"In dreams I am wed to a faraway boy, a love that has never been. He was all that I knew, he was all that was home I am bound to the love of him"
Willow sang as she strolled down the corridors of the castle with a half eaten orange persimmon in hand. A most delightful fruit that had the consistency of a berry. Her long dress unfolded like a flower as she twirled around a corner and let her hand gently strike one of the paintings hanging on the wall. It happened to be of a cat with a witch's hat that started purring. She bit down in the fruit and chewed thoughtfully while still with food in her mouth, she continued her quiet (not so very good) song.
"In the morn I'll be wed to the bonniest boy, and I'll bind my hand to his He is blood of my blood and bone of my bone I am bound to the love of him"
Willow entered the large hall with the moving stairs, and she stopped in the entrance and glanced up toward. A sound went through the air as one of them moved from one door to the other and soon a staircase stopped by her feet. Willow stepped up on it and waited – leaning over the railing and looking down at the bottom floor as it started to float towards another opening from where her black cat entered.
”Blackie! Where have you been?”
Willow said happily as she saw the long furry creature jump up on the stairs and stroll as if the woman was a ghost past her with its green eyes focused on something ahead. But as it passed by her feet, it started rubbing its side against them and Willow giggled, kneeling down and petting her cat. The stairs started moving again, but the woman had no where to go, so she sat down and let the cat crawl up on her lap while she finished the fruit she had been eating.

Trevor hadn't been doing anything too spectacular at the moment. He had just gone in to check on the kids in the Hufflepuff common room. Those kids were far too close to the kitchens for their own good, for snacks were always spread madly across the room. He didn't really mind, though. As all things seemed to be going well with his lovely house, he decided to head up to the classroom and practice his lecture for his class this afternoon.
He had only been in there for about ten minutes when he heard a noise coming down the hall. At first, he couldn't tell what it was so he just stepped closer to the door to listen in. He always loved doing things like this, it was sort of like playing hide and seek. Or being a secret agent! It was quite exciting. Though, Trevor preferred that the exciting stuff stay fictitious.
As soon as Trevor heard the singing passing his classroom, he knew exactly who it was. He stepped out of his classroom and silently followed Willow for a short moment before stepping onto the stair behind her. She seemed to think it was a decent spot to have a seat. Trevor chuckled and walked down beside her, sitting down as well. "Wil!" he said loudly as he leaned in close to her. He reached out and scratched the cat behind the ears, "whenever did you find this precious thing?'

The cat stretched its back, making it first very bowed and high before flattening it into a long round sausage. The cat dug its claws into Willow's skirt and scratched her legs underneath. The woman made a small grimace, but did not say anything to the black furry animal in her lap. Instead she let her hand run absent-mindedly over its fur as she let the staircase carry her to another entrance. One she had no idea where led to. Willow looked at it, debating whether or not she should jump off, but right as she decided to do so, and was about to stand, the stairs moved again.
Willow had absolutely no idea that someone had been following her. But after all, one should have been used to look over his shoulder, when he was at Hogwarts. There were ghosts, owls and strange beings everywhere, and one could not be too careful. Apparently Willow was a bit too much to the careless side than what was good for her. She did not only sit down in front of her follower, she also did not even notice or even hear him until he sat down next to her, and the woman quickly turned her head, getting a bit startled by his presence.
But once seeing who it was, a big smile formed on Willow's lips. Trevor was a fine man, a very fine man indeed. He had very good looks, and she absolutely adored his personality and not to mention his class. He knew so much about muggles that it made Willow's head dizzy. How could one know so much about those strange beings? They were so far ahead with their technology that Willow had given up on trying to learn the name of every device they had.
”Trevor-dear!” Willow greeted him.
Blackie, her cat, was far more fond of the attention it got from the man who had taken a seat next to its owner, so it strolled carelessly over to his lap while purring. But Willow did not care, instead she glanced at Trevor, and then down at the cat before up at him again.
”I got him this summer. I found him in the Magical Menagerie!” She told the man. ”Don't you have classes now? And by the way... Where did you come from? I thought we could not apparate inside the castle...”
Willow was clearly unaware of the fact that Trevor had followed her when she had strolled by his classroom.

