February 10th, 2025 @all you Purifiers that want to have some fun!
Ambrosia wasn’t a front line soldier. She preferred to work in environments she could control. She preferred her experiments, her lab, and getting others to do the front line work for her. Today, she had a number of experiments that she needed some assistance with, all at varying stages of development. So, she’d sent out a notice to a number of Purifiers, notifying them of her need for assistants. Who knew who might answer the call, but the call was out, and only time would tell.
Ambrosia’s house had quite a bit of protective charms and barriers. It’s apparition charms redirected all apparating witches and wizards to the front gate, so that no one could enter the property without being noticed. Other enchantments could actually prevent the entrance of individuals onto the property, unless given permission by Ambrosia or Bethany, though those spells had been lowered today. Since she was (hopefully) expecting company today, Ambrosia didn’t want any to be deterred from assisting her.
The security troll was currently stationed by the front gate, waiting for any that might appear. Meanwhile, Ambrosia sat on the porch of her home, sipping on a cup of green tea as she watched and waited for any to appear. Should someone arrive, the security troll would send them her way.
(Basically this is a 'party thread' for the Purifiers, so no posting order or anything! Just an awesome thread for Purifiers to do some bad guy stuff. Got a bunch of things Ambrosia could organize, so it gives me a chance to play out her schemes, and you guys a chance to cause some chaos!)

The first to arrive was a bright haired, and blind girl. Ambrosia’s expression didn’t change, but she felt a moment of disgust. Not that she was blind, but because such flamboyance in your appearance was distasteful in her opinion. Ambrosia preferred clean, classy looks. She also didn’t like flamboyance because it drew attention. She preferred flying under the radar.
Nonetheless, this individual was at least answering Ambrosia’s call for assistance, so Ambrosia wasn’t going to say no. She could find something for this individual to do.
Setting her cup down on the side table, Ambrosia folded her hands delicately in her lap as the young woman stopped at the bottom step. ”Yes, I did. I have a variety of projects in need of outside assistance. What are some of your specialities? So that I might see which project you’d be best suited for.”
@rivune @all you other Purifiers that want to come! (Like I said, I got a bunch of stuff I can give your Purifiers! You can come get a mission to use in other threads!)

Ambrosia was very still as the young woman seemed to take things in, and finally started to respond. There was a bit of attitude, something that irked Ambrosia, but she’d ignore it for now. She needed assistants, plain and simple. Plus the young woman, Trix as she called herself, had given just the sort of information Ambrosia needed.
”At St. Mungos, I assume?” She asked, though was certain that was the case since most healers worked at the hospital with only a small few at other venues. ”Please, join me. There are three steps in front of you, and a chair just to your right. Jorpey, please pull the chair out for our guest.” While the first part of her words had been directed to Trix, the last had been to someone else entirely. A house elf stepped out from inside the house and quickly pulled the chair mentioned out, positioning it in a way that would be easy to locate. The house elf wasn’t that memorable in appearance, very plain and simple, but he was clean and looked well taken care of.
”Jorpey, please bring me files 22-REV-91 and 25-CON-1.” Ambrosia addressed her house elf. Despite the fact that house elves were considered servants, she spoke quite respectfully. Though, to be honest, she didn’t seem like the sort to act disrespectful to anyone, even those in her servitude. The house elf nodded quickly and scurried off inside. Moving her cup of tea off to the side, she rested her now folded hands on top of the table between her own seat and the one offered to Trix. ”I have two projects that you may be of assistance. I’ll explain both, and then you can decide which you are interested in.” The house elf came hurrying back, two large folders in it’s arms. Ambrosia offered a smile as she accepted them. ”Thank you. That is all for now.” With another nod, the house elf returned inside.
”St. Mungos recently finished a clinical trial of three new potions and has begun using these potions in a handful of cases. I need samples of these potions, but only those with St. Mungos access can retrieve the samples from the labs.” She paused for a moment, taking the file on top, and moving it under the other file.
”I also require one of the record keepers at St. Mungos. They have information I need, and I can extract it myself. I am not in a position to retrieve one of these individuals myself, however.” Ambrosia placed her hands on the files once more.
@rivune @still open to more purifiers! (I have several other stuff that wasn’t offered to Trix)

Aerick had the night off, for once, and since Ondina wasn’t available for any fun, he had contented himself with a night in, with a good glass of whiskey on the rocks. Sipping his drink slowly, he reclined on his soft white leather couch and perused the Daily Prophet. Nothing interesting, nobody he knew had been caught or questioned, all was quiet on the Wizarding front. How utterly boring. As if someone had read his mind, an owl tapped at his window, and he immediately stood up to let it in. Aerick read the letter quickly and smirked. A night working with Ambrosia was never boring, and who was he to turn down this type of opportunity? Setting down his drained glass, he pulled on his leather jacket and Apparated to the border of the Hong house. The security troll out front was a nice touch; he knew Ambrosia prided herself on secrecy and security, so he allowed the troll to escort him into the house where the woman was waiting . “Ambrosia,” he acknowledged, inclining his head towards her with a half smile. “And Trixie, nice to see you again,” he added, noticing the Healer had also arrived. He glanced around, and saw no one else. “Just the three of us then?” he questioned, one eyebrow raised as he turned back to Ambrosia. @ambrosia @rivune

