The day Cassiopeia was chosen for the house of Ravenclaw was one of the most amazing days of her entire life. It was also the day she got the sorrowful confirmation of her fear of heights; it had always been there, lingering in the way she’s outright refuse trying to fly on a broom and tried her best to avoid tall places, but standing in the towers, looking down from a window after a friend asked her to see the beautiful sight out of it… it did things to her stomach that weren't worth speaking of. It’s true this had gotten better with the years, she could now stand in front of a - closed - window, but if the girl had any say in it, she’d always choose the lower floors.
Amongst the people who knew of her fear, there was Jimmie. Her beloved cousin whom she needed to speak to right at that second, in fact, which was giving Cassia some headache, as she’d come and gone throughout the floors desperately looking to find the person she shared relatives with. It seemed she was seen on the first floor not five seconds after Cassia left for higher ones, which frustrated her; though she did her best not to frown, keeping wrinkles far away from her face. Then, she was told Jimmie must be at the library, which made some sense. Even as a Ravenclaw, she wasn’t the biggest fan of libraries; the so many books made her feel bad for not actually wanting to read most of it, and Cassia felt, every so often, that she was bringing some shame to her house for not fitting into its usual standards. Not that she was, and truly she knew, it was just a thought about books she tended to avoid. With her important task of bringing beauty to people’s lives, it was no wonder she’d turned recognized for it at Hogwarts.
Nonetheless, the need to find her cousin was immediate and at last, upon entering the library, she recognized the strands of hair so very typical. "You need a haircut." Spoken soon as Cassia got closer, inspecting the girl’s hair with a thoughtful look on her face; trying to imagine how it could be made better so Jimmie would look s-p-e-c-t-a-c-u-l-a-r. Not that Jimmie wanted it, but a girl could dream, right? "Oh, sorry! You know it’s hard for me to keep these thoughts inside. Look..." Voice turned to whisper so she wouldn’t bother the rest of students, Cassia found plenty of seat space next to Jimmie to make herself comfortable. One of her hand rested on her cousin’s arms, stealing her attention. "I need your help with something and it’s very important. Please? I’m sure you’re working into something crucial and helpful to all of us, students, but right now I need you to stop and help your dear cousin." And there it was- the lost puppy face she’d gotten so good making over the years.
