--Forbidden Forest--
Elaine looked at her watched--it was five minutes to one in the morning. She sighed softly as she hid herself between the trees at the edge of the forest. Damn it had been tough as nails getting out of the dorm, the common room and onto the grounds tonight! Especially with that darn cat around! She wasn't sure where the ocelot had come from but that feline was being a pain in her backside. But she had managed to give the feline the slip--and then she had to get past a couple of professor (one of which being the very professor she was putting on the chopping board) and then of course Peeves had to make his occasional appearance in her life. She nearly got caught by that poltergeist fiend! But she had managed to slip past them all--thanks to her disillusionment charm among other things--and now she was where the other told her to meet him grim at.
Elaine sighed as she waited for the creature to makes its appearance. She wouldn't admit this to anyone in a million years but she was a bit nervous about this meeting. For all of the bravado that she had in her letter--she was nervous. The tales she had heard about the man. How he had tortured people and killed his own family. What would he do to her? She was a seventeen year old and even she would admit that she wasn't skilled enough to take him on. But she was quick to banish those thoughts from her mind -- this was for the better.
She was going to learn things she never would have learned at this goody two shoes school. The killing curse was getting mighty boring after all. I mean really--two simple words--a flash of green light and bam boom you were gonzo. It was just too simple for her. She wanted to instill more fear into her victims before she killed them. And this man was going to help her. Or at least he said he would help her. She wasn't quick to totally believe his words but the temptation was just too much for her to resist. And if he did back stab her--she had already decided that she would come back as a ghost and haunt his soul till he grew grey and died! But she had no intention of being killed any time soon and so she had to rely on his word. Rely on him having told her the truth.
Fun...
And now to wait. She had gotten hear early for the sole purpose of not wanting to be late. She didn't imagine him being one to enjoy lateness. She wanted to be punctual and instead she was here early. But that was okay. She was patience. She could wait. And wait she would...