Trevor loved the way that Willow fangirled about muggles. It almost made him feel like a celebrity at times. Not that he'd want to be an actual celebrity, but it was nice to have someone who appreciated his background and was interested in it. If there was anyone interested in his home life before Hogwarts, it was Willow huckleberry. And he loved that about her. When she explained where she had gotten the cat, he nodded, listening to every word. "I see. At first I thought she had just wandered into your lap out of nowhere and was just a stray roaming the halls of Hogwarts." he chuckled at that thought before turning his attention to her questions.
"My class doesn't start for another two hours or so. I heard you singing and decide to come after you," he shrugged, feigning innocence as he worded his answers, "I was really quiet, I guess? Something I've gotten rather good at," he gave a short bow as if he had just performed a show and was thanking the audience for their participation. He chuckled again as he straightened up and looked at her once more
She really was a lovely lady, someone that he had admired from afar and when they became friends. She was always a little strange compared to the others in her house, but that's what he loved about her. She wasn't afraid to just do her own things and be herself. Trevor really respected people who were brave like that, because he certainly wasn't as a young man. He kept to the shadows with a few close friends by his side.

Trevor was like Father Christmas or as some other people called, Santa Claus. The analogy was perfect during the holidays. Because as Father Christmas brought wonders and magic to the muggle world, Trevor did the same to his class whenever he taught. Willow had to admit that she often found herself lurking by the door when it happened that he had a class and she didn't. Then she could maybe learn a thing or two from what she caught coming out from the half-closed door to his classroom. Willow's eyes sparkled with Christmas lights and wonders, whenever Trevor said something he knew about the muggle world – and to her it was absolutely wonderful. She loved learning from him.
”Oh wouldn't that have been convenient?” Willow giggled in response to him thinking that Blackie was a stray cat. ”Then I wouldn't have to spend money on buying him...”
She tapped a long finger against her chin while thinking. She could have gotten him from a farm that gave out kittens for free. It was often that the farms placed in the area of the forest where her mother lived had half-stray cats to catch mice and rats. But once the cat got a litter, it became too inconvenient for the keepers. So they handed out kittens for free.
”What are you going to teach them today?” Willow asked, when Trevor said that his class did not start for another two hours.
The woman tilted her head while looking at him. He had been very quiet indeed. Maybe he had been a cat in his former life. She did not know, but it was possible. And yes, Willow believed in reincarnation. She did not know what she could have been before, but she loved guessing about other people.
”You should become a spy, as quiet as you are.”

"That would have been very lovely! But," he scratched the little cat behind the ears, "At least he has a happy home nonetheless, right?" he commented. No matter how one came to be in a better situation than before, it was just good to be there. To be in a good place. Trevor had gone through a lot to get in a good place. He had gone through years of working with mentors and friends to get over his fathers death. Even his own siblings didn't struggle as much as he did. Why? Because Trevors father died in his own lap while his younger siblings were off gallivanting, being kids. They were lucky. As was this cat, for getting such a fabulous owner who would love it through and through.
Trevor turned toward her even more as his smile grew at her question, "I'm going to teach them how to develop muggle photos," he said happily and excitedly. "See, I don't know if you knew this already, but Muggle photos don't move. Plus, they have a completely different development process. I think you would actually find it quite fascinating, Will," he knew how much she loved learning about new muggle things. Heck, she made him feel like he was actually an interesting person, whereas many other wizards thought his childhood was a dull subject.
Trevor laughed at her comment about being a spy, and even more about the way she tilted her head to the side. She was always so sweet, so innocent. Trevor was lucky to have her around. "Well, I would, but I'm certainly not brave enough for that sort of thing," he shook his head.

Blackie had decided to give Trevor a headrubbing treatment the only fabulous way a cat can do it. While purring, it strolled around him (and on top of him) gliding its head against Trevor's arm and legs. Sometimes the collision with its small furry black head and the man was a bit too hard, but the cat did not seem to mind. It only purred louder if Trevor decided to put a petting hand on him. There was nothing better than getting attention from a friendly human, Blackie thought. And the more different humans that liked him, the more empowered he felt. After all, he knew he was darn cute, and his owner Willow was just not enough. Nothing was ever enough for a cat who thought himself to be the king of the animal kingdom.
”Do you have any pets, Trevor?” Willow asked.
She did not remember if she had seen the man with an owl or something. Surely she would have squeaked and ran over to pet it the moment she saw it. And even though it could have happened in the past, the seer did not remember it. Sadly, her abilities often happened to push a few memories aside, and she often found herself zoning out because she tried to remember something she was sure had happened to her.
”Oh my goodness! Muggle photos? How interesting! I wonder how they make them not moving...” Willow blinked while smiling widely. ”Will you teach me afterwards?”
Willow giggled when Trevor mentioned that he was not brave enough to be a spy. She thought he was way braver than her, but honestly, who wasn't? A little mouse was braver than Willow. The only reason why she sometimes appeared to have a hint of bravery inside of her, was because of her foolish ignorance to a dangerous situation.
”I am sure you would be brave enough. But then... We would miss you here at Hogwarts. So maybe you should just stay here and keep being a spy as your secondary profession... Or hobby...” She winked.