Ambrosia expression was quite serious, and a half frown had formed. ”If I wanted the recipes that’s what I would ask for,” was her first response, confirming that Ambrosia knew exactly what she wanted and substitutes wouldn’t be tolerated. ”If you feel the task is outside your abilities however, I can find someone else.” And then the response on the record keeper, adding that Ambrosia didn’t have to keep the individual alive after. Ambrosia’s frown fully formed then. ”All you’d need to worry about is getting one of the record keepers to me.” Ambrosia didn’t waste time, or resources. If her plan didn’t call for killing the individual then she wouldn’t kill someone for the hell of it. Every action, every step, had a purpose. Deviating from the plan would only attract unnecessary attention and complications.
After responding, a new arrival entered Ambrosia’s estate, directed towards the house by the security troll. Ambrosia immediately recognize the individual, Aerick Adler. He helped maintain Club Indigo’s cover as a simple night club and keep the public from discovering it was a Purifier outpost. His arrival meant that either he’d decided to volunteer his time to Ambrosia’s efforts, or he was on an errand for Elaine.
”Aerick, welcome. It’s been some time. Did Elaine send you? Unfortunately I’m still waiting on the eyes for that particular project.” It sounded incredibly cryptic, but Aerick would know what she was referring to. Really though, what could Ambrosia be working on that required eyes? ”Unless, of course you’re here for my other projects?”

Bethany arrived quietly, hanging by the back for a moment as the others talked. She eyed Aerick and Trixie from her spot against the back wall. She liked to watch Ambrosia do her thing. She was an idol to Bethany, someone who had amazing powers that she could only dream of. Bethany wasn't quite that good yet, but she was getting there. Slowly.
Finally, she left the wall and moved up to join the others, raising her hand a little before speaking, "what kind of eyes?" she asked.

Alyona had gotten word that there was a Purifier that needed assistance. Usually, she only kept to herself in her "study" and "testing room," but she wondered if helping this other person would offer some enlightenment to her project. She had recently finished and successfully tested the bomb that she was working on before New Years, and it had gone smashingly. Now, she was working on another and hit another snag, something that she needed to work out. But she needed a clear head for it and some parts. Helping the other might lead to some new ideas and allow her to obtain said parts.
She left her study and made her way to where she heard voices, a small cluster of people standing around one woman. She smirked, "Did someone say eyes?" she questioned, hearing one of them ask what kind. She always did love butting into conversations, and now that she was standing among them all, she took in each person. The Purifiers did have an unusual amount of females in the ranks.

Aerick smirked as the two other girls joined the small group and immediately asked about the eyes. Of course he was privy to what Bros was talking about, but he had been specifically instructed to keep the information to himself. “My apologies ladies, but that’s strictly classified between us,” he told them smoothly, nodding towards Ambrosia. “I was here actually to follow up on the message I received this morning, about needing some...volunteers?” he told her, raising an eyebrow in inquiry. He presumed that was why everyone else was here too, but he could have been mistaken. Bethany was Ambrosia’s sister after all, and Ambrosia wore many hats within the Purifiers society. “Whatever you require I offer myself as a volunteer, as long as it does not permanently affect my..affliction,” he added with a smirk. Ambrosia was one of the very few who knew Aerick was an Animagus, whose form was kept a secret by Elaine to keep his enforcer position strong. @ambrosia @rivune @bethany @alyona

Before Aerick had responded to her comment there were two new arrivals. The first, was her half sister Bethany. A complicated and infuriating situation to say the least. Not because she had a half sister, but because Bethany’s mother’s side had tried to hide her from the Hong’s. Ambrosia was normally not a vengeful person, but she was making an exception for Roche’s. If they ever showed their face Ambrosia’s contacts would let her know immediately. Another individual arrived as well, one that Ambrosia hadn’t worked extensively with but knew of. Alyona did explosive work for Elaine. Both commented on her remark to Aerick, specifically her comment about the missing ‘eyes’. Ambrosia smiled, but didn’t say anything. Aerick though was quick to respond. ”Unfortunately he’s correct.”
Aerick went on to specify that he was there to help, as long as it wouldn’t compromise one of his secrets. Ambrosia nodded in understanding, then looked to Alyona and Bethany. While Bethany’s presence wasn’t odd (since it was the Hong estate), they both could be here for the same reason. ”Can I count on both of you to assist as well?”
Though, first and foremost, as Trix hadn’t decided on if she would be helping or not, Ambrosia would address Aerick. It was especially useful that she knew several of his skills recently. ”Are you wanting to be a test subject, or would you prefer one of my other projects that need assistance?” Might as well give him the option.

