with the knowledge after the fact. “How do you figure Tia?” she asked softly, but turned back as Trixie’s hysterics ended with the fact that she didn’t know any other Seers. With a reluctance, Irina sighed and gently took Trixie’s hand. “Yes, you do,” she whispered, then hesitated and glanced over at Tia. “I’m a Seer too.”@rivune @tia