At the question of pets, Trevor shook his head, "No, I have not been blessed with animal companionship. I'm not sure if I would really... be apt for that sort of thing." He had never tried taking care of a pet before, but he was sure that he would be the one person to cause trouble and accidentally kill the poor thing. He really didn't have any confidence in his memory nor his responsibility to do so. Granted, he had taken care of his younger siblings for his entire life--but that was different. There were also adults there taking care of them too! Now that Trevor was an adult he certainly didn't feel like one. At least not in the context of responsibility.
Trevor couldn't help but laugh happily as she got excited about the muggle photos. He knew that she would be interested, "I would be honored to teach you, Willow," he responded with his own wide smile. He would have invited her into his class but he was sure she had others things to do-like her own class to teach. Plus, it would be a lot more fun to do it with just the two of them so he could answer all of her questions with deeper explanation and understanding. He knew she'd have a lot of questions, maybe even more than his students would. This thought made him smile even more.
As she giggled at his explanation of not being brave enough to be a spy, he turned toward her and nodded. "It's true, bravery is not my strong suit." He tried to convince her. But she insisted that he would be brave enough, and then made a few funny little suggestions along with a wink. He lifted his hand to stroke his chin gently, "Hmm... that is a good point. I could just keep doing it around here. Make sure things are going well, keep an eye on those hooligan students of ours," he leaned toward her and pointed at his eye while making a goofy face.

”That's too bad. I think you would be wonderful with pets!” Willow said with a small smile and let Trevor decide what he wanted to do with the cat that was demanding his attention. ”It is very practical as well... Especially owls. I wish I had one.”
Willow's mother had an owl, which had been the main reason for her not to get one. The only person she wrote with was her mother, and since one of them had a mailing bird, then the other clearly did not need one. Sadly, the year Willow bought Blackie, her mother's owl started to get slightly demented and blind due to its old age. The woman regretted afterwards that she had not bought an owl to replace it, but Blackie ended up growing on her, and they still used the old mister owl that could barely see and fly (despite the fact it believed it still was an agile young owling).
”Yay! I am so happy!” Willow laughed when Trevor said that it would be an honour to teach her, and the woman wrapped her arms around him into a warm friendly embrace.
Willow loved touching people – well that came out much creepier than intended... She did not only hug her friends on frequent basis, she also hugged strangers and patted her students on the head. She leaned back again when the said that he could keep an eye on the hooligan students, and Willow glanced around as if she wanted to check that they were not getting spied on by the said students.
”So tell me, Trevor. Who are these hooligan students? I need to be prepared, and you surely know them better than I do.” She asked mischeviously.

"Oh no, no really, I'm not as erhm... graceful as I seem from a distance," Trevor explained as she said he would do well with pets. He kept petting the sweet cat though, even though he was sure he could never handle one of his own. Owls were so independent, that was easy! Other animals needed more attention and help. He couldn't focus on one thing that much. "Owls are easy, they are so simple and calm. They don't really require much," he chuckled, voicing his thoughts out loud.
Trevor couldn't help but smile wider as she exclaimed her happiness, "What do you say about tonight? I'm free if you wanted to come down to my classroom say... after dinner?" he offered. He couldn't help but feel like he was somehow asking her on a date of some kind. The thought made him chuckle, for Willow would probably be a really fun person to take on a date! As she hugged him he just leaned into her, keeping his hands on the kitty that was demanding his love.
Trevor wasn't really a hugger unless he was really close to the person, and Willow was one who had that privilege. When she leaned back he watched her glance around and this brought another life out of him, "OOh, there are plently-" he started, in description of the hooligans, "That James Potter and his friends are pretty rambunctious, but that's not very surprising. I've also got quite a few third years pulling my leg this year..." he chuckled at the thought.