Aerick stated that it was between him and Ambrosia, and she confirmed that. Alyona had arrived too, curious as Bethany was. But, Bethany respected secrecy. She nodded, taking a step up to stand beside Aerick as he said that he was here to volunteer with Ambrosias message. He mentioned an 'affliction' to which Bethany raised an eyebrow at him, but didn't say anything.
Bethany nodded as Ambrosia addressed her and Alyona, ”yes, of course,” she answered firmly, entirely too serious. Well, maybe this was serious anyway. She folded her arms over her chest but she stepped up even closer to Aerick so they were side by side across from Ambrosia. He seemed like someone Ambrosia trusted, and Bethany figured (maybe subconsciously) that standing near him would get her a better place on the new job.
Bethany addressed him, asking if he wanted to be a 'test subject' or prefer another project. Test subject? That sounded terrifying and yet... exhilarating. Bethany had sort of developed an addiction to magic ever since she started to actually formally learn it. Anything new the Hongs wanted to try out, she was the first to jump in. It was like a high for her. Still, she didn't say anything since Aerick was being addressed first. Honestly, Bethany didn't know what to think of the blind girl making comments she didn't understand toward Alyona. Well, aside from the bomb part, that was Alyonas thing.

Aerick just smiled his mysterious smile at Bethany as she raised her brow at him. Only Ambrosia, Ondina and Elaine knew he was an Animagus and it wasn’t something he liked to draw attention to. He had studied the practice after graduating from Ilvermorny, but he had never registered with the British Ministry. The less people that needed to know about his python form, the better in his opinion. “I have the night off tonight Trixie, my apologies if you were planning on being there later. Tomorrow night though, I’ll be on the bar all night long, serving everyone their hearts desires,” he addressed the bright haired woman with an impish grin. “Other projects I think. Might not want to get anything too messed up after all,” Aerick finally told Ambrosia, uncrossing his arms and shoving his hands in his pockets. He doubted much could hinder his ability to transform, but he was not about to risk it, with Elaine’s plans involving it essential. @ambrosia @rivune @bethany @alyona

Ambrosia’s eyes narrowed as Trix left, her last words to Ambrosia leaving a bad aftertaste in her mouth. This young woman said she’d get both, so Ambrosia would just have to wait and see what happened. She didn’t say anything else, as Trix was already leaving. Instead, Ambrosia looked to her half sister and Aerick. After a moment’s thought, she finally decided what project they’d be best suited for.
”Actually, I have a project I could use both of your expertise.” She started, pausing momentarily to push the files Jorpey had gotten for her to the back of the table and out of the way. ”There’s a shop in Dublin, the Gaelic Knot. I’ve heard rumors that they’ve discovered how to grow a rare herb that is only found a few weeks each summer in very remote areas of Iceland.” She folded her hands in her lap, leaning back in her chair as she watched both of them. ”Interested?”
(Idea I’m going with is that Aerick can be the brute force behind it, and Bethany can find the plant/understand any research they find, since we’ve talked about Ambrosia training Bethany in magic a bit, she probably would have covered a lot of that kind of stuff.) @aerick @bethany @alyona

Bethany perked up when Ambrosia said she had an idea for herself and Aerick. She looked to him for a split second before turning back to Ambrosia as she spoke of the plan. Bethany grinned, nodding. "Yes, I love it,"/b] she said, maybe a little too eager for the 'cool' level she was trying to achieve. She cleared her throat and straightened up again, regaining her usual regal posture. "I'm sure together we can access the information. Are you wanting some of the specimen brought back for our use?"

Aerick smiled at Ambrosia’s proposal. “Haven’t been to Dublin in a few years, think it’s about time I headed there, don’t you? The accents are....fascinating,” he said with a light chuckle. He vaguely remembered a girl he’d met the last time he was in Dublin, a Muggle girl with flaming red hair he’d meant to keep in touch with, but he had never been good at any of that relationship business. “Send me instructions the usual was Bros, I’ve got to get going. Got a date with a pretty girl who has been ‘randomly’ frequenting Club Indigo for a few weeks now. Better not keep her waiting,” he told her with a wink. He nodded at the other two and left the place, a small spring in his step knowing that he’d soon be needed for a little bit of muscle. It had been several weeks since he and Ondina had retrieved the egg, and he was starting to get bored. And, it wasn’t good when Aerick started to get bored... @ambrosia shall we put an end to this one now?
